For Logic Pro users... I know I can beat map an audio track using the global tracks beat mapping grid that appears by clicking analyse. The question is... Is there a way to add more than 1 track to this and not mess each other up. When I add a second audio track and beat map it; when I'm correcting its regions it messes up the tracks above...
I realise that the beat map is part of the global tracks, but is there a way I can use it on a per track basis or something like that?
And I plan to buy an imac to be my powerful Desktop or in case my Laptop stops working sometimes.
I need one more powerful than my Dell (If less I dont know why I have to buy a Desktop anyway)
I know i7 2.8Ghz quad core with hyper threading and Ati 4850 512 GB model from new Imac will beat My Dell badly but How about i5 model with ATI 4850 512 or Core 2 3.33 E8600 (if I got it right) with ATI 4670 256 GB?
How to make my keyboard entries match the keypad layout? I have tried several English keyboard layouts available from the installed files but none of them exactly match my layout. For instance one layout (English International) require a space after every " or ' before the character will appear. I can understand this as it allows for certain special characters related to other languages. If I change to plain English then the key comes out as #. I have downloaded Microsoft's keyboard mapping application but it does not seem to work in Win8. I don't get any layout diagrams when I load a keyboard file. I am pretty sure it is the layout file because an external keyboard gives the exact same characters as the Dell factory installed kbd. I know there is commercial mapping software available but I don't want to buy it and find it won't work just as Microsoft's doesn't.
i have pavillion DM4-3002TX Beat Edition. Â I just download and install the norton partition magic 8.0 demo from website... and suddently or accidentally my recovery partition been deleted. So I can't recovering my system anymore or disabled. Â so how can i get the recovery partition back to my notebook??
I'd like to stream some movies and TV shows from my laptop to view on my TV. The TV is a Pioneer Kuro PDP-5080.
I'm going to be ordering a Mini DisplayPort -> HDMI cable from monoprice to get the video going, but am unsure of what i need for audio, as i understand the minidisplay port doesn't carry audio. I'd like to use the highest quality option available, which i think is the optical out via headphone jack but what cable do i need? My TV has a "Optical - Digital Out" port on the back.
Also, the other option i have is to use a 1/8" -> RCA Y-cable correct? And the output quality won't be as good as the other method, right?
I'm trying to put my mic or even my guitar (yes i have a mixer) through the line in/headphone jack, but the internal mic is the only one being recognised. What the heck? And in the mic options there is only System setting and built-in (both have the same result)
I have a new 2009 macbook pro 15 inch, and I have no complaints whatsover but! when I installed windows xp using bootcamp, whenever I run games, the sound quality is rather poor and the volume is very low... is there anyway to fix this? or should I sux it up?
i cant get any sound to come out in bootcamp. Windows loads up completely silent. I think a file got corrupted or something. All the icons show up in windows, and it says sound is at the max.
I was at Bestbuy yesterday looking at the new Unibody Macbook pro 13 and noticed that it only had one audio port next to the SD card slot, and it was marked with a headphone icon. I presume that this is the audio out connection. However, what was noticable was the absence of an audio-in connection that is clearly shown on the Apple website photo of the product (below)...
Was the unit I saw simply a fluke, or an "early" unit? Does the "current" new pro 13 have two ports as apple shows, or just one, as on the Bestbuy unit. My current unibody(early 09) has two ports, and I'd hate to lose one by upgrading.
I have when running XP/Vista/7 under bootcamp. Looking on the net beforehand, I've found things about the 'red light'.... I know what that is, so no replies about that....
Why doesn't the output work under Windows? When plugging speakers/headphones in I get nothing through them and the sound continues to come out of the internal speakers; which I also had to patch as the sound level was so low I nearly took the macbook back due to Apple not giving a damm that I'd just spent £900. But anyhow, I can live with that..... and the dodgy trackpad driver..... and the backlight keyboard that won't be turned off...... but not that the output doesn't work under Windows.
I haven't tried using a digital out; mainly since I don't have an amplifier that has a suitable input.
I bought a miniDisplay Port to HDMI and 3 HDMI Cables and a HDMI splitter from seller mambate on eBay. Surprisingly it was all really good quality, the audio works well, I wish I had a surround sound system to test it on but I use optical audio for HT. So my Hanns G 28 Monitor is really the only thing I could test it on, and it works.
The Splitter comes wit a remote too which I thought was cool.
This is my MBP13 and he Hanns G
Funny side note, the MBP quicktime plays better 1080p vids on the HannsG dont know why. either way plex is the best program for videos.
I ordered new E6500 that came with Vista on it and I wiped that and have installed XP Pro SP2 on the machine. I have followed the guide on this page and installed everything in the correct order. The only thing that didn't install was the dial-up modem. It errored out and said "No MODEM device was found". Typically on the Latitude laptops I seem to remember installing the modem driver and it taking care of this entry in the device manager, but not this time.  There is a dial-up modem on the laptop and this is the only device that looks to not be installed. There is no webcam, WAN modem, or anything else like that.  Has problem with installing XP onto a E6500? Is the installer for the modem driver just bad or is there possibly something else going on.
The sound on my HP Pavilion G6-1a19wm is not working.  Sound "does" work when using the audio jack with external speakers. I have tried uninstalling the driver, updating the driver, microsoft fix-it, and troublshooting steps. audio device shows in device manager and is supposedly working properly, mute is "not' enabled. visually all audio related things suggest that the audio is fine and troubleshooting finds no problems..Â
I have HP envy 15 j002er laptop. Originally I got it with Windows 8 but then I changed operation system to Windows 7 Pofessional (64-bit).I can`t install IDT high definition audio codec on it. I guess that is the reason why I don`t have and I can`t use Beats Audio interface on my laptop (only speakers are working). There are no audio drivers for Windows 7 available for download on HP website. When I`m cheking for driver updates via HP support, it proposes me only updates for Chipset, Graphics, Network, etc.And no Audio Driver..How can I solve it and install IDT high definition audio codec?
I have recently bought a new probook450 g2 but whenever i play a video or audio file an interrupt occurs like a buzz after fixed interval, I don't know what to do ......
I have a hp pavilion 15-e078ea, core i5 processor, 2.6ghz, 8gb ram, windows 8.1 64bit....  After updating windows to 8.1 the dts audio control panel will not allow me to use audio enhancements or the graphic equalizer....  I have looked on hp support and done all driver updates and it is still not working....  I am assuming this is a software issue. will there be an update?
Yesterday I uninstalled IDT Audio driver by mistake. Now my NB doesn't have any sound. Where can I download the IDT audio installer for my NB?  Version that I use is showing as Windows 7 64 Home Prem OA.  Product Number: B5A09UA#ABA Model Name: HP Pavilion g6-2040nr Notebook PC
HP Pavilion dv6-7030tx Entertainment Notebook PC Windows 7 Intel i7-3610QM CPU @2.3GHz 8Gb Ram  I have no audio. It has been previously working, but suddenly stopped. On the small speaker icon there is a red cross indicating "No Audio Output Device is enabled" When I log on to the computer i get a window that says "CWindowsSystem32AUDIOSES.DLL is not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error."  I have attempted to Troubleshoot but unable to get any sound. I have updated the Audio driver, but it is the up to date driver.
