I can not install WiFi driver for Dell Lattitude E5530, Windows 7 Professional 64-bit.InstallShield Wizard aborted with this message:"This platform is not compatible with Intel(R) WiDi or the application is in use."I downloaded all drivers after giving the Service Tag of my laptop and installed then in the correct order. Only WiFi driver failed to install.
I own a Dell Latitude E5530, which I bought used off eBay, and it was wiped to protect previous owner information, however, the owner did not reinstall Windows. I am getting the "C Prompt" as pictured below, and I would like to know how to reinstall Windows.
How to reinstall Windows with this popping up after BIOS?
When I first got my laptop, I was able to play all the CDs in order to download my software, etc. However, now it won't recognize any CD I put in or launch anything. I'm trying to install an Epson printer and I put in the software CD. Nothing will happen. I can hear it whiring and I keep thinking that it'll launch but nothing does. This is what it looks like with the CD in:
Doesn't even show up on the side bar. I can't have a laptop that can't even recognize CDs or DVDs.
We are having a serious problem with the battery that we replaced for one of the Dell laptops. The Laptop model is Dell Latitude `E5530. We were getting a message that the Battery has to be replaced and we bought this battery from one of the third party vendors.
It ran for 2 weeks and now it comes up with some weird messages. The laptop isn't detecting the battery at all. We had sent the battery back to the vendor but he says the battery works fine at their end.Â
Updated Bios to A12 today, the system stated the updated was successful but after it's auto reboot it longer boots.Â
When you turn the system on the screen stays powered off (nothing on the screen, and no back light). The HD and WiFi lights stay on, the battery light flashes.
I've tried removing the battery and powering with just the mains adapter, I get the same problem.
how I can activate the keyboard backlit light. Was part of my build. Tried Fn + right arrow and cntl + right arrow, but no change. I have latitude E5530 win 8.
I use latitude E5530 Now, which have two hidden partition, one is no name, and it is 39MB and it have 100% space didn't use, ( OEM partition). Another one is called Recovery and it as 752MB and it is NTFS format and in the brackets it says system, active, main partition.
So what is the function of those two partition?
Can I delete the recovery partition? cause I need change a hard drive and I will made a recovery image.
Okay, I can't get the "feature" of the touchpad to work where it "disables when a USB mouse is present"
Reason:Â There is a perpetual bluetooth mouse appearing in the device manager.
I actually have 3 mouse devices listed: Touchpad, HID-Compliant (bluetooth), and HID-Compliant (Wifi). Numbers 1 and 3 are correct. Number 2 is not really there,
When I pull the WiFi dongle, the #3 mouse correctly goes away, leaving me with two.
Clearly, the touchpad is detecting a "HID-Compliant" mouse "on bluetooth". BUT THERE IS NO MOUSE PAIRED. I tried to uninstall the bluetooth software from Add/Remove (or whatever Win7 calls it this year), but the device is still there. So I did an "uninstall" of the device in the device manager, and it comes back. (yes rebooting between all attempts)
So, something, somewhere, is claiming to be a mouse on the bluetooth stack. How do I make it go away, since it's not really there? Because it is causing the touchpad software to disable, thinking there is another device.
Additionally, when I forgot my mouse, I tried to activate the touchpad... Do you realize that it is completely *impossible* to manipulate the user interface to the Tochpad applet in the control panel without a mouse in the first place??? You cannot make the "save" button activate. This is the ultimate in poor usage design.
I recently changed from Vista to XP and I have attempted to get all the drivers updated to suit XP however I cannot find the right driver to activate WI FI on this laptop.
so i tried installing from the device manager, from the hp site, from the realtek site, from the ralink site, and nothing. i dont even know what adapter i have because all it says is "network controller". When i try to install it from the device manager it doesnt find anything. when i try to install the downloaded drivers it does its thing then says it didnt install properly, and it will keep saying that.
install files .i had test many files ,it can not install.

I have a Compaq Presario CQ50-108NR and my computer needed a recovery, but I had accidentally formatted that part of the hard drive. So I used my Vista Ultimate disk and fresh installed it on my laptop. Because of this, I have to reinstall all of my drivers on my Laptop.
So, I went to HP's site for the drivers which was here. My priority is to get my wifi/internet working as soon as possible because I can download the rest of the drivers later. So, I download both the Atheros and Broadcom drivers for my laptop. I've installed both of them, but my Laptop still doesn't detect any wifi spots despite there being plenty around me. Also, I keep getting a notification that windows must now install drivers for hardware, yet it when I click auto detect and folder detect (folder where my drivers are), it says unable to find any. Also, here is my wifi card.
I already installed Windows 8.1 64-bits on my laptop and the Wifi Card wasn't already installed. I tried to download the Wifi Card driver and I found 3 drivers :  MediaTek(Ralink) 802.11 Wireless LAN (WLAN) Adapter [URL]....
I've a brand new Dell lattitude 5530 with a Dell wireless 380 Bluetooth Card. I've downloded the driver module recommended by the Dell driver support webpage when I supplied my Sevice Tag. (DW380 Software release Customer installer Version 6.5.1.2410 ). However the module failed to install. The last few lines of the log file are:
[03/27/13 14:26:10]Â Â Â (MUPXMLParser::GetResultName): *** Vendor Return Code is not found in Mup.xml[03/27/13 14:26:10]Â Â Â Name of Exit Code: [03/27/13 14:26:10]Â Â Â (DupAPI::GetReturnCode): *** Unable to find DUP value for: [03/27/13 14:26:10]Â Â Â Exit Code set to: 1 (0x1)[03/27/13 14:26:10]Â Â Â Result: FAILURE
I can't install my integrated webcam. After downloading the driver and opening the file installation starts and then suddenly it just ends with the message there was an error during installing.
So the thing I've done are: installing the drivers, which failed.
I've also looked in the device managemer app but could find anything of a camera.
I have a latitude 3540 . Recently I installed windows 8.1 64 bit on it. All the drivers works except the WiFi. When I am trying to install it its showing a message "The installer cannot run on this platform. Pls select the package for your operating system". Â I tried both older newer versions of the driver package downloaded from dell website.
I have a Dell D630 Latitude laptop that connects to most Wifi Networks, but NOT my home network. In fact, It doesn't even show the network when I pull up area networks. It doesn't show any networks at all. However, when I take it to a Starbucks or McDonalds, I can not only find a network, but I can get on the Internet just fine !Do I have something blocking the network from being seen? Is my virus program Microsoft Essentials blocking the network for some reason?
I have ordered E6400 but I have choosen Intel 5100 wifi card with two antenna port. I heard that this model isn't very good so I'm thinking about the upgrade to Intel 5300 with 3 antenna ports. I have a question about the antenna cables. How many cables are there near the wifi card in latitude with 5100? two or three? If there are only 2 cables, so the upgrade brings me no advantage.
We have found that the latest driver for the Intel Ultimate-N 6300 AGN WiFi adapter for Windows 7 64 bit gives NETwNs64 Event 5060 errors when connecting to WiFi using Radius (Certificate) authentication.
We have tried Network_Driver_597FG_WN_15.01.1000_A02 which is the latest on the Dell web site..We have tried Wireless_15.3.1_Ds64 which is the latest on the Intel web site.We have had to revert to the NIC_DRVR_WIN_R292654 which is version 14.0.1.2 driver which is both stable and does not give errors in the event log. Given that we do not have issues with the version 14.0.1.2 driver, we intend to stay with that until advised otherwise.
Every time I try to reinstall the wifi driver for my Inspiron 15 3521 (driver for Dell wireless 1704 version 10.0.0.200) the install fails with a not very useful error message.
the 1704 installs ok but the 1705 reports an error and doesn't install at all. Normally should they install both? Each of them does a different thing ? Why are there two drivers for same thing?
Doing a clean install of Vista and keep getting prompted to locate and install driver for "Coprocessor". Have looked in device manager (yellow mark) but I just don't know what it is. Windows says it can't locate software for it.
Don't know what I am looking for on Acers site under drivers, installed all other stuff OK, Realtek, NVidia etc. Could it be a modem driver. Properties in device manager give no clues, it's listed as "other devices" along with the webcam which I have to sort drivers out for too.
I've been having issues with this with this utility either not connecting upon resuming my laptop or even from a fresh start. I visit many offices at I am the IT manger and all the connections are saved in profiles but despite them being saved they won't connect even when I try to connect manually. The only way to get the adapter to connect is to right click Proset running in the tray and click "reset proset". Even now while typing this I am connected via wifi but the proset icon shows "connecting"
I've tried updating the wifi adapter drivers from Dell and Intel directly and also completely removed the drivers and re-installed them but I am still having the same issue.
Running two Toshiba 32L2300U 32" tv's that have VGA connections. Â Since the eport only has one VGA connection the other is connected with a DisplayPort to VGA adapter.
I need to work from home on two monitors, not the laptop in a dock with the lid open and one TV screen. (Internet is restored when I open the lid as it's in the dock but only one monitor works.
