Can we expect HP to release ANY driver updates in near future? The drivers present in the Downloads Page are 3 years old and these two devices aren't working properly with the drivers present in their respective manufacturer websites.Hope to get a quick reply.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI am running Win 8.1 x64 (up-to-date) on HP Pavilion 1322TX laptop. There are  Intel HD Graphics 3000 and ATM Radeon HD 7450M two graphic cards as the device manager window. Recently I am getting blue screens and later message appear saying the ATM driver stopped working. I found many problems with this driver in the past as well. When I check the relevent page for my laptop model, there is no update since 2012..
Can I update these two drivers seperately by getting updates from Intel and AMD sites?Â
Is there any update for catalyst control system (CCC) ?Â
When I try to update through the CCC or HP Support Assist, it is always no updates..

I just bought a new DV7T 2000 and would like to replace the hard drive that came with the computer with a new one. I am researching about putting XP on it and looking for the necessary drivers prior to the installation. I need help locating the graphic card driver, it's the brand new ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4530 512MB. I was looking all over the web and there was no info about it. View 5 Replies View RelatedJust got my new FW CTO in the mail today and am loving it. I've spent some time downloading Windows Updates (I ordered Vista Business 64 with Fresh Start) and have been attempting to see if there are updated drivers for the HD 4650 1GB card that I have.
The version I have right now is: 8.583.2-090302a-076759C-Sony
Using Catalyst's "Update Driver" link (essentially a link to AMD's website) I was surprised to not see ANY Mobility HD 3000 or 4000 series drivers at all. Are there newer drivers than the ones that shipped with my laptop? If so, where can I download them?
Also, is it really very important to partition your drives?
Lastly, any chance that ArmaII will run on this?

I just got my dv6-1131ea, one of the reasons was so I could have better gaming ability with the Radeon card, now I'm playing the Sims 3 and all I get is the following message when I start it up:
"We strongly recommend that you update your video driver"
Which is all well and good but I have the latest driver, there is nothing new on the HP site, or via HP Update, or Windows Update. If I try and install the latest catalyst package it tells me that I already have the most up to date driver.
The game is pretty choppy even at low settings, I have expected it to be much smoother than it actually has been, It's just not smooth and when I scroll around I get choppyness, I'm guessing it's to do with the video drivers but how the hell can I update them when I already have the latest?

I installed Windows 8 Enterprise 64-Bit Edition. I am facing is that I am not able to install the drivers for R5 M230 Graphics. I updated the BIOS, tried downloading latest drivers from AMD website too. Still, the system is just not recognising the hardware. It is showing up as Video Controller. When i tried to install nvidia driver thinking that it would be the supportive driver "hardware not supported" message appeared. What can i do to increase my dedicated graphics or my laptop doesn't have dedicated graphics.

I've decided to try and play some games on it, only to find out I have some serious problems with it..
I've tried two different games, and the result is the same in both - the computer will hang about 1 minute after launching the game and only hard shutdown is possible (holding the power button)..

View 3 Replies View Relatedi recently purchased the above notebook and tried to play some games but i am getting error that my graphic card drivers are either not installed properly or they are missing altogether, i had installed drivers from AMD's autodetect driver tool. Earlier i had installed AMD drivers from windows update but the problem still exists. In the game i am getting memory insufficient error, unable to change graphics and display settings. Game crashes giving me error message as to update my AMD graphic drivers.

I tried changing settings through BIOS setup, but no such (Advance/Display)setting were available? I tried setting the app to high performance too through 'Configue Switchable Graphics' option but no success. which drivers i need to install or what i need to do to work my AMD Radeon Card.
So at first I was confused but now I understand. First official, completely top to bottom support for all mobility cards (in the specified range of course) will come out with 10.3. What they didn't say that SOME mobility cards will be already supported with 10.2 and our " Dell (Studio XPS 16 Mobility Radeon HD 4670)" is on that list.
This was posted in another thread, but this wasn't the focus. They also have beta 10.3s...but I thought it was neat that official 10.2 WHQL certified drivers supported our card ....

I recently changed my window from 8 to 7 ultimate and i noticed my grahics adapter has changed from AMD radeon 8650G to standard VGA graphics adapter. Why is that and how do i change it?
should i install the latest bios driver a08 from the dell site? i dunno in these things and i wanna know if it's recommended and known to not screw things up, and if i even need it

i have the aspire 7720g (t7500, 4gb ram, 2 hard disks of 250gb etc) for2 years now....
problem number 1) i just installed windows 7 rtm home premium 32bit and the scroll control on synaptics isnt working, is there any newer driver for synaptics touchpad?
problem number 2) i noticed that from the time i updated bios to 1.45 if i work the cpu in the highest level or even in the middle!, the temperature rises from 70 degrees (on startup!) to 90-100 degrees in 1-2 minutes....i cant work anymore....
yesterday i had to upgrade from vista to windows 7 and i had the laptop directly under the aircondition with the cover open, upside down for 2 hours! the two times i tried to upgrade without doing that the laptop after the first boot (so it uses full of power) after 30-40 seconds shuts down!)
to avoid shutting down itself i did lots of things, i set the cpu speed to the lower option and i work there all the time with a lot of patience of course...........
the things i did to check if all work fine:
tried to clean the fan...ok...nothing changed, fan has no dust and working properly
changed thermal paste with artic silver 5 on cpu and graphics card...ok...nothing changed, maybe earned 10 seconds before its shutting down.... put previous
bios....ok...nothing changed i didnt undervoltaged yet the cpu because i want to see what is the fault with the machine...
Have a hp sleekbook 15-b142dx and down graded from windows 8 to windows 7. Can't find the right driver to make the two USB 3.0 ports work. The 2.0 USB port works just fine.
