HP Envy Dv7t 7200 Networking :: WiFi Not Auto Connecting

Whenever i turn on my laptop it connects to the wi-fi for a brief period of time and then disconnects and i have to reconnect to the network manually. after doing this, it takes an extremely long time to autoconnect and says "connecting to the network is taking longer than usual".
I have the "Intel(R) Centrino(R) Wireless-N 2230" Wi-Fi Card/Adapter and the Driver version is "15.10.3.2" i'm not sure if this is the newest version but i have tried to update and wasn't able to successfully do so.
Also this occurs on any wifi i connect to, even wi-fi that i connect to for the first time takes an extremely long time to connect (2-5 mins).

Ok. My laptop won't connect to the internet. It connectes to the wifi fine but will not connect to the internet. I tried hardwiring and that won't work either. All other devices connect fine. I uninstalled that and it worked fine. I am unable to find that now. The router is a Verizon Fios / Actiontec router M142RWR.
I am running windows 7.

I have been using internet from various sources, but now I want to share internet from my HP Envy M6 n012dx TouchSmart via Wifi Hotspot.. So How do I set up a Wifi Tethering Hotspot connection so that other devices can leech internet from me?
Also, I would like to set up Wifi Direct for file sharing with my Phone..I tired everything in my knowledge.. I even installed Intel PROSet/Wireless Tools Software too for Wifi HotSpot but it's not working either..
By the way, I'm using Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3160..

I have an hp envy m6 laptop. I can not get it to connect to my wifi connection the modem/router are in the same room as the laptop but yet no connection I called Twc (ISP) and no problem on their end.&l;The funny thing is all my other devices (ps3,4,iPhone iPod you name it it picks up the connection) when I use an Ethernet Cable with my laptop but I obviously got to stay In one spotAlso before I forget all all hp/ windows updates have been done so it is current

How do I turn on Wifi with my Envy m6 1117TX laptop? A few days ago, a technician from a mobile wireless provider told me how to turn it off but now I have access to a Wifi connection and I can't remember how to turn it on. I've spent all day trying to find any information on this at all and have come to the conclusion that HP has easily the worst support system for simple questions of any company I've ever encountered.

I recently purchased a PC Hp Envy 17 j106sf and the wifi connection does not work correctly.The wifi speed used to be over 20Mb/s on my old computer and is now under 2Mb/s. The Ethernet works perfectly fine. The wifi card is a Ralink RT3290 802. 11bgn Wi-Fi Adapter. How can I fix my wifi ?

HP ENVY 15-3247nr Notebook PC Windows 8.1 update 1 x64Installed latest drivers available for this model.When I turn it on and I get this [URL] bluetooth adapters. Wifi is off. Wifi button is unresponsive. I have to restart (not shutdown) so I could get: [URL] Bluetooth adapter is present. Wifi its connected automatically. Button its on white color.
Wifi is detected at windows final setup install with native drivers but same happens. Windows update also found a new update on Centrino Advanced-N 6235 drivers. Same problem.Its like something at startup is not loaded but loads successfully on restart.I'm truly puzzled here.

I keep losing WiFi connection. And yesterday I had to do a restore as WiFi completely disappeared from my computer. It just was no longer there. If happens again do I hv to restore again? What is the reason with losing/dropping WiFi connection.

I have an HP Envy m6 laptop with a Qualcomm Atheros AR9485 802.1b/g/n WiFi Adapter.
I have a Belkin DB600 N+ router.
All the phones and pc's on the wifi are fine and picking up the N-band.
My laptop is not. I have Windows 8.1 installed in it. My laptop is running fine on the g-band, and it's seeing all the b and g bands, just not the n-band.
I've updated my wifi adapter driver through the "Update Driver" option on the adapter, and I've also uninstalled and rebooted my wifi adapter driver (to have it reset to the original driver). It's still not picking up the n-band.

I just got a brand new HP Envy. However, i have not been able to maintain a wifi connection. Usually it will not connect to my wifi or will only connect for a few minutes and then say 'limited' and then not connect at all. I did the full windows updates for the computer. I updated the drivers for the wifi adapter. I updated the firmware to my router. I also uninstalled norton. None of these have worked, still will not connect or will connect and drop within a few minutes. My system information is as follows:

The network is running fine, i just cannot figure out what the problem is with this HP Envy.

I just got my new HP ENVY laptop. Product Name: m6-k025dx. It runs on Windows 8 64-bit. I am experiencing sudden, frequent loss of my Wifi connection. When it gets disconnected I don't even get the Connect To slider (which slides from the right side of the screen and shows the list of networks) on clicking the network button at bottom right corner of the screen. I need to restart my laptop to get connected again and after 5-7 minutes, I lose it again.
editing the Power Plan to maximum performance and unchecking "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" but nothing seems to work.
The network driver is Intel Centrino Wireless-N 2230. I have also updated the driver and turned off Bluetooth and ethernet

I have an HP Envy 17-j053ea Notebook running Windows 8.1 64bit. It has an Intel Centrino Wireless-N 2230 network adapter. I am guessing from other posts that this adapter can't handle Windows 8.1 which is why I am continuously losing my wifi connection (other devices not running Windows 8.1 are fine). Is there an update or another driver? installing it and making it work on my notebook?

I have HP Envy M6 1225 dx. The Ralink wifi driver provided with it served me well till a year. But now, i don't due to windows update or something else, i'm having problem with it. Sometimes, the driver works well, but most and most of the time, windows have problem with the driver. It, either mentions " driver or hardware related problem" while i troubleshoot it, or sometimes it doesn't even detect the device in device manager. I even tried reinstalling the driver by the driver which i was provided with the laptop bt the same problem still persists. I'd like to know whether the windows updates is disturbing it because once i'd found the Ralink wifi driver update on the windows update list which had created problem and i uninstalled it. Now i cant find that driver update in the windows updates list.

I am running Windows 8.0 (64bit) and my wifi is not working properly on Battery mode. On AC Adapter, it works 100% perfect but in battery mode, it always goes to Limited Connectivity. Repaired it but 25seconds later it gets the same problem. Limited Connectivity every single time. It's an endless cycle. Warranty has expired and I am not happy with it.
Even if repaired, cannot open any website. Full 5 wifi bars but still the same result. Tried manually (TCP/IP Settings IPv4) but didnt work at all.
My wifi driver is Intel Centrino Wireless N 2230 ( 15.12.0.6 version updated from intel.com website).

Tried everything that I could possibly think off such as disabling Norton Firewall & Running windows firewall but still the same problem.

My HP Envy m6 laptop cannot connect to our wifi connection and only connects using the cable connection, ethernet.
It was still fine when I downloaded windows 8.1 but all of a sudden displays limited/no connectivity. I tried everything I can including resetting tcp ip settings thru command prompt, finding other drivers till someone suggested me to put my laptop back to windows 8. Still didn't fix the problem. Now, my laptop does not access wifi nor detect any wireless connection whether our home wifi, or others.

I have Envy dv6t-7200 Quad Edition notebook and I recently installed Windows 8.1.
I can't seem to find how to enable bluetooth. Some things I can narrow it down to:
1) I am pretty sure that model DOES come with bluetooth (I think I remember using it before, but not 100% sure).
I can't seem to get the specs page of this product, but I bought it directly from HP site ...
2) I downloaded and installed the Qualcomm Atheros Bluetooth driver and Ralink Bluetooth Software driver that I found on the HP Support & Downloads site.
3) I don't have any mention of bluetooth in my Device Manager (generic or otherwise). From first appearance it would seem I don't have bluetooth on my notebook but again, I'm pretty sure I do have.

I have an HP ENVY dv6t-7200 CTO Quad Edition Notebook. I recently had a complete system failure and had to reinstall the Windows 8.1 operating system. Naturally, I lost most of my programs (which I have reinstalled). However, I can't seem to get mt fingerprint scanner to work. I've re-installed the SimplePass software as well as the divers. I tried a hard reset and reinstalled the current validity sensor drive. I still can't seem to get the fingerprint reader to come alive.

I just updated my HP Envy 15t-3000 to Windows 8.1. The first thing I noticed is that all non-Windows programs (Chrome, Digsby, etc) are all gainy.The graphics card installed on my laptop is a ATI Radeon HD 7690M switchable with Intel HD Graphics 3000.
I had the latest HP drivers installed when I had Windows 8 (version 9.0.0.0 for both gpus). The auto driver detecter on the ATI did not work (incompatible hardware). The latest ATI beta drivers made it worse (largest resolution is 720p). Using Windows to update the drivers (both are above 9.0.0.0) caused a driver crash (exclimation mark next to the display adapter in Device Manager).Will HP release official Windows 8.1 drivers for this laptop?

I bought my HP 15 a few days ago and since yesterday (after I restarted it) it can't find my network. Also, sometimes it finds all the surrounding networks, sometimes one or two, sometimes none of them, but it never shows mine.
All my other devices connect to the network just fine and also when I connect the laptop via Ethernet cable internet works normally. I tried reinstalling the adapter and driver, but nothing happens, the problem is still here.

My Acer is detetecting my home wifi but cannot connect. I have the laptop just over a year and this problem has just cropped up.
It detects iPhone hot spot and connect to that.
There is no issue with the home wifi as other devices are coneecting without issue.
