Im trying to make a video using Quickplay. I can get the webcam to record .... but when I play back the video, instead of hearing the very interesting things im saying it plays the very annoying "amanda" background music.

View 3 Replies View RelatedWe have a bunch of photos and 2 hours of video. I'm searching for the best software to create some type of dvd with music/photos and video. I've done one of that kind (without videos though) with iDVD last year and the result was great I'd say. A couple of chapters with different photos and songs. If iDVD is a good option, can I add videos in the presentation easily? My video is uncut for now, all in one piece. If there a software to bring it from the camera to the computer and cut parts I don't want, make chapters (smaller movies) and put em in the presentation with the photos (with music).

For the past few weeks, whenever I play video or listen to music, it sometimes stops for a few seconds, plays some sound that sound like static feedback then continues as normal. I have no clue what the issue is. What could it be, and should I send my beloved PC in to get it looked at?
Since I bought it, I have manually put in a Blu-Ray burner, has this affected my warranty?
I also upgraded from windows 7 to windows 8
I have a HP 15-r011dx Notebook PC with windows 8.1 and when on youtube or CNN videos, the speakers carack and pop. The commercials that CNN play prior to the story are fine as is a DVD or my loaded music. I relly do not want to reinstall. I have had the computer 3 weeks and I am not sure if it has been there from the beginning. I have updated everything from HP including BIOS and have tried a different browser and adjusted volume levels. Windows has done updates.

A while ago I did something stupid and tried installing some program that was going to let me record some decent audio using the microphone already installed onto the webcam..

My Studio17 turned up last week and basically ive just been getting used to my new toy, trying out wireless etc.
Anyways in the last two days I decided to see what games the machine, and Vista, would run .....
I have just boight my first Lenovo - a W530 Thinkpad notebook.
The integrated camera works well... but I can ONLY take picture with it.
Is it possible to record some video with the camera? Do I need to install any software or driver?

I've never had a battery that wasn't flush to the surface before and I'm worried that it will be annoying as hell. Especially when I'm resting it on my lap.

When I turn my computer on, it is fine. then I log in, and then everything goes wrong.
I have NO DESKTOP! the background is black, and "my documents" comes up.
going into desktop off of my documents and selecting internet explorer. also I have no start menu or task bar?
an issue I have, regarding video playback. Whenever I watch a video file on my HP DV6T, the playback seems rather grainy.
The video playback seemed much more clearer of a picture on my dv5z, and I am wondering if it has to do with the resolution.
Could this be because of the 16" 1366x768 resolution?
All I want is to be able to watch my movies or video files FULL SCREEN, and in good video quality.

I have a photo on my desktop which i would like to be et as my background image and when i right click and select 'set as background image' it does not appear, the background just stays at blank. However when i tap the windows symbol on the keyboard (which takes us to the tiles) the desktop tile has my background image i selected. But when i click the desktop tile it does not come up.
Also when i go into the control panel, and then under the 'Appearance and Personalization' label, there is the 'Change destop background'. When i click this and select my image, and then click save changes it does not appear.
Also under the same 'Appearance and Personalization' label, when i click the 'change the theme' button, it says the image i selected is set to my desktop background, but it isnt. The background on my desktop is still blank. (blank black).

I have an issue with my 1810tz, Win7 64bit. There are these annoying buzzing noises when I use headphones over audio out. They are corresponding with the CPU load, when the CPU is idling they are louder and constant when the CPU is working they change the buzzing rhythmic but are not gone. I cant really they if they are there too over the build in speakers there is this buzzing sound sometimes, but I guess its the hdd in this case.
Disabling the audio btw does not mute this buzzing noises too. I had this issue maybe 8 years ago on my first desktop with integrated Realtek audio chip, so I guess its a driver issue or bad manufacturing like bad shielding or such. Im using latest Realtek audio drivers.
Few weeks ago I brought the WD blue 640GB, and lately swapped it out and put the old Hard drive back in because the WD was making too much noises. AFter I putting the old one back in here, the OS X starts running at the temperature of 56-58 degree C. The CPU is also running something such that it's used percentage is jumping around 10% and 20 % constantly. I start using it right now, and the upper left corner is getting warmer without running any significant job.

When I double tap and go to change desktop background, it is still pointed to the right folder and all the setting are right so I dunno what is happening.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have my destop wallpaper/background set to change every 30 minutes, pulling from the entire picture library (which is a few gigabytes). I have noticed that every now and then...say, maybe 10-20% of the time. The desktop background goes completely black after the switch. This happens whether the switch is set to Auto or I manually flip the switch (which makes sense, actually).
The only thing that restores the picture to view is logging off and back on. None of the following have any impact or cause the picture to display:Right-clicking on the desktop and selecting.....
I am having white spots on screen. It shows up as a light white spot when the screen has a light background. On a darker screen it totally disappears. The spot is a few mm in size.
My system is lenovo Z50-70. Should i have to replace the screen??
my hp webcam. Whenever i open the hp webcam mediasmart software, a window pops up and says that the webcam either isn't connected, or is being used by another program. I've restarted my computer and it's not being used by anything else, but it still says this.

View 6 Replies View Relatedi got an HP Pavillion Artist's Edition laptop (HP Pavillion dv2700) with a built-in webcam, running Vista. even more recently i decided to try to get a program i could use to record my desktop, just for fun. i tried a program called ManyCam (since it was free). however, it didn't seem to work with Youcam, and when i tried using Youcam, that wouldn't work either. ManyCam froze when i tried to select the webcam as the source, and Youcam simply showed a black screen where i should've been able to see myself. in the end i uninstalled Youcam (i also no longer have quickplay because i was sick of it starting every time i accidentally brushed the button).
after searching for a solution i tried downloading and installing a non-HP driver (Chicony--now the driver shows up as Acer Crystal Eye webcam). this didn't help any. i even tried a different program, Debut Video Capture Software. still no luck (when i select "device" as the source i just get a black screen). i've looked everywhere i could think for a solution but have yet to find one. any help would be greatly appreciated. just ask if any additional information is needed.
ok, here's what i did: i uninstalled the chicony driver, as well as ManyCam and the other program i had installed. i also got skype, on a friend's recommendation. i restarted my computer to install updates. the hp webcam driver seemed to be installed and running fine. skype detected my webcam. however i still got no picture, just a blank/black screen. even on msn. i found a torrent of youcam and installed it, but it keeps telling me there's no video device detected. my webcam is turning on, but beyond that it's still not working.
