HP Display :: Pavilion 1322TX / Radeon Display Driver Stopped Working
Jun 12, 2012I am running Win 8.1 x64 (up-to-date) on HP Pavilion 1322TX laptop. There are Intel HD Graphics 3000 and ATM Radeon HD 7450M two graphic cards as the device manager window. Recently I am getting blue screens and later message appear saying the ATM driver stopped working. I found many problems with this driver in the past as well. When I check the relevent page for my laptop model, there is no update since 2012..
Can I update these two drivers seperately by getting updates from Intel and AMD sites?
Is there any update for catalyst control system (CCC) ?
When I try to update through the CCC or HP Support Assist, it is always no updates..

Apr 20, 2014After upgrade to 8.1 HDMI port didn't work. Followed instructions to correct BIOS and graphice driver; HDMI works - however Silverlight no longer working with DMS.
Get error 6036 in Silverlight which is Graphics device's driver certificate is invalid
Have checked graphics driver and is all up to date

When I place the bluray disc in it states "Windows Media Player cannot play the DVD. The disc was created in a manner that the Player does not support." What do i need to do? Apr 13, 2014brand new hp pavilion 17e135nr window 8.1 tv is brand new 50inch visio.i know the cable is good (new) because my ps 3 works just fine so i unplugged the ps3 and hooked to the laptop to play a movie i down loaded and i selected HDMI 2 where the cable is hooked to on my tv, i get no input on the tv. so i win p and selected duplicate screen and i get nothing, no error messages , the movie starts and plays just fine on the laptop but tv says no input.. i didn't try to select second screen only it should play on both screens, I dont think the HDMI port is working at all.

HP Pavilion 15-n209TX Display :: Function Keys - F2 And F3 Not Working?
May 14, 2014I purchased HP Pavilion 15-n209TX Laptop this year and the functions keys were working properly. But, later on from 10th of May 2014, they are not working! I checked whether there was a software due to which it was happening, but, I didn't install any kind of software which can harm the functioning of the keys. I am really struggling with very low brightness. The latest thing I did was - windows update - which installed the following softwares
Microsoft Silverlight
Also, I installed HP Quick fix.
Whenever I press F2 or F3, it just shows the slidebar (it doesn't go up and down though) and when I click on the top of the slidebar, nothing happens again. I also tried to go to the brightness option in the Windows Mobility Centre and tried to adjust the brightness - but nothing is happening.

Oct 28, 2014Since my laptop (dv6 pavilion 7090el) had to be formatted to another copy of windows 7 (64bit), i can't manage to make hotkeys for brightness(f2-f3)/volume(f9-f10).
I tried to install/uninstall/install HP quick launch software (with all the system restarting combos possible) and the software doesn't really seem to be installed, since it only appears in the Control panel but not anywhere else.
The BIOS "action key" option in System configuration is already "enabled" ....

Mar 3, 2011The brightness control keys (f2 & f3) on my pavilion dm4 stopped working all of a sudden. I'm operating windows 7 64bit. I've tried reverting to previous system restore points. I've also installed the BIOS, Intel chipset, and graphics drivers. All the other function keys are working properly, just can't change the brightness. Right now it's stuck on the brightest setting. I'm getting terrible eye strain from the screen.

I have Paviliion dv6-6120se, AMD radeon hd 6490M and built-in intel GPU hd 3000 both GPUs is working fine but the problem started when i uninstalled the Catalyst Control Center in order to get a new updated one from AMD website. But the AMD site said my version of radeon hd 6490M is not supported anyway i have tried everything i uninstalled the ATI GPU driver and install it again. Somehow I downloaded Catalyst Control Center the and the installation finished and the same problem it is still not working. Now i lost the Catalyst Control Center and the switchable graphics config.

Mar 25, 2014I can't play most games as it says shockwave flash player needs installed / update, this player was built into my computer when I bought it. I've tried updating doesn't work. Try fixing it and the shockwave player is enabled. The Media Suite is up to date and I've updated the BIOS today, still can't play games, only a few. ( Games from AOL, Pogo, I can't play hardly any games like bingo newer versions and no casino games on the other sites).

Jun 29, 2014I got this Notebook a couple of months ago at The Source in Alberta Canada. Worked fine for a week or so and then the touch screen began to stop working intermittently. Once or twice it seemed that cleaning the (not dirty) screen worked but not anymore. It has just stopped working completely for the past month or so. I've tried glass cleaner on a napkin and on a microfiber cloth..all the way to the edges and nothing. I've run all the troubleshooters, driver updates...everything is up to date and working properly or so they say.

Earlier i had installed AMD drivers from windows update but the problem still exists. In the game i am getting memory insufficient error, unable to change graphics and display settings. Sep 30, 2014I recently formatted my laptop to windows 7 ultimate and since then can not get my function keys to work. I've reinstalled drivers that I thought might work and nothing.
When I could no longer adjust my brightness is when I noticed that my function keys were not working. Is there any other way to adjust the brightness on my laptop besides the function keys? If so I have not figured it out.

It recently started a problem where the laptop's own display doesn't display anything (just blank) if I don't have external display connected. The external display doesn't have be in use, just connected, and E330's own display works fine. If I disconnect the external display, the E330's own display goes blank also. It doesn't matter what display setting I have.Currently I'm not able to use my E330 as a laptop at all.
