I've got a pavilion 15-n086sl. When I update to 8.1 the radeon drivers doesn't work good ! I have this error VIDEO_DXGKRNL_FATAL_ERROR. Where can I find the right drivers ?

It take me hours to install intel graphics...and now my amd graphics are not detecting by the os .. My laptop is i5-n203tx ......

and one more thing .. switchable graphics are running perfectly in win 8.1
I just recently had to do a clean install of windows 7 64 bit on a pavilion 15t-n200 notebook pc and discovered to my distress that the drivers page for this model doesn't have all the drivers such as display, ethernet, audio, and a few others that aren't installed. Support assistant doesn't recognize the missing drivers but they are shown as missing in device manager and don't come up with any Microsoft updates either.

Recently I am getting blue screens and later message appear saying the ATM driver stopped working. I found many problems with this driver in the past as well. When I check the relevent page for my laptop model, there is no update since 2012..
Can I update these two drivers seperately by getting updates from Intel and AMD sites?

When I try to update through the CCC or HP Support Assist, it is always no updates..

View 4 Replies View RelatedI want to install a program that automatically installs the drivers from the dell website. I thought that Dell Update was such program, but it doesn't work. There are drivers that need updating since I installed them on the 19.12.2014 from the dell website, but the program says "Your system is up to date", even after manual scan. What's strange is that the latest Dell Update version on the website is 1.3, but the program updates itself to 1.4.

Earlier i had installed AMD drivers from windows update but the problem still exists. In the game i am getting memory insufficient error, unable to change graphics and display settings. I tried changing settings through BIOS setup, but no such (Advance/Display)setting were available? I tried setting the app to high performance too through 'Configue Switchable Graphics' option but no success. which drivers i need to install or what i need to do to work my AMD Radeon Card.
I bought the Aspire R13 just 2 days ago, but the screen visualization doesn't automatically orientate when I rotate the display. I checked the auto rotation on the screen properties and it is on.
The auto rotation was the main reason to choose this new laptop....Could be the sensors do not work properly?
I have the hp stream 13 for couple days now. The first time I skyped the webcam worked. Now when I try to access the camera it says "to get started connect camera". And so when I try to skype there is no video icon. Under imaging devices I see "hd truevison hd" and when I click on it it says it's not connected. So annoying and frustrating because I just bought this laptop.

I have a problem on my laptop. My laptop is HP pavilion g4-1357tx, with Windows 7 64 bit, already updated with new BIOS provided in HP website.
I updated my laptop from Windows 7 32 bit to 64 bit 2 weeks ago. Since then, I can't use the alt buttons, both on the left and right. Some information on internet said that there might be some dusts under the buttons, and I've tried to clean it, but the problem still occur.
After the complete melt-down of the old WinXp, I installed Win7 - so far most of ti works. However, WLAN doesnt work. (P/N is PY869PA#ABG, it also says dv1303ap on the label)
Is there any driver for WLAN available? Witout WLAn or internet access the good old HP is pretty useless....

I've tried to click f11 and system recovery it shows restore your computer to the out of the box and choose between backup files first or recover without backing up your files before it proceed..what will i do..? I formatted the harddrive and loaded Windows Vista Business 64 bit. I downloaded and installed all drivers that were recommended by HP but my Sound and Audio doesn't work. Neither does my Mass Storage Controller nor my PCI Modem. All were working with the WIN XP.

Then I tried to factory reset the system and it says "problem occurred while resetting",or something similar to that.it also showed that no changes where !made.

So at first I was confused but now I understand. First official, completely top to bottom support for all mobility cards (in the specified range of course) will come out with 10.3. What they didn't say that SOME mobility cards will be already supported with 10.2 and our " Dell (Studio XPS 16 Mobility Radeon HD 4670)" is on that list.
This was posted in another thread, but this wasn't the focus. They also have beta 10.3s...but I thought it was neat that official 10.2 WHQL certified drivers supported our card ....

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have an HP DV6226US and I recently updated the BIOS to the F.2D version (from what I remember as F.14, and that BIOS version F.14 is not listed under the previous versions in the download section). I am running vista 32 os. F.2D is the version that is given for my model of computer on the HP software and drivers site. When I ran the updater, I remember it saying it checked compatibility before the BIOS flash and that it was the correct one. I do however have a T2250 intel processor rather than a T2060, which was the processor that my laptop was supposed to come with and I don't know if that would have any effect on which BIOS update I truly need.
Here is my question....
Before the flash the fan used to run constantly with obvious varying degrees of RPM's. After the flash, the fan doesn't seem to come on at all. It turned on once when I restarted the computer (right before it started loading vista). Other than that, I can't here a thing. However, I have used HD Tune and a very simple CPU monitor to see what kind of temps the internals are running at. My HDD (WD scorpion black 7200rpm 320GB) is running at constant 46c to 47c. Well within the manufactures specs, even under scans of the 200+gb loaded onto it. The CPU cores seem to be well within manufactures specs as well. Is this change in fan behavior due to the BIOS update, and if I should be concerned about the seemingly lack of fan activity. I use this laptop for DJ and Karaoke at 4 to 5 hour intervals about 5 days a week, and require that it not overheat.
so basically I reinstalled windows 7 Home Premium x64 Operating System and it seems that some drivers are missing. View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a HP 6t-1200 CTO Ultrabook with the Radeon HD 8750M and Intel 4000 switchable graphics.
Problem: When I am operating with Windows 8 they function normally, but upon updating to Windows 8.1 the AMD drivers fail to be able to initiate and D3D.
1. Most current driver is dated 2013-01-14
2. Generic drivers do not recognize the hardware
3. Drivers for other HD 8xxx series based HP laptops do not resolve the problem
Current workaround: Open the Catalyst Control Center and go to switchable graphics application settings under the power tab. Switch anything that uses DirectX to run in power saving mode, this will run those applications using the intel 4000 graphics which has a more current driver that works with Windows 8.1.
Solution: For now I believe that the only solution is to wait for HP and Microsoft to work together on creating a newer driver. Once that newer driver is released it should resolve the problem. The other solution is to permanently stick to Windows 8 and not update to Windows 8.1. This is a bit more difficult though since Microsoft pushes 8.1 very aggressively. There might be a way to make the notifications and automatic attempts to update stop, but I have not looked into that solution.
