HP Pavilion 15-n041se Display :: Computer Does Not Meet Minimum Requirements For Installing Software
Apr 14, 2013
I'm having a problem in installing Graphic driver on win 7 64.When I tried to install intel HD graphic driver, I got the following message: "the computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software." and when am trying to install nvidia driver, it say that I have to install intel driver first.
I have an HP Pavilion dv5 that cam,e with Win 7 Home Premium. I have upraded the OS to Win 7 Ulitimate.
I now am going to sell the dv5 and want to install the Win 7 Ultimate Upgrade on a different computer. Do I have to deactivate the Win 7 Ultimate upgrade license, or can I just restore the dv5 to factory condition using the Recovery Drive .
And then just install the Win 7 Ultimate Upgrade on another computer?
I was initially trying to get my DVD to play blu rays. I downloaded a different player and uninstalled the HP mediasmart dvd. This didn't work so I deleted the new player and went into restore system to an earlier time and did so. After I restarted my computer it began randomly turning off and by that I mean the screen. It goes black. I click enter or left clidk the mouse (this seems to prompt it) then after 5 seconds or so the lights on the right side start blinking and the display returns. This has happened before and I forget the solution. Also, my battery died about a month ago so I removed it.
I'm having trouble with HP pavilion TouchSmart 14 . My computer turns on and allows me to log in to my to log into my profile but from then on it doesn't allow me to go to my desktop it's just blank
My HP Pavilion dvr-1200 CTO Entertainment Notebook PC has a huge problem. It will not display anything other than a set pattern of rotating block colors -it goes from red to blue to green to a shadow sort of grey with vertical lines, each lasting about ten seconds, than repeating over and over. You can hear the computer starting up, and you can get it to the start page by knowing when to press enter and when to scan your fingerprint; this is as far as I can get without seeing. I've had the problem for about two months; the unfortunate thing is after about a week, I decided to hook up a external monitor to it, and got a full picture, with everything but the screen display working great. Unfortunately, in excited haste, I decided it had to be a graphics driver issue, which would just mean an update or a completely new set of drivers. Great. But I accidentally deleted the drivers I had before I uploaded new ones, and the external screen I was using went blank.
Brightness Hot Keys are not working after installing Win 8.1 x64. Along with this Touchpad Lock also not working. I am using Pavillion G6 2225TU Note Book x64 bit.
What would one need to install one or two 1.8" drives into an Envy that came with a 2.5" drive origionally. I'm a bit confused since 2.5" drives are regular SATA connections, however, 1.8" drives are microSATA. That seems to be the 1.8" drives bracket must also include microsata adapter(s)? Or are there just 3 ports in the drive bay?
What bracket is need and where to purchase? Or does it come with the laptop (it should, IMO.) or is no bracket needed?
I found this at HP: [url]
is that the right bracket, or is it the bracket that comes with the 160gb SSD replacement part? "160GB 1.8" SSD with bracket"
I have just purchased a brand new HP 15-d035dx laptop as a Bundle from BestBuy. Pre-installed with Windows8.1 OS (my first time using it) and i immediately rejected it and decided to install my copy of Windows 7 Pro. I took all the necessary steps into successfully installing Windows 7. Disabling Secure Boot and Enabling Legacy Mode. I cleaned my partitions through Clean Diskpart. I had all the drivers i needed for Windows 7 saved onto a CD knowing my USB and WiFI drives won't work. I have only been able to install the Drivers for the sound, mouse and internet. Everything else fails, so I entered BIOS and I have very limited options to mess around with and I noticed something. It shows default OS is Win8.1 and my heart dropped. This meant that everything I just did was for absolutely nothing. But I am not taking no for an answer. There must be a way to override this issue and get Windows 7 working perfectly with no problems.
I was looking at the advanced power settings today and saw that while Plugged In on High Performance, the minimum processor power was set to 100%. Why is that? Shouldn't I keep it at 5% and the max at 100%?
I have a HP G62 B01ET with Windows 7 Home Basic 64 bit and i have been using this computer for about 4 years and suddenly i got the black screen problem when i start my computer and when i disable my video drivers using safe mode i can use the computer on normal mode but it gets really slow and runs on a lower resolution and updating my drivers, bios etc.
It seems like the temperature readings from both cores of my P8400 on my Dell Latitude E6500 running Windows 7 RC have some sort of minimum built into them. The reported temperatures will never drop below 32 for Core 0, and 39 for Core 1. Even after I resume from suspend, when the CPU should be at room temperature, as soon as I boot up it's 39/32. Similarly, while temperatures above that on SpeedFan show normal fluctuations, like you expect from a CPU temperature reading, once it hits the floor, it just becomes a flat straight line.
I'm not sure if this is the sensors, the software, or what.
This notebook runs fans as soon as you start it, and it runs faster 5 minutes later even if it stays idle. The noise is too much. I don't care about performance, I just want it to run at minimum fan speed. I just need to be sure it won't melt. I don't see a setting in BIOS. What can I do? If I open it up and unplug the fans, will it melt or burn to destruction? Or how can I but a notebook cooler tray-thingy when the seller doesn't allow me to try and listen to the sound the thing makes?
I just bought a new HP 15-r011dx Notebook with Windows 8.1 OS. It is running great except for when I try to watch videos. When the video buffers, the entire computer freezes, and the computer makes loud noises-like it is stuttering/chopping. It makes videos unviewable because of how often it happens. This problem happens on both Internet Explorer and Google Chrome. In addition, my internet connection is fine and I have installed all updates.
Video Drivers for this model are have not update since 2012!When I try too update from default AMD CCC(WHQL), the computer does not detect the driver and the system is very slow. For me it is very important to update the CCC though, would be to version 13.
I have Latitude D630 that has been having graphics issues. I reinstalled the graphics drivers previously by booting through the CD, and that temporarily solved the issue, but not my computer refuses to display anything upon startup. I can hear windows booting up, but I get a blank screen. I've tried booting from the CD like I did last time, but it hasn't worked.
I ran the mute button + power button diagnostic and it's giving me a code I've been unable to identify.
The code is:
Num Lock + Caps Lock + Scroll Lock blink 3 times with an accompanying tone, which remains the same.
This happens three times.
Then I get a quicker and higher pitched series of fives beeps that go in tone: low-medium-high-medium-low. Accompanying this, the following light sequence occurs:
Num Lock, Num Lock + Caps Lock, Num Lock + Caps Lock + Scroll Lock, Num Lock + Caps Lock, Num Lock
This sequence also repeats itself three times. Then the entire pattern begins again.
When I "restart" my Y500 using windows 8.0, it takes a minimum of 15 minutes. Sometimes, if I have time to wait, it takes more than one hour. 90% of the time, I restart it using the on/off button. No problems at all using the button, but the software takes a VERY long time or won't restart at all--just the green screen with the word "restart."
I'm trying to burn a CD from my Pavilion G6 notebook and when I try in iTunes I get the error message "Disk burner or software not found". I then tried in Windows Media Player, because sometimes iTunes updates do more bad than good and I recently updated iTunes. In Windows Media Player I get this message..."Connect a burner and restart the player". I've never had a problem burning music from my comp to a CD before and often do to use in my car. Why my computer suddenly stopped allowing me to make CDs.
I'm planning on buying a new laptop soon and have been going through some of the threads regarding the HDMI port and I am a bit confused.
I would like to be able to take a 1080p/5.1 BD or .mkv on my laptop and connect it to my AV receiver via HDMI which then outputs 1080p/5.1 to my HDTV/speakers. I have no idea what minimum video card/sound card/processor is required for this.
Over the past year I have had my laptop computer, a Pavilion g7 Windows 8, and it has been fine for about 5 months, but after that it started to overheat at times and give me the link [URL] ...... After that it has become more frequent and it shuts off 2-5 times a day. Depending on how long it has been used.
When the battery is very low like say 10%, no warning comes up saying that the battery is running low, instead my laptop chips out and it doesnt hibernate or sleep so whatever i do that isn't saved is lost so these days when the battery is low i plug it in and i can continue working. my laptop is a hp pavillion g6 2237nr and it got a pretty bad fall about a year ago but it was working fine up to now.Ialso want to know, if i do have to replace my hardrive will my intel core i3 processor go with it?
I've got a Pavilion g6 2215so.The computer sometimes hangs at startup and the only way to go around it is to unplug the battery and start it up without it.
I thought that maybe there are some newer BIOS drivers or firmware that would solve this.
But I cannot find the drivers for this model at all at the support site.I've tried to have the system identified as well but it doesn't come up with anything really.
I had an HP Pavilion dv6, but some part inside relating to the power failed. Ultimately, the constant cutting of power caused my hard drive to fail. I was able to use HP Recovery Manager to back up my files (music, documents, pictures, etc.). For Christmas, I was gifted a new computer, but it is not an HP. I tried to restore my backup file to my computer but it says that HP Recovery failed. I'm guessing the issue is because the new computer is Lenovo Thinkpad and doesn't have the HP Recovery software. How can I restore my files to my new computer?
