Dropped computer during move,lost all the disks and paperwork.Hard drive was damaged so purchased new one locally..Downloaded ISO win 7 86,installed used original validation.It booted up all fine but no drivers for mouse or Ethernet or wifi actually no drivers.Mouse works.
How can I download the drivers and save them to CD/DVD and install on machine.

Nov 21, 2014I am trying to download drivers for a Dell Inspiron 14Z -N411Z to a USB drive through another laptop, because the hard drive on that Dell completely gave up. There is no installation software disc as it was on another partition on that same hard drive.
When I attempt to install the drives required to the USB drive on my Toshiba, it first wants to install the dsd.exe file before I can download the drivers. After I downloaded that dsd.exe file, I don't seem to find a way to install the required drivers as well. the DellSystemDetect.exe file wants to do that for me, but it is not on the correct laptop.
What do I need to do, to get those drivers downloaded on the USB, so I can complete the installation. I already installed the Windows 7 Home Premium (x64) on the Dell laptop.

Feb 2, 2015I wanted to load QuickSet on a D630.
Unfortunately, I can't find the original versions (e.g. 7.1.19) on dell.com and the version that dell.com says to use (v.8.3.17, A51) is broken. If I attempt to run R180759.exe, I get "Invalid self-extractor configuration. This file may be corrupted." (The MD5 checksum is correct.)
Where can I find a working version of the QuickSet installation file?

Oct 17, 2012If you navigate to the drivers' download page for Inspiron 7520, you will notice under "BIOS" that there is a version A11 (released date: October 15, 2012) available for download.However, the small print says "Applies to: Dell Vostro 3560 system BIOS". Is it safe to flash my current BIOS version A04 to A11 for my Inspiron 7520? If not, why is that item listed in the first place?

I've found a diversion to solve the file transfer issue but still cannot find a SPP outgoing port for connecting the GPS service to the laptop, and still have to services that fail to load a driver. I've tried every version of the driver and the Pro/Set wireless solution inlcuding de 17.1 version (12/29/2014) but still doesn't work.

Dec 25, 2014When i'm turn on my HP envy 4-1257er after the sudden shutdown on the screen displays the HP logo that says "please wait". After a few seconds appears the "blue screen with a sad smiley" and further reads:
"Recovery. Your PC needs to be repaired. The boot configuration data file is missing some required information. File: BCD. Error code: 00xc0000034. You need to use the recovery tools on your installation media. Is your don't have any installation media (like a disc or USB device), contact your system administrator or PC manufacturer. Press ESC for UEFI firmware settings. "
After pressing the ESC button opens a Startup Menu with a choose an actions like: f1 - system information (worked), f2 - system diagnostic (worked), f9 - boot device options (doesn't work) , f10 - BIOS setup (doesn't work), f11 - system recovery (doesn't work). When I click on these buttons (f9, f10, f11) again loaded a blue screen with an error. On the usb-drives with images does not respond in any way.

I am no longer able to boot up the system, I've tried the erecovery (alt f10) but it just proceeds and says it's not able to boot. I have no recovery cd/usb at hand. It is of my understanding that this ultrabook has two harddrives. One SSD on which the operating system is installed and one HDD with the other files on.What do I do to make it work again? Dell :: Clean Install On D630 -- Am I Missing Any Important Drivers?
Jan 20, 2009I just got my Seagate Momentus 7200.3 320GB hard drive today. I don't have any external cases I could use to do a backup image and I wanted to do a clean install anyway since I haven't done one to this system since I bought it.
I've tried using Dell's driver disc that came with the system but it's out of date.
The Web site has been a mess as well. Selecting through the service tag Dell is offering drivers for hardware that was never part of this machine and hardware that is apart of it isn't listed unless I look at all D630 drivers.
