HP Pavilion G6-2237us OS/Software :: Realtek Local Area Network And Synaptics Touchpad Driver?
Jul 28, 2014
i have tried to installed the apps but i cant. the hp support assistant warned me that an important action was needed and on opening to check on the action, i found out that the synaptics touchpad and the realtek local area network had failed to install. both were on the failed items sections and i then redownloaded them through the same hp support assistant. the process went on smoothly and then stopped on the installation section. both the apps are now displayed in the conpleted actions and failed actions boxes. how can i successfully install these programmes?
I had this problem with local internet area disconnecting and reconnecting (one second it shows it is enabled, other ethernet cable is unplugged, and that keeps repeating), which was caused by Ubuntu, I highly suspect. So I updated Bios to A11 and it charmingly fixed everything.
However, problem arose again. I've installed Ubuntu again on dual boot and tried updating Nvidia drivers which did not work well and broke Ubuntu again, which caused this internet problem again on windows 7 somehow (yes, this happened for second time . But this time I can't update Bios, or overwrite it's update).
I did not expect that after bios update this would happen again. I tried downloading various drivers from dell driver support. So, is there a way to overwrite same version of Bios, or (downloading some sort of drivers i might have mist, ect.?)
I have an HP Pavilion 14-b130sa, running windows 8. Last night I switched my laptop off after using it all day for writing an essay, when I then turned the laptop back on about 3 hours later, I could no longer scroll using the touchpad. My laptop won't let me run or look at the synaptics 7.5 drivers or any of the files, as it just says they cannot be found.
I have tried re-installing the drivers, but this does not seemed to have worked.
Is there any way to disable the "click" feature on the main part of the touchpad? Like if I tap my finger on the touch pad I do not want it to act as if I had left-clicked...
remember reading that the SXPS 16 has a Synaptics supported touchpad or something in it, meaning you can use some multi-touch gestures like pinch zoom etc. Can anyone clear this up for me? Do you have to do anything to enable the additional gestures? Will i need to download some more drivers or something (i haven't gotten my laptop yet.) What gestures will i be able to do with (or without) the driver (if there is one.)
newtwork controller driver is not installed and wireless is not listed in hp 2000-2116tu".I need to do is list the hardware id's for the network controller. I have a yellow ! in front of the network controller and also two unknown devices listed below the network controller.
I immediately noticed after working sometimes the touchpad area, specially the right hand top corner becomes alarmingly hot and I feel burning sensation on my finger tips.
It is the area where WLAN.WPAN,WI-LAN are present. There is also an Intel chipset, perhaps IO controller.
I immediately called DELL technical support and they sent me the DELL engineer. After monitoring the system for sometimes he decided to replace the motherboard, heat sink, fan assembly and thermal pad.
After replacement I am finding the scenario haven't changed and this time along with touchpad the mid area of keyboard is also getting warm.
Reading loads on the internet about this Vista Local Access Only... Recently moved property and now guess what this PC cannot connect over wireless, ever other device does.
Tried configuring IPv4 only etc etc, still have issues.
Is there an easy link to check the latest driver for the Notebook, HP support section does not seem to make it easy to locate and download?
Anyone know something about if dell xps at least that ones sold in 2008 will support those new drivers with gesture control??
I know its a really soon but it says that it already has support for it.. and checking the driver section the drivers there are from last December. Dell support has nothing new neither.
I have a HP Pavilion dv7-6187cl Notebook and my Network Controller has seemed to quit working. I have tried numerous solutions and none of them have worked. I recently did a factory image restore on my PC, but before I did the most recent restore, I did the same thing and tried to update the driver and it worked like a charm. This time, its not so easy.
My Network Controller Hardware IDs are: PCIVEN_14E4&DEV_4727&SUBSYS_145C103C&REV_01PCIVEN_14E4&DEV_4727&SUBSYS_145C103CPCIVEN_14E4 &DEV_4727&CC_028000PCIVEN_14E4&DEV_4727&CC_0280
i have HP PAVILION G7-1201EM os is windows 7 (32-bit) i cant find driver for network controller this message is in network controller propertertis The drivers for this device are not installed.
I am missing the network driver as well and have tried installing it many times but still no luck. I have an HP Pavilion DV7 - 2110sa Laptop running Windows Vista.
My touch pad driver recently stopped working the other day. I had not noticed because I always use my VX Nano, but I was out of the house with the laptop for once and had no pointing device when I booted up.
I re-downloaded the Synaptics driver that I had installed previously, but it didn't work. I had to install the Dell driver to get it to work, but on install I noticed it saying it was an Alps, not a Synaptics.
What gives with this? I even remember seeing other posts on here saying to forgo the Dell driver when installing windows and to use the Synaptics driver............................
I am really curious if any other 1340/1640 users have run into a similar situation.
The problem:
when typing on the lappy, sometimes the text jumps to wherever the I beak of the cursor is. At first i thought i was accidentally touching the touchpad with the base of my thumb, but now i'm sure thats not the case
I've already tried uninstalling dells drivers, using the drivers from synaptics website, changing the sensitivity of the touch pad, using the touchpad with no drivers at all (windows drivers only)...
I have a Vaio SR 190 and i'm trying to use the Google Code for two finger scrolling. I have a synaptics touchpad v7.0 with Driver 10.2.4
I have Chiralmotion and momentum enabled but the google code program keeps saying "Driver support for multiple fingers is already enabled but the driver still doesn't report multiple fingers
I have purchased Dell Inspiron 15R 5520 i7 few months back. It is working fine, I now I fell that my system gets heated up a lot early and too much. Particularly, around the touchpad area. I have also noticed that regardless of the heating up, the cooling fan runs so slow. I assume, it should speed up when the system is getting hotter, but it does not.
I can't seem to get the ethernet port working on a dv6700 I'm refurbishing. I've installed the drivers from the HP support website, as well as installing the chipset drivers. The device status gives me an error code 39 and says that the driver is either missing or corrupted. The thing is, I can't uninstall the driver or even disable it. I haven't tried booting into linux to see if it works in there though...
Somehow my Synaptics Touchpad on my Compaq V2000 (Model 2402) got zapped today and will not power on at all. This is different than the usual driver problem that makes you think it is turned off. I was tightening up a screw that is close to the pad itself while it was running and the notebook suddenly just turned off. Everything is fine but the touchpad will not power on. It was getting pretty useless regardless. I have been using a regular usb mouse most of the time for almost a year now but still need the touchpad for the obvious. ANyone here replace their pad? I haven't found one used or new yet.
I got this Aspire 5560G about three years ago and it was running Windows 7. I recently upgraded to Windows 8.1 and have managed to find and install all the drivers I need for my lapop to run smoothly, except for the touchpad.
Although it works for moving the cursor and double-tapping to open files etc, it doesn't work to scroll pages. I have tried downloading the latest driver on the Acer Drivers page but it doesn't change any features.
I've just done a clean install of Windows 7 64bit and installed the latest Realtek HD driver (2.42) from their site, selected 5.1 in the sound properties through Windows and Audio Manager but when I playback media the sound is still tinny and only 2.0.
I haven't installed anything else and let Windows find the other drivers for my 9600M GS etc
This is the second time I've installed the OS as facing the same problem before and thought it might have been a corrupt installation or something.
if there's any new realtek drivers for the 6920g, Ive done multiple search's myself and came up with nothing
I ask because whilest playing games or just listening to music every so often (well pritty regulary actualy) the sound just becomes verry distorted and unplayable untill I restart the app/game. I have tryed to install the latest official realtek driver 2.06 (not acer's version), I now know this was'nt the smartest of moves on my part as the sound then became verry tinny witch i now know was because the normal realtek driver's dont account for the ''tuba'' in acers.
I recently bought Dell Inspiron 15 5547 with Ubuntu.
When I installed Windows 7, I receive error message "Synaptics TouchPad 64-bit Enhancements has stopped working." Wen I close this my touchpad start working erratically. While typing cursor moves itself without touch or click.
The driver given on Dell site under Windows 7 is same as for Windows 8. I also tried drivers from Synaptics website but nothing worked.
So since I've bought this computer I've had problems with the two-finger scrolling suddenly stopping, like many people have. That's always been fixable by going into properties, device settings, settings, unchecking/rechecking one of the boxes under "two finger scrolling" and hitting OK.
Now, though, my touchpad is suddenly stuck on one finger scrolling, and it's super annoying. There is no "one finger scrolling" option under the "scrolling" drop down thingy under device settings, so I haven't a clue why this is happening. I've tried the usual fix above, restarting the computer, installing new drivers, but it still does one finger scrolling. Which means it scrolls a lot of the time when I don't want it to, and the pointer seems to get "stuck" at times when I'm just trying to move it around.
I get random crashes and the apparent crashes I get all relate to this error message:
Realtek RTL8168/8111 Family PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet NIC (rtlh86.sys, rtlh64.sys)
This problem was caused by a missing driver for Realtek RTL8168/8111 Family PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet NIC (rtlh86.sys, rtlh64.sys), which was created by Realtek Semiconductor Corp.
According to the spec sheet for my laptop and Hp's website this is what I have on my laptop: Realtek RTL8101 Family PCI-E Fast Ethernet NIC rather than the 8168.
Could this conflicting information be the source of the problem? How come Windows shows a different NIC to the HP website? I've tried to download the driver off the Realtek website but I find the website frustratingly annoying and basically pants (for such a global player)!
