HP Envy 15j 151sa OS/Software :: Missing Driver Download Web Page
Apr 6, 2014
Where has the driver download page gone for the HP Envy 15 j 151sa notebook ? I was on the page only 2 weeks ago and its not there anymore. I have selected the appropriate country and even entered the serial number but still nothing!
My notebook:
HP Envy 15 j 151
Windows 8.1 64-Bit
Purchased in Ireland
My windows got corrupted, so I had to reinstall it, and I was trying to grab the drivers from the support page
[URL]
However, once I select the operating system, it gives the loading symbol and never moves forward. I've waited a half hour to no effect. I tried looking up other laptops and their driver pages loaded immediately, so I don't believe it's on my end. Is there a problem with the page?
If you navigate to the drivers' download page for Inspiron 7520, you will notice under "BIOS" that there is a version A11 (released date: October 15, 2012) available for download. However, the small print says "Applies to: Dell Vostro 3560 system BIOS". Is it safe to flash my current BIOS version A04 to A11 for my Inspiron 7520? If not, why is that item listed in the first place?
I have an HP Envy TC 17, and I am trying to use multiple logins to the same page using SimplePass. How can add another account to an already existing account?
just got a Z40-70 59436180 w/ nvidia geforce and installed it with windows 7 (32 bit),the nvidia vga driver setup told me that i have to install intel vga driver first before installing the nvidia one..
the problem is i can't install the intel vga driver which i got from the lenovo download support page (the filename is "ivg200w732.exe"),when i run it, it says something like my computer doesn't have the minimum requirements for the driver to install..well it looks like it is the wrong driver, because when i explore the installation directory, i found a "x64"-named directory... and no "x86" or "32bit" or anything similar...
Have done a clean install of VISTA HP. Keep being prompted to install driver for "Mass storage controller". Device manager shows it with yellow exclamation mark. Windows cannot locate a driver. Looked on the Acer site but unsure what to install for this one.
Device manager just calls it "other device" Acer Aspire 9301awsmi.
I recently bought a HP envy 17 2090eo 3D. The pc came with pre-installed Tridef software on the harddrive. I choose to switch one of the HDD to a SSD drive for the OS to gain faster loading time.
Now I cant seem to find a download link for the Triforce software. I only found a trial which is now done. i also found some software on the Triforce site, which checked to see if I had a HP envy, but It told me that I did not have a HP envy system (probably because of the HDD change).
Is there anything I can do to get the Triforce software again?
I'm trying to download a driver from Dell and all I get is the download of their "DellDriverDownloadManager"
I have already downloaded and installed the manager. When I run it it says "no files are selected. Please go to the Drivers and Downloads to select a file"
I had Vista on my notebook and downgraded it to Xp.
And now I can't download any of the Video Controller VGA Compatible driver that is on the internet. I tried many download links and none of them wanted to complete the installation. It always says can't install. And now I tried to uninstall this driver and install it back again but it's gone and I don't find it anymore on the device manager.
I attempted to upgrade my Win 8.1 ENVY DV7-7230US laptop to Win 8.1 via the App store. It said I had to clear all the updates first. So I went the System Updates Screen. When I clicked on it to see what updates were needed. The circling wait symbol appeared and never went away. I can not do any system updates, thus I can not download and install the FREE Win8.1 upgrade.
I have a Touchsmart 15-j040us notebook that is now a little over a year old (now out of warranty). My laptop has been asking to upgrade to Windows 8.1 since the first week or two after I purchased the system brand new.
The update downloads just fine and begins the install but fails every time when it is trying to install the different devices. At that point the screen goes black, the laptop reboots and I get an error message saying that update did not work and that the system has been restored to its previous condition.
After working through HP tech support, including sending the laptop to them to reimage, I am still unable to perform the update, which means my laptop is incapable of running the apps and programs that HP says my laptop is ready to run.
I am fairly confident that the issue is the Nvidia video driver. The currently supported version (version 9.xxx) of the driver is not compatible with 8.1. HP has a driver listed that is compatible with 8.1 (version 10.xxx), but I can't download it until my laptop is running 8.1. Nvidia has posted on the site a driver that is compatible with both operating systems, but I can't seem to download and install it so that I can perform the update. How to download the driver from Nvidia so that I can perform this update?
I have dell inspiron 3521 with windows 7 64 bit installed on it . I don't know from where i can download the wireless card driver. I tried to download the driver from dell website but it did not installed the wireless driver. I am unable to download my wireless driver for my dell 3521.
I've just completed a full clean install of Win 7 on my Dell Studio (1737) laptop. I can't seem to find the correct fingerprint driver to download. I'm using win 7 x64.I can see the AuthenTec Inc. AES2810 Driver under device manager and it says it's working.I have the digital persona software installed and it tells me the fingerprint reader is not installed or can't be detected.
HP Pavilion dv6 1352dx, my son is a scientist who set up this his old (to him ) laptop for me as an gift, and it is now running an ubuntu os,can i download driver updates as if it were still on 64 bit windows ....

I have a ENVY Dv6 laptop. Recently I am no longer able to reach the down arrow on my side scroll bar. It is hidden behind the tool bar on the bottom of the screen. I was able to move the tool bar and see that it is still there but I'd like to keep my toolbar at the base of the screen. Not sure if this is related, but I also used to be able to enlarge and shrink the page size with two fingers on the touchpad but this is no longer working. I am using the web via Internet Explorer.
I have an HP envy 14 beats edition that has a corrupt or missing boot files. The instructions are very simple, enter your windows cd, select language, and then repair. What if my laptop didn't come with a windows cd, just a recovery cd? How do I repair my files. Can I download the files somewhere to boot up and repair my laptop os?
I've downgrade my pc from windows 8 to windows 7 professional 64 bit. I found all the drivers except the one which controls wifi. I need that driver so my pc can recognize the wireless card..
I have purchased Hp Envy 4 with windows 7 recently, By accidently I have lost recoveryMgr.exe files which was originally in D drive.. how can I re download this, (I formatted d drive accidenly)
I can't seem to get rid of it. The best I could come up with was BT driver. I have installed the 370 driver twice. It working fine so I don't think it is that.
