I installed 10.3 since it's release but it was a messy install. I downloaded the notebook version and whenever I choose install nothing happens. There is no option in windows 7 x64 to remove the program ....
I'm awaiting the arrival of a FX2500 (a 7900GTX by any other name) for my Inspiron 9400 and had downloaded the drivers which were recommended to work (Forceware 169.04 - anything newer wouldn't have the O/C ability)... However, I thought I'd give them a try on my current setup with a Go 7800 to see what effect they had... I uninstalled the current drivers I was using (92.92 Mobileforce Drivers) using the uninstall option in the start menu... I then made sure that all drivers for the display adapter had been uninstalled. Then I ran Driver Cleaner Pro, then CCleaner (both the Cleaner and the Registry issue button) and Driver Sweeper for good measure... However, when I rebooted and tried to install the Nvidia Forceware169.04 drivers the installation got in a little way, and then said that it could not continue as the drivers were not for the card it detected!.. It could have something to do with when I first booted in after removing all the drivers, XP said it had found a new card, asked for the drivers, but while it was doing this the little icon on the taskbar for a new card flashed up "new hardware found Nvidia 7800 Mobileforce X2".... It appears that even though I've done everything I can think of to remove the "Mobileforce" label from my computer (including going into regedit and finding and deleting every string which mentions mobileforce) something still remains! Or - does 169.04 simply not work with Go 7800s? It's not a big problem because i've reinstalled my old Mobileforce drivers - but it's left me concerned that when I install my new FX2500 card next week, I may not be able to get rid of some stubborn bit of a program somewhere on my comp........................
Trying to get rid of these questionably useful programs -- but I don't see entries for them in add/remove programs in the control panel (or for any of the other useless VAIO software packages that come on OEM machines sans "fresh start")

Official Notes:
This ATI Catalyst™ driver update will unlock new performance improvements on top of the already previewed features in the initial Catalyst™ 10.3 Preview driver we sampled you in February. This driver will be available to download on March 17th from undgerground.amd.com and it will be called "Catalyst 10.3a Preview". On March 24th we will post the official Catalyst™ 10.3 WHQL certified on amd.com. The difference between the two is that Catalyst™ 10.3a Preview will contain future Eyefinty 6 updates and an Alien vs. Predator optimization which the Catalyst™ 10.3 WHQL posting does not have.
Gosh! I am so excited

Update: Official ATi Catalyst 10.3 Suite Available Now
Does anyone have the catalyst 10.3a preview drivers? I didn't back them up but I remember having way better performance(on my sxps 1645) and overclock performance from it ..
After reading many reviews here, I finally ordered and received my Studio XPS with the RGBLED screen. I felt the reds were a little harsh so I made a few adjustments in Catalyst Control Center that seemed to help.
But I still wanted to make a few more adjustments...So before I got too deep I checked and saw there was an updated driver. So now I updated the driver and it seemed to install okay except now the Catalyst Control Center won't open.
- game profiles now removed from driver to separate XML files. That way when a new game comes out you don't have to wait for the next driver release to have specific fixes or patches for that game.
These profiles will come out as "often as required"
- eyefinity is now supported in crossfire and crossfireX modes - bezel correction for eyefinity - 3D support updates - see pic above
Sorry to bother folks with this nuisance, however, I updated my ATI Mobility Radeon 4650 drivers via Dell's website to 8.65 and ever since, the Catalyst Control Center refuses to run. I politely click on it, the machine thinks for a while and then, rather rudely, simply ignores my request.
My current OS is Windows 8 Pro, Display driver: AMD 13-4_mobility_vista_win7_win8_64_dd_ccc_whql.exe1  If set Backlit brightness to level 2 for example, and after some time display turns off (turn off display after X minute) by itself, or restart the laptop; the Backlit brightness level remains same (level 2) but the actual Luminosity (Intensity of backlit) changes to something else.2  If I decrease the Backlit brightness (Fn + F4) to level 0 (the minimum level), and if I further press the key combination (Fn + F4) to decrease Backlit brightness, it will change the Backlit brightness, but the Backlit brightness should not be changing because it already reaches to the minimum level. This issue doesn't happen in Windows 7 with the same driver. this apart from reverting back to ATI v12.1 ?
My laptop is dell inspirion 5520 with core i5, 8GB memory and amd radeon HD 7670M. When i bought adm radeon switchable graphic works ok. Yesterday, I update the graphic driver. version is 8.933.3.4 from dell website.
Previous version is 8.933.3.0.
After updating, catalyst control center can't load. So, I roll back previous driver version but the catalyst control center can't load.
Cards supported: AMD ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 3450, ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 3650, ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 3670, ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 4330, ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 4570, ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 4670, ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 5450, ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 5470, ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 5650, ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 5730 Driver

I wanted to update my ATI CCC driver. So I downloaded the latest ccc, uninstalled from from my laptop, restarted, installed latest ccc, restarted. Now when I start windows 7 the little icon doesnt show up in the system tray.
I have an ati mobility radeon 4200 on windows 7 x64.
I am getting frequently the message ' Catalyst control center has stopped working' on my laptop. My laptop is G505(59379534) with win 8.1 64 bit os. I learnt that updating to latest catalyst drivers from AMD site may solve this problem. But how can I locate specific driver suited to my laptop in AMD site for downloading. Also today morning the message ' Display driver stopped and it was recovered successfully' was flashed in laptop. So I think latest display driver is also needed. Whether I have to install any updates for solving above problems if so how to identify required drivers for downloading.
I have an FW11M which I formatted when I bought it, put on vista ultimate and after a weekend of fiddling, got all of the devices detected with correct drivers installed.
Anyway, now I would like to update the graphics drivers to the new ATI 9.1 catalysts except that every time I try, I run the setup, it appears as though it is working and then says installation complete...
however, it changes nothing. Device manager still reports the old driver version and the catalyst control centre does not run
My laptop model is HP Envy 6 1178-sai just updated my graphic card (AMD 7670HD series to driver 13.251.0.0) and now the Catalyst Control Centre application is not opening at all, not even an error sign pops upwhat should i do?
i have downloaded Catalyst Control Center several times but it is still not working. I have Paviliion dv6-6120se, AMD radeon hd 6490M and built-in intel GPU hd 3000  both GPUs is working fine but the problem started when i uninstalled the Catalyst Control Center in order to get a new updated one from AMD website. But the AMD site said my version of radeon hd 6490M is not supported anyway i have tried everything i uninstalled the ATI GPU driver and install it again. Somehow I downloaded Catalyst Control Center the and the installation finished and the same problem it is still not working. Now i lost the Catalyst Control Center and the switchable graphics config.
I get this message every time the computor starts.
[The Catalyst Control Centre is not supported by the driver version of your enabled graphics adapter. Please upgrade your ATI Graphics driver or enable your ATI Adapter using The Displays Manager].
My HP Pavillion 15 Notebook PC (15-n083sa) is reporting that the Catalyst Control Centre has stopped working correctly. I do not understand what this error relates to .... Â I'm running win8.1. Product number: E9M94EA#ABU (If required?)
I keep getting a message on my laptop: Catalyst control center: host application has stopped working. Â This has started happening after I tried to do a BIOS update last week and I ended up with the blue screen of death & had to recover my whole laptop.
Is it normal that dell.ca would have fewer choices of screens than dell.com? I'm looking at the studio 15, and dell.com lists Hi Resolution/Bright,
glossy widescreen 15.4 WLED display (1440x900) as a choice, which is what I want, but dell.ca doesn't. When I view the system specs though, that choice is listed as on option.
