Dell :: Driver Software For Bluetooth Peripheral Device
May 20, 2009
I m keep getting Found New Hardware message when i m login to my computer. it says Windows needs to install driver software for your Bluetooth Peripheral Device. it tries to install by itself then askes me to insert the disk if i have one. i tried to keep the driver disk in but it can't help. where can i get this driver from. i also uninstalled and reinstalled but nothing helped me.
Recently I have purchased Compaq 15-a002tu Notebook. Initially bluetooth driver was not working. The driver was installed. Now the proble is, it the Deice Manager it is showing "Bluetooth Periphrals Driver not installed" where do I locate the driver. OS is Win 7 -64 Bits.
I am using HP DV3 4305SE, after formatting my PC ibletooth headset unable to connect. Its showing " bluetooth peripheral device driver missing " message..
When I switch on my laptop, the Found New Hardware Wizard starts saying "Windows needs to install driver software for your Bluetooth Peripheral Device". If I click on the Locate and Install Driver Option, it is unable to install any drivers.
My Bluetooth has been working fine. I have just two devices attached to my laptop via bluetooth - A bluetooth mouse and my Smartphone.
On my Vostro 3450, in the Device Manager, the Bluetooth Peripheral Device status says "The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28) There is no driver selected for the device information set or element. To find a driver for this device, click Update Driver." On clicking Update Driver I get the response that driver not found.
recently purchased a Inspiron 15R 5521 from Dell Australia and took me a few weeks to install and setup the the system the way I want.
Today, I tried to enable bluetooth but the slider won't move to On mode, so I checked Device Manager and Bluetooth device was labeled as Unknown device.
So I checked my service tag numbered driver updates and there's a Intel Centrino Advance-N 2230 15.5.6.48 A02 driver update, so tried updating to that driver. But it returned device not configured correctly and prompting me to reinstall driver. Reinstalling driver fails with code 1 error.
Maybe something physically wrong with the Bluetooth side of the hardware ??? Anyway to confirm such without doing a full factory image restore as it took ages for me to setup the system the way I want !
I've tried, uninstalling the bluetooth device from device manager and restarting Win 8 and reinstalling device via hardware change detection Tried uninstalling Centrino driver and installing previous version of the driver
below are screenshots of what I see
My service tagged list of drivers showing Centrino Advance-N 2230 15.5.6.48 A02 driver
1. The damn CPU whining? I know everyone has it. Dell said last time I called that they're working on some way to fix it. The new A09 Bios didn't seem to do anything for me, or anyone else apparently according to dell's support forum. What's up with that?
2. My laptop wobbles on the top right and bottom left corners. it only wobbles if I use my 6cell batt, and it doesn't wobble w/ the 9 Cell. So does that mean the 6cell's rubber feet thing on the top right corner isn't high enough? Can dell fix that?
3. The "increase volume" media button thing isn't as responsive as the other ones. i have to press really hard to get it to respond. all the other ones i just tap it lightly, and it works.
Here's some questions that I know Dell has no clue what to do with:
4. I'm currently using Vista Ultimate on this only because I couldn't get my bluetooth driver and my sigmatel audio driver to work properly on XP. since dell hasn't released a xp bluetooth driver, i used WIDCOMM 5.1 stack, and the bluetooth headset and stereo headset drivers would disable the sigmatel drivers. really annoying. cmd51229 says he's gotten it to work:..........................
* Bluetooth syncing between PPC mobile phone does not work * Bluetooth between PPC mobile phone and Dell Laptop pairs * USB Syncing between mobile phone and Mobile device center works * Bluetooth syncing between PPC mobile phone prior to system reinstall DID work and worked well. * Bluetooth mouse was paired first this time and works well.
Problem Details:
I have a windows pocket pc phone that connected to Bluetooth very well with my Dell D830 prior to the crash I had last week. In fact, it worked better with Bluetooth than it did with the USB connection. After receiving a hard drive from Dell with the Vista Dell Basic operating system image on it and set my system up again along with all my programs and downloaded and installed the Mobile Device Center 6.1 from the Microsoft site. I synced pocket PC phone up with usb and had no problems. I set up my bluetooth and it connected with no problems. (I have a Bluetooth mouse that I set up and it works perfectly.) The Mobile Device Center partnership with bluetooth will not work. When I select ActiveSync and select Menu/Sync with Bluetooth, the Mobile center does not recognize the PPC phone. I see no response from the Mobile Device Center at all.
I own a Inspiron 3521, and about 6 months after I bought the system my Bluetooth stopped working, I search for devices, and the only device that shows up is my LGP-769 cell phone, and none of my Bluetooth headsets or other audio devices. However after pairing I cannot establish any kind of connection with the device. My Bluetooth icon still appears in the system tray but the settings will not open, even in the Device Manager the phone reads as a normal Bluetooth device. I've tried updating the drivers, but whenever I try to install a new driver it says that the OS is not compatible, even though it is for Windows 8 64-bit, and from the Dell website. I have searched every form and looked into every possible system setting, and no one seems to be having luck finding a solution to the issue, none of my previous Dell systems have done this.
I just got a Logitech Bluetooth mouse and for the first time my Bluetooth is apparently messed up.
Previously, I have been using it weekly to sync my phone with Outlook via Bluetooth...so this is a brand new situation.
I have an Acer Ferrari 4006WLMi running Windows Vista Ultimate 32bit.
My Broadcom Bluetooth chip shows up as Unknown Device under Universal Serial Bus controllers. Turning it on and off(using the button on the front of the laptop) got it to show up once properly as a Broadcom chip under Network adapters. However, I can't get it to show up properly again.
I've tried uninstalling it and letting Windows find it again but that doesn't help. I downloaded the latest bluetooth drivers from Acer's site however it won't install w/o a Bluetooth device being installed.
Intel dual band Wireless-N 7260 model 7260HMW AN. Bluetooth does not appear in device manager. Proper soft drivers required for Windows 8.1. Tried uninstalling and re-installing === latest drivers installed. WIFI is always working. OS Windows 8.1 x64 enterprise.
My device manager could not detect bluetooth device. and if i search my bluetooth device from the bluetooth icon, it pairs with my bluetooth device and shows connected but after a while it shows not connected.
So, after a clean install of windows 7 i go to install the bluetooth software from broadcom's site the install utility reports that it cannot find a bluetooth device, and that i should enable the device/turn the device on problem is no bluetooth devices are listed in the device manager and there's no button on the laptop to enable/disable the bluetooth controller. I do not want to install the hp wireless assistant.
Recently I got my new inspiron n5110. after i had installed OS, i installed drivers, with bluetooth driver amongst them. I managed to make everything work just fine, except bluetooth radio. I downloaded original driver from Dell support page and installed it, but device manager shows "Generic bluetooth device" with a little yellow exclamation mark. when i go to the properties of the device, it says "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)". i tried a lots of things but none worked. then finally i tried to uninstall driver, and found out that uninstaller throws error: "There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor." i'm running win7 enterprise x64 ....
Bluetooth not working on my new Inspiron 15 3521. System config - Windows 7 64bit.
I have updated driver from Dell support but still having same problem. It goes in searching mode and nothing further. Unable to detect the laptop from bluetooth device (phone).
I have upgraded to Windows XP and reinstalled all the drivers I need from the Acer website. Wireless networking is fine.
The problem is, when I slide the Bluetooth switch on the front of my computer while a device (Nintendo Wiimote) is waiting to connect to the computer, "No Device" in green text shows up on the bottom of my screen. I think this shows the driver is somewhat working and the hardware is detected. The LED indicator beside the switch does not light up.
I go to my control panel and double click the "Bluetooth Configuration" icon, nothing happens for a while, then a single dialog shows up saying "Bluetooth device not found. Please verify that your Bluetooth device is properly connected and turned on." showing only an OK button.
Inside the computer management window, under device manager, a group called "Bluetooth Devices" exists, and inside is something named "Bluetooth Bus Enumerator". I have right clicked on both and tried "Scan for Hardware Changes" and nothing happened. The properties show that "This device is working properly"
Drivers Provider is Broadcom 1/11/2006 Version 5.0.1.1500
Yes I have restarted my computer several times. All of the above actions were performed four, once with my finger holding the switch and once without, then again with the Wiimote in a waiting-for-connector mode.
My Wii is turned off with the power supply unplugged, there are no other devices with Bluetooth in my house.
how to get Bluetooth working.
There are other problems with this laptop, the card reader only supports SD cards, not Memory Sticks or xD cards. That's a problem for another day. However I would never recommend this laptop and this brand to anyone, but it was pretty cheap.
I am trying to connect bluetooth earphones to my HP-Pavilion-dv7-6b32us Notebook. I have two different models that I am trying to connect to my notebook: Nextware Sonic and Jarv earphones, both via bluetooth. I've tried "Add a Device" through the control panel, but the devices don't pair or show up. I can't find Bluetooth in the device manager. Are there any drivers I can download or software on the computer I can activate to solve this, or do I need to buy a bluetooth dongle?
When I first got my Y2P I tried to pair my phone with it to use that silly Lenovo SMS utility. That was 4 monts ago and I am at my wits end trying to UN install my phone. I cannot get my computer to pair to anything other than my bt mouse. Have tried headphones and keyboards... no go!!!
It cannot even connect to my phone!!! I have tried...
-Manually removed all bluetooth drivers and my phone's driver. Including showing hidden devices. -Deleted the drivers using intel's driver removal tool -Installed new drivers -Tried every method for removing drivers that shows up on search engines on the first two pages.
I cant find my bluetooth device in my (acer aspire s3 ultrabook i5 2467m 13.3) before i am using window7 it works properly but now im switch to windows8.1 and i cant find my bluetooth device even in device manager. i also used scan driver but nothing happend..
I recently brought a Aspire E5-411, in Thailand, with a Linpus Linux OS. I installed my prefered OS Win7 x64. I managed to locate and install the hardware drivers. The strange thing is there is no bluetooth device showing in device manager. Is it because
(a) there is no b/tooth adapter on this model, (b) the adapter is faulty, (c) I need to install a driver to activate, or (d) other?
I am facing problem relating to PCI Device. Whenever i click on this driver in device manager i get a message that it is not installed. On updation too i am getting this message that windows could not find driver software for this device.

I have a HP pavilion dv7-4180sd compatible with windows 7 (64 bit ). i am running windows 8.1 pro (64 bit) currently. I have tried a bundle of bluetooth drives and configuration setting to get my bluetooth work but it is not yet working. All the softwares say that "Bluetooth hardware disabled or not found" . in addition to this my wifi button (f12) is not turning wifi on or off.
I have been using Lenovo g500 for about a year now but last week there was some problem with my laptop and I had to restore windows using Lenovo's restore button. The windows restores just fine and I was able to update to Windows 8.1 althought all my data in C drive got wiped. But now my laptop won't connect to any Bluetooth device. Whenever I go to PC settings, it just says "searching for bluetooth devide but it never detects my phone or any other bluetooth devide.
Also, since my data got wiped, I have to install the drivers for my printer again but this laptop won't even recognize the CD!! It won't recognize ANY CD. And the Lenovo Veriface won't work either now.I've searched and searched for these issues. I re-installed bluetooth drivers and lenovo veriface but they still don't work. And the bluetooth drivers never got deleted from my laptop since they were installed in Drive D but they don't. laptop won't install my printers drivers.
I am new user of hp laptop. I have an HP Spectre 13 3001el and windows 8.1; my bluetooth no longer exists! I do not see the command to enable the bluetooth settings and the network card on the bluetooth does not even appear in the device manager! I reinstalled hundreds of times the drivers for the card "intel duel band wireless AC 7260" but bluetooth still does not work! I tried to restore the initial configuration of windows but to no avail, bluetooth still does not exist!
