Graphic card AMD Radeon HD 8670M. I couldn't find other drivers than for Windows 8 x64.

I just recently had to do a clean install of windows 7 64 bit on a pavilion 15t-n200 notebook pc and discovered to my distress that the drivers page for this model doesn't have all the drivers such as display, ethernet, audio, and a few others that aren't installed. Support assistant doesn't recognize the missing drivers but they are shown as missing in device manager and don't come up with any Microsoft updates either.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI recently reinstalled windows 7 (64 bit) on my pavilion dv6-6135dx.Problem is the system can't find drivers for the PCI device, SM Bus Controller, and two USB controllers. The yellow exclamation sign shows up next to them in device manager.Out of the 4 USB ports I have, only the two on the right side work.

Looking for the drivers for the Ethernet Controller, SM Bus Controller and the USB Controller on the left side of the laptop (right side works). Last week out of nowhere i noticed some banding on my display. It would be really bad all of a sudden for a few seconds and then disappear for a few mins. It had not been dropped or mishandled at all. 2 days later the display completely went black (but the backlight was still on). I have been doing research about what the problem is and have read alot about how HP had a bunch of notebooks with bad motherboards and GPU's that had to be replaced. My computer still works fine - just with no display. When hooked up to an external display it work no problem. And the original display will flash on occasionally as well.
My question is:
Do I have the same problem as mentioned above with the bad motherboard?
Or is it just a display problem (that can hopefully be fixed with a quick display replacement?
I've had my HP DV2000 for about a year. Recently I started having this problem. I would boot it up and the screen would be distorted like the image below. Sometimes it freezes and other times it just stays like that. I've ran MemTest to test the memory and that came out fine. I've also formatted it and started from scratch and it remains the same.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have an HP Pavilion Sleekbook Touchsmart 14-B132TX. My sound disappeared while I was working using it about a month ago. I phoned HP Hotline and the Tech Support told me to just uninstall it from Device Manager and upon restart, the driver will install automatically. Which I did.
The sound did come back but again it disappeared after about 15 minutes of use, so I called tech support again and they gave me links to HP Support for drivers to download and install which I did and restarted the computer and the sound came back again. BUT AGAIN, the sound disappeared. I phoned tech support and they told me to just do a system restore which I did and the sound came back again. But it again disappeared after about just 7 minutes of use.
These are the drivers I installed from HP's website: sp60642, sp64082, sp60464 and sp64031. After so many reinstallation of drivers. I cleaned my notebook with CCleaner and went to HP Support Assistant in the hope of getting a solution, there was an instruction there to download the QUALCOMM Atheros driver, and I installed again the said driver..The sound reappeared after restarting. AND AGAIN, it disappeared after just using the laptop for just about 3 minutes. This laptop is quite new, just bought it 10 months ago. I'm using the Windows 8 OS.
i got a hp dv2000 and sometimes when i start it up and it gets to the user selection screen i cant find my cursor to select my user account. I keep moving my finger on the touch pad but cant find it. I have to hold the power button down it will shut off then i have to pull out the battery start it up and the cursor is now there this has happened like 5 times already what would cause this?

The problem is that while watching online video(youtube) through the web browsers, first of all the video playing smoothly, but after a few seconds, the video stops a while, and then continue play but the video is freeze while the audio works fine, then it completely stops.
