My graphic card is not working with any games. I have already updated graphic driver and also manually reinstalled it but still i am facing same problem. I am using windows 8.1 64 bit .....
i have problem on my laptop (Pavilion DV7-4087CL_. I have windows 7 64 bit , and all drivers is update and special ATI from AMD RADEON LAST Â one. After too many installation i cannot play 3d games or whatever game with my ati.Â
Also DXdiags says INTEL HD not ati amd....
i recently purchased the above notebook and tried to play some games but i am getting error that my graphic card drivers are either not installed properly or they are missing altogether, i had installed drivers from AMD's autodetect driver tool. Earlier i had installed AMD drivers from windows update but the problem still exists. In the game i am getting memory insufficient error, unable to change graphics and display settings. Game crashes giving me error message as to update my AMD graphic drivers.

I tried changing settings through BIOS setup, but no such (Advance/Display)setting were available? I tried setting the app to high performance too through 'Configue Switchable Graphics' option but no success. which drivers i need to install or what i need to do to work my AMD Radeon Card.

My DV4-1465dx has a blank screen. The LED error code is blinking 4 times meaning graphic controller not functional.

Does my laptop have an Intel integrated graphic card? Can I just remove the Graphic card and the problem solved? If not, can I replace it? Which graphic card should I buy?
I recently purchased a HP 15-D103TX laptop, which originally ran Free DOS on it. I have successfully updated my OS to Windows 8, and have installed all the drivers from the HP website. The laptop has dedicated 2GB Nvidia Geforce 820M graphic card.

But when I checked, I found that Windows is showing the Dedicated Graphics Memory as 0MB.

As you can see in the screenshot, it shows Dedicated Graphics Memory as 0MB.
i would like to switch the graphic card (intel vs ati) in my BIOS but i dont have any option menu in it.

I uninstalled my Graphics in control panel/devise manager ... My genius friend told me it would reinstall automatically when I restart ... it did not.
i upgraded from Windows 7 Home premium to Windows 8 pro . Eversince, my AMD radeon HD 7400M series graphic card is not functioning. Further , bluetooth is also not functioning .
View 9 Replies View RelatedI recently purchased an HP Pavilion DV4-1220us, and right off the bat, I noticed strange problems when playing games. After a while, things get distorted and pixelated. So, I downloaded HWMonitor, and I noticed that the higher the temps get, the worse the graphical problems become.
I found this website, and went to undervolt my CPU. Long story short, the stock voltages were 1.125 V, which seemed weird to me. I was able to undervolt it by quite a lot and still not have it BSOD. Under a full load from ORTHOS, I saw a reduction from 90C down to 80C, but when I play games, I don't get that much of a decrease. Before, when gaming it would hover around 80C, and now it hovers around 75C. That's still a pretty decent decrease, but the graphical glitches continue to happen, albeit a bit less noticeably.
I opened up CPU-Z, and I noticed that whether it's undervolted or not, the voltage keeps switching back and forth between what it's set at, and 1.20 V. I've heard from a few other users that they've seen this as well.
Could this voltage fluctuation have anything to do with the graphical glitches?
Has anyone else with my GPU experienced the same problems?
I have a dell xps 15 l502x and when i play games specially graphic extensive ones the laptop freezes when the the power is plugged in but it runs nicely when on battery.

There are  Intel HD Graphics 3000 and ATM Radeon HD 7450M two graphic cards as the device manager window. Recently I am getting blue screens and later message appear saying the ATM driver stopped working. I found many problems with this driver in the past as well. When I check the relevent page for my laptop model, there is no update since 2012..
Can I update these two drivers seperately by getting updates from Intel and AMD sites?Â

When I try to update through the CCC or HP Support Assist, it is always no updates..
I have a HP Pavilion G6-2252sa Notebook running Windows 8 and I have just installed 8.1. All is OK, except the equalizer function in Dolby Advanced Audio V2 is no longer working. You can still move the equalizer sliders but the actual sound quality remains the same. It just sounds flat as if all sliders are permanently set at zero.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have searched the boards and have not found an answer to my built in SD card reader not working any more. It worked fine until a couple weeks ago. When I go to "my computer", the sd card does not show up as an available drive. I have tried several cards with no luck. The cards work fine when I use a USB card reader, just not the built in one.I checked the driver in device manager - at least the one I believe is the correct one - Realtec PCIE Card Reader.

When I place the bluray disc in it states "Windows Media Player cannot play the DVD. The disc was created in a manner that the Player does not support." What do i need to do? I am still learning how to use my laptop.

View 9 Replies View Relatedbrand new hp pavilion 17e135nr window 8.1  tv is brand new 50inch visio.i know the cable is good (new) because my ps 3 works just fine so i unplugged the ps3 and hooked to the laptop to play a movie i down loaded and i selected HDMI 2 where the cable is hooked to on my tv, i get no input on the tv. so i win p and selected duplicate screen and i get nothing, no error messages , the movie starts and plays just fine on the laptop but tv says no input.. i didn't try to select second screen only it should play on both screens,  I dont think the HDMI port is working at all.

I checked whether there was a software due to which it was happening, but, I didn't install any kind of software which can harm the functioning of the keys. Whenever I press F2 or F3, it just shows the slidebar (it doesn't go up and down though) and when I click on the top of the slidebar, nothing happens again. I also tried to go to the brightness option in the Windows Mobility Centre and tried to adjust the brightness - but nothing is happening.Â
Since my laptop (dv6 pavilion 7090el) had to be formatted to another copy of windows 7 (64bit), i can't manage to make hotkeys for brightness(f2-f3)/volume(f9-f10).

I tried to install/uninstall/install HP quick launch software (with all the system restarting combos possible) and the software doesn't really seem to be installed, since it only appears in the Control panel but not anywhere else.

The BIOS "action key" option in System configuration is already "enabled" ....
The brightness control keys (f2 & f3) on my pavilion dm4 stopped working all of a sudden. I'm operating windows 7 64bit. I've tried reverting to previous system restore points. I've also installed the BIOS, Intel chipset, and graphics drivers. All the other function keys are working properly, just can't change the brightness. Right now it's stuck on the brightest setting. I'm getting terrible eye strain from the screen.
