View 2 RepliesI have not used my webcam for a while, but recently updated Skype. When I went to use the web cam it was not detected. When I try Cyberlink Ucam it says no webcam detected. I checked the driver in Device Manager and it is ok. I used HP Recovery Manager and reinstalled the Cyberlink software but it is still undetected. Is there some keyboard switch for the camera or something simple that I am missing??
View 8 Replies View RelatedA few days before I was going to shipping my Studio 15 off. I looked in the box and low and behold I found the Dell Webcam Center disk that I originally thought that Dell had forgotten to include.
Upon installation I found that the specific version of Dell WC that came with my Studio 15 is not the same one that you find at the downloads center on support.dell.com.
I could never get the downloaded Dell WC to work, even after numerous chats with technical support. No matter how many times I contacted Dell about this, they claimed there is only one version of Dell Webcam Center. Clearly that isn't true .....
Just purchased my new Pavilion dv7, and when I run the You Cam software, it tells me my HP TrueVision HD webcam is not detected. I have tried at this for several days now, at one point when I was trying to fiddle with the You Cam settings, the webcam light turned on for aprox. 2 seconds and then went dead again, since then it won't even let me into the YouCam settings.
Right now I'm becoming more and more convinced that this is due to my laptop being assembled outside the US. Need a fix for this immediately.
i have brought this HP 15-r007tx Notebook PC & installed windows 8.1. i got all the drivers for it except webcam driver.i installed cyberlink youcam driver it shows "no webcam detected".
imaging device is not listed in device manager,i think there is a software or driver for hp truevision hd webcam as i have seen in another same laptop since its not installed in my laptop maybe webcam is not detected.
I have a dv6-7010us hp laptop and every time I try to use the webcam it says that no device is detected and I need to turn it on. I am pretty sure I have the latest software for youcam. I can not find the webcam anywhere in my programs or devices. I need turning it on and finding it?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have an integrated webcam and my HP Pavilion dv6 now shows this message with a yellow triangle "no webcam installed". How do I fix? My HP Pavilion is really starting to fail. Cyberlink won't let me update software because it claims I don't have the full version. Didn't HP install the full version with my laptop?

My ex has a brand new HP 15-g012dx that came with Windows 8, but has driver support for Win7 x64.She has all the driver files, but none will install; they lack Setup installers as far as I can tell. There is no Chipset driver, so PNP/autodetect will not function. So, how do I install these manually? Essentially, I've unzipped them one-at-a-time to a folder. She has Windows 7 Home x64.
View 5 Replies View RelatedLong story short, the battery likes to play games as to when it is or isn't detected. If I plug it in to the charger before booting it tends to recognize the battery, but frequently when simply turning on the G505s it'll just not detect the battery (I tried seeing if it was detected in the Lenovo Solution Center in addition to the battery meter; it wasn't). It runs on battery, but it's incredibly irritating to have no info as to how much of a charge is left.
I just got this laptop yesterday, and I upgraded the BIOS firmware, and am currently running Windows 8.1.
I own a HP Pavilion G series laptop and have windows 8.1 running on it. Windows just made me finish an update after which it is not detecing my battery anymore. At first, it said: "Plugged in but not charging". Hence, I shutdown the computer, removed the battery and plugged it back in. Now it just says: "No battery is detected".
I should mention that I am not using the original battery that came with the laptop. It is an extended battery which was working fine until the update.
Now, its switching the message between: "No battery is detected" and " Plugged in but not charging"
Recently upgraded to windows 8.1 and since then no bluetooth being detected in device manager.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI used a Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit installation DVD to replace Windows 7 Professional 64-bit on my Elitebook 8740w. In the end, I used a clean installation as the upgrade option ended up with a fail error. However, after doing the clean install, it can't detect any wifi. What drivers am I likely to need to download and re-install?
View 8 Replies View RelatedThe battery icon in Windows 8 just started saying "No battery is detected".
The system seems to run fine on the battery. I tried rebooting, but that did not change anything.
When plugged in, the icon shows that it is plugged in, but still says "No battery is detected".
It does not look like I can remove and replace the battery without taking things apart.
my Windows is not able to boot and I have to repair it with a Windows Vista DVD taken from another Dell (Desktop) PC. The installation is not able to detect a drive and so I am not able to select a Windows installation to repair. I need the drivers for the Harddisk (or controller) to add it to the repair process. The problem is that on the Driver support page only firmware for the hard drive is available but no .inf file that I need for the repait.
where I can find the .inf file or if it is possible to extract the file from the destroyed windows installation (via live-linux).
All I have just recently re-installed windows 8.1 to my Acer Aspire ES1-711-C231 laptop, the touchpad was working fine before but since the re-install it is no longer recognised/detected by windows 8.1. I have download the device driver from the support page (Elantech touchpad) but still no joy.

1. With the Webcam, it seem gone away without any track. There is no device left without driver in Device Manager and no Webcam among of them.
I try to install driver by running the exe file or install.bat but no effective.
2. The battery die already. There is no problem in Vista but in Windows 7,
an alert message said that Battery is wrong plugged or different type and Sony Event Service always force me to hybernate the system and remove then plug the battery again.
i know this might not be that important but i have W7 installed on my m1530 and when i had vista i can run audio effects and video effects and control the color of my cam...but now i am not able to do that but the cam still works
