Last week my PC got crashed due to hard disk problem , hence OS & all other softwares reinstalled with drivers from then this problem is there.when checked in the bluetooth seetings it shows the device is working properly.but when i try to connect i am not able to establish connection between my mobile and laptop the connection is failing.
As noted above. Seems to be no power going to CD rom. light does not come on. door does not open, does not play cd.

Ever since I upgraded to Windows 7 Pro on my HP Pavilion (dv7-1223ca) , several keys on my keyboard haven't been working properly. I've upgraded and downgraded my computer many times, and this hasn't happened before. When I press the G, H, backspace, or apostrophe keys, they won't work unless I press one of them around thirty or forty times. Once I get one of them working, they all start to work properly for about five minutes, and then it goes back to being broken.
This is a major hassle as I use my laptop for work. I've tried reinstalling the keyboard drivers, but this hasn't worked
Also, two of the keys on my keyboard (alt and delete) came off completely and won't go back on. Is there any chance HP would be able to replace these?

View 9 Replies View Related I will start out with my laptop's system information (and I am typing this on a cell phone)It is an HP Pavilion dv6 Notebook PC with product number - B3K21PA#ABG. Serial number is 2CE2201C96. I have a Broadcom 4313GN 802.11b/g/n 1x1 Wi-Fi Adapter according to my device manager. I have recently changed my ISP and the wireless router they have provided is the Linksys E1200 model.Now, on to the problem - after a prolonged internet use (skype call or playing internet games) my laptop just stops giving me access to the internet.
And I say it like that because the internet connection icon shows that I have network access and internet connection but none of my software or browsers are able to connect to the internet. I have tried updating the driver (both by checking driver updates and by downloading the drivers manually). I have also tried system restores and everything else I could think of, short of actually doing a factory reset on the entire thing. And I should also mention - although this issue has occurred several times now since I changed ISP (and yes, I called them about it too), this current time seems to be permanent since it has been hours and it is still not working.
My pavilion g6 laptop's wifi adapter hasn't been working correcty recently. my internet router and networks are running fine as they should be, but every time i reboot my laptop, it keeps saying that there is no connection and no other wifi netowrks, when there clearly is other networks because of my surrounding neighbours.
I have tried a system restore to resolve the problem, but it has no affect and my norton is affecting the system restore of disabling the antivirus.

I'm using HP Pavilion Dv4 3106tx. I do'nt know what happened but out of no where my wifi adapter somehow stopped working. whenever I enable my wifi button, the bluetooth only works and the wifi icon that usually shows on the lower right of the Taskbar doesn't show. I also checked the Device manager>Network Adapters, the wifi adapter is not there. I also tried "Scan for hardware changes" but still there is no Wifi adapter showing up.
Right now I'm just connecting through ethernet for internet connection because my wifi is not working.
I'm on Windows 7 64 bit and the Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery device is causing my Aspire E5-551 to freeze. If I enable the device and I try to run my laptop on battery it freezes, but when it's disabled I can run on battery perfectly fine.
Now I don't mind having it disabled since it fixes the problem but when I disable it then I have no way of telling how much is left of my battery.
This is a brand new laptop, a little over a month old so I haven't done any damage to it. I sent it in to get fixed but when I received it back from the Acer repair center all they did was re-install windows which did actually fix the problem for about a week but the problem came back.
The Biometric Fingerprint device on my HP Pavilion dv6 laptop is not working. I get the message:
1. The Fingerprint reader is not detected (during start up prior to logging in).
2. Windows did not find any biometric devices on this computer ( when I checked via Control Panel).
I went into this challenge when I reinstalled my windows 7 o/s after I realised I had some corrupted files and so could not install an HP printer on my computer. Unfortunately I did not have the original restoration file so I had to do reformating and reinstallation of the o/s.
My O/S is Windows 7 ultimate.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a Lenovo IdeaPad Y560 which had both Intel and AMD drivers installed correctly, switchable graphics was also functioning properly.
The problem started when I tried to update the 2010 AMD driver with the latest one (2011) on the officail Lenovo site. The install seemed to run through, but informed me that there were warnings during the installation. I opened the linked log file, but it did not include any errors or warnings, only that the installation ran through successfully.
As the driver version still showed that it was the 2010 driver which is installed, I uninstalled the driver, and tried to install the 2011 driver again after a reboot. It once again said that the installation was successfull, but with warnings (still no warning in the log file). When I tried to check the driver version, it turned out that the AMD graphics card is not visible in the device manager, not even as an unrecognised device.
I then tried to install the old 2010 driver (the original driver installation files were already on my D: drive upon delivery), but got the same results as with the 2011 driver.
Removing any AMD/ATi related programs did not work either, I still get a "finished" installation with warnings, and a log file without warnings or errors.
OS is Windows 7 (64bit)
GPU: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5730 (+Intel HD...)
Switchable graphics is turned on in BIOS.
how I could get the system to recognise the attached ATi graphics card, or at least realize that it is there?

I have an HP Pavilion dv5-1183cl that has been upgraded from Windows Vista to Windows 7 Ultimate (32bit) and I have some issues.I have four errors showing up in my device manager, three Base System Device and one Unknown Device, and I don't know what they are or where to get the drivers (since I don't know what they are). View 3 Replies View Relatedi bought a acer laptop @ bestbuy and it came with preinstall vista home. i used the computer fine and all and the internet connects to my router find and was surfing the internet. i then decided to install a fresh copy of my own vista ultimate because i dont like the preinstall stuff that they did because it just clutters up space. after i finish my install of vista ultimate, my laptop doesn't connect to the internet. i know this is simply but i dont see network adapters under the device manager in the computer management screen. i am worried because if i have to install the driver, then i would see some icons with a yellow exclamation mark, but i dont see NETWORK ADAPTERS AT ALL. i dont know how to solve this? any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks all. i've tried to press scan for new hardware changes but still i dont see the network adpaters. i thought if you install vista ultimate, then it will install the wireless drivers for you too.
View 10 Replies View RelatedI've got a XPS 15 (L511Z) which recently stopped charging the battery. It says plugged in but not charging when I hover the mouse over the battery icon. Luckily I've got an extended warranty and on contacting Dell they sent out a new charger. I plugged that in and the same result. In fact now when I boot the laptop it gives me an "The AC adapter plugged in cannot be determined" message.
Dell then asked me to buy a new battery since batteries are not covered in the warranty. Did that but still no luck. Am thinking that the original battery was ok to begin with anyway! Dell then asked me to update the BIOS but when I tried to with the update they gave me it failed, saying incompatible with the current hardware.
I then ran the DELL Support Center utility which identified another BIOS update which updated successfully but then I noticed that it changed the Product to L501X now. The charging issue still persists though.I've sent a response back to Dell but based on what I've been reading on the forums it looks like the motherboard would have to be replaced.
i bought HP 15 d103tx from flipkart. I have installed every drivers from the official website itself. but now i am getting bluetooth error.. I have installed bluetooth driver properly eventhough bluetooth is not working.. its not visible and also i cant send any files from my laptop throgh bluetooth.. View 7 Replies View RelatedI've had my Dell L701X for over two years now and I've had some trouble with the wireless adapter before, particularly within the last 6 months.
Recently, the wireless adapter has been disappearing from the device manager and I have had to resort to a wired connection. The adapter has been disappearing completely from the device manager and I am not sure why. I have tried reinstalling the Intel drivers for the wireless card but that hasn't solved the problem.
The components list for my laptop on the Dell website under components says I have the Intel WiFi Link 6200 (802.11a/g/n) Half Mini-card. Also if I use the wireless hardware switch it seems to be turning the Bluetooth connection on and off in the network adapters.
Currently running Windows 8 but have also had the problem while running Windows 7.
