View 3 RepliesIs there a way to make an audio cd... i have mp3's and want to put them on a blank disc, but be able to play it in a cd player, not as mp3's.

Dell lists the M4500, E6410, and E6510 as having "multitouch trackpads".
Does anyone here know what the gestures are, and can you list them?
I'm wondering if it's possible and/or worth it to upgrade to a E6410 palmrest when it becomes available to get the gestures.
I tried to install the E6410 drivers (apparently an Alps pad as well) on my E6400 but I didn't get anything new...
I want to convert a WMA file to MP3. What should I use to do this?

Does it have two finger scrolling and browsing? Is it as smooth as MBP?
Is there any way to have multitouch gestures like two finger scroll etc in our 8930 synaptics trakpad?
I think it's sad for such a complete and ahigh end laptop not having something that a small netbook have (asus eeepc 1000) ..
I think that ACER MUST do something ..

This is good news for Apple. For the consumers this is somewhat problematic. This might increase multi touch product price. Is this the end of cheap multi touch phones? Touchpad notebooks?
More specifically, I am trying to convert flv to mp3, but I of course want as many conversion options as possible.

View 4 Replies View RelatedThe brand new multitouch worked for 2 days while I was setting up the laptop and my files. I played with it for about an hour tonight. The X230T was running on battery, I plugged in the power cord, and the screen became totally unresponsive. As insensitive as a school bully in a bridal shower.
Per instructions at [URL] .... -- I'm running Windows 7, 64bit -- I uninstalled and reinstalled the ISD multitouch driver, 7wge69ww.exe. No go.
The only input device that now works is the mouse -- not the pen, not a finger.
Considering that my other X230 was sent to the shop last week (with a second dead motherboard in less than a year), I'm starting to wonder about Lenovo.
I have a HP touchsmart envy 15 and I am trying to restore computer to factory default. About 6 months ago, the computer said I could make a boot disc and be able to use that to restore my computer to factory and after I make the boot disc, I can delete the recovery partition as it will be stored on the disc. So I went ahead and make the disc (it turned out to be 4 discs) and the computer deleted the partition. Now I am here trying to use the discs to restore to factory, however, my optical drive isn't detected when the bios is booting. Because of this I need to turn those 4 discs into a bootable USB thumb drive. I have looked all over and there are many different ways of converting 1 disc into usb, but not 4.
View 1 Replies View Relatedso awhile back I bought an Apple refurb 13" MacBook Pro, and I fell in love with the trackpad! So when I bought my CW I was thinking that this is the best trackpad I've felt on a laptop since my mac, and since it was synaptics, they offer great multitouch support (compared to ALPS). After some tweaks and a modded driver installation, I have the closest possible experience that windows can offer compared to the mac. First I downloaded the modified 10.2.4 synaptics multitouch drivers, then installed them. After a quick reboot, I went into the synaptics touchpad settings page on the mouse settings panel on the control panel.
Start>Control Panel>Mouse>Device Settings>Settings ... then the synaptics control panel should come up..
Under the scrolling tab I left all the checkboxes checked...
I disabled "Pinch Zoom" (ugh, thats annoying on windows, mac got that one right..)
I disabled ChiralRotate
I turned up the touch sensitivity just a tad bit...
I disabled "Momentum"
I disabled "EdgeMotion"
All "Pointing Enhancements" disabled
"Buttons" are enabled
"Tapping" is enabled
And finally "Two-Finger Flick" is ENABLED......................
Is it normal that dell.ca would have fewer choices of screens than dell.com? I'm looking at the studio 15, and dell.com lists Hi Resolution/Bright,
glossy widescreen 15.4 WLED display (1440x900) as a choice, which is what I want, but dell.ca doesn't. When I view the system specs though, that choice is listed as on option.
I have a Dell Latitude E6530 and when I plugged in my monitor and keyboard into the docking station, they were not recognized. But I can plug them into the laptop while docked and they are recognized.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Dell Inspiron N5010 purchased about 2 and a half years ago. I was just deleting some random programs which I don't ever use, and accidentally clicked on uninstall Dell Data Safe Local Back up.

my laptop vostro 3460 won't boot any more. When I turn it on it loads the Dell logo (I suppose it passes the POST) but then it just shows a black page. It could be anything, but I guess that it may have something to do with Windows 8 and the UEFI system. I also would be quite happy to install linux mint and get rid of Windows, but I don't know how to change the boot priority order.
So my questions are:
1 is it a hardware issue ? if not, can I solve my problem easily ?
2 how can I change the boot priority order, to install mint ?
