Acer :: 5715z Shutting Down And Giving Memory Dump Blue Screen

i recently installed vista service pack 1 on my system which is a 64 bit OS! a couple minutes after installing and installed all necessary drivers, i then tried to install the PC game by the name of grid, half way into installation, my laptop shutdown giving me the blue screen that say hardware error and dumping memory.... i tried rebooting a couple time but same blue screen results, so i opened my system and then boot again, i then noticed my fan wasnt running continuously, it runs for a couple seconds then stops and then runagain for another couple seconds and stop, it continuously repeats that step, so i then removed the fan and cleaned out the sponge thick dirt i saw in it, blow out the dust from vents and from heat sink, then i tries booting up again and the fan behaves the same god darn way..... how can i solve this problem do you think weather or not my system is 32 bit or 64 bit, wud it affect the operation of my fan?
Every time I start my laptop Inspiron n5110, it goes to the blue error screen where it says 'collecting data for crash dump'. It usually happens in under a minute after starting the laptop. Once the screen shows I have to force restart by pressing the power key for few seconds.
I have this mac ibook4 that keeps giving me a blue screen, when i ever it's powered on i need to know what is really causing that. i just doesn't respond to anything and some times the screen blinks.
I have bought a new laptop, Dell XPS 14Z, 14 inch, with Windows 7 Premeium installed on it. However, I have a couple of problems from the very start which makes me regret buying it. The laptop works great, but sometimes when I try to shut it down, it doesn't. Just a blue window with shutting down sign but it never turns off perfectly.
The second problem is even deadlier. A blue screen, once a day or two days once appears and I never know why. This death screen comes from nowhere without any reason, I scanned my computer and there's no trace of virus. The only think recognizeable from the screen is this file 'tixhci.sys" file.
The laptop is very good in terms of hardware, 2.5 CPU i5, RAM 4GB, 500GB of hard drive and 1GB of display card.
I've got an HP Pavillion g6 that is my son's. Â when it tries to boot up, windows tries to start and then a blue screen comes up and does a memory dump. Â
I just recieved my Aspire 8930. But Im having a problem.
While filling out the information for my operating system, it randomly decided to BSOD on me, loading the dump information then going to a black screen. Now when I turn it off and try to turn it on, the hard drive doesnt click on or even blink the little display, neither does the screen flicker on.
Computer: HP Pavilion dv6000 Operating System: Windows Vista.  For the past 6-8 months it has been unable to perform Windows Update citing that the most likely reason was a virus. I have tried numerous trouble shooting options when it was recommended that I perform a chkdsk. After initiating a chkdsk in Command Prompt, my computer restarted and had a black screen with no cursor. After watching this for 2 hours and realizing that none of the usual chkdsk progress or text was coming up I made the decision to force shut down.  When I rebooted, I was told to enter system recovery which I did and completed a system recovery from the hard drive. After the system recovery finished and the laptop restarted, I experience a Blue Screen of Death due to a physical memory dump. The error codes are STOP: 0x000000F4 (0x0000000000000003, 0xFFFFFA8006671040, 0xFFFFFA8006671278, 0xFFFFF80001D01DA0).  I am not able to boot in safe mode. In the start up repair, I am able to enter command prompt from which I started chkdsk again. Both chkdsk f/ and chkdsk r/ passed with no errors. Additionally, the computer passed both UEFI Hard Drive and Memory tests. I have system recovery CDs for the computer but they fail at 78% completion.
I bought two new KTH X3BS/4G Modules for my Elitbook 8740w. They show up in the BIOS as 8GB. RAM test says everything is oke. When I start the notebook it has all kind of blue screens.
Mostly it says DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL.
Maybe it's a timing problem. Where can I change the timings? I don't find any options in the BIOS. Â I tried booting linux. Also doesn't work and hangs. I did the BIOS Update to the newest version... Â The problem might be, that the memory is only supported on 8740w QUAD Core Machines. My Machine is only dual core i5 m520.
My HP elitebook 8540p has been serving me well for years but recently it shows a bluescreen and resets after entering the windows password. Â Diagnostics when starting up say:
Memory Test: Failed Failure ID : UOEDUC-56C77E-XD7U3G-40N603 Product ID : WTO38ES#ABH Memory Module 2 Bottom-Slot 1 (right) Â This means the memory card underneath the keyboard should be replaced, correct? I am confused by the message saying "Module 2 Bottom-Slot 1 (right)", I see only one card... If so, what is the best way to acquire a new memory card (Primary memory board)?
I am facing a severe problem of sudden crashing of windows and restart of window.............after restart it shows the message  that window is recovered from unexpected shut down.

i have upgrated my cpu from t2390 to t8100.i have 1.43 bios.but i dont know if speedstep is working properly because in cpuz i see the frecuency changing constantly from 1.2gz to 2.1gz again and again.also im running the latest edition of everest ultimate and in the taskbar icons are showing only 2.1gz.with the t2390 it was working ok.same thing happens on vista home premium sp1 and xp prosp3(dualboot).
I have an Acer Aspire 5715Z notebook and I would like to change my motherboard to a more powerful one which has a normal graphics card, not an integrated one.
The motherboard of the 5720G is compatible with this model? If not, which one?
Another question: Can this series of Acer notebooks use 800MHz DDR2 rams? Or up to just 667MHz?
I have just bought an Aspire 5715Z and the cursor jumps all over the page and makes writing a nightmare. Just this note has taken 3 times as long to write. I have had Acers and other laptops before and I have tried typing touching only the keys. The cursor may highlight and delete whole paragraphs or zoom off the page.
My 17 mth computer suddenly had a blue screen with error messgae PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA ......etc it told me to push F8 to open in safe mode which I did but nothing happened! I turned the computer off and now it won't open up again. The power registers but the screen stays blank! Anyone got any suggestions or is it past hope?
I have tried to contact ACER U.K by e-mail but it won't accept my message as it says SNID number should not exceed 11 digits but it's actually only letting me put in 3 digits! I've also tried to ring but every number is coming up invalid or 'mail box full'.
I have an acer aspire 5630 laptop wich have been wrongly flashed. I'm trying now to replace the bios chip (29lv008) with a new one wich i have to program on an external programmer. My problem is that the only falsh file available at acer site is an executable one (flash 32.exe). Is there a way to extract the flash file to be programmed from this .exe. Or have someone the dump file of such a laptop.
bought a 2nd user aspire 5100. Installed xp , acer drivers etc and all ok till a few weeks later didn't recognise h/d at times ! this got worse ..even not recognised in bios (my bios is version 1.4,)! this got to a stage where wouldn't boot so bought a new h/d and installed xp/drivers again etc etc
2 days later, started getting 'blue screen of death ' and 0x000000f4 ( 0x00000003, 0x8473ADAO,etc )
Switched of and rebooted , ok for a few hrs then same again ...today wouldn't stay on for more than 15mins before blue screening!
It runs fine when plugged in, encoding video etc.... The issue is when the laptop is running from the battery, it'll just bluescreen within about 5 mins of unplugging it... every time without fail. I have the latest BIOS 1.13 installed.
I'm guessing it's because it's an engineering sample? Would formatting the PC be worth a shot? I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate at the moment.
I have an Acer Aspire 3690 running Vista, which I bought a year ago. It came with one 512mb stick of RAM, which I coped with but was really pretty slow. Obviously. Anyway, I took it to a shop to get some more fitted about three weeks ago, they put in two 1gb sticks.
Ever since then I've been getting sporadic blue screen, when I never had a single one in the year I've had it.
Sometimes certain pieces of software seem to set it off (Deluge, and either Total Recorder or Skype, I haven't figured out which or if it's a combination yet) which I've been using the entire year with no problems. Sometimes it just seems to happen for no real reason.
And most annoyingly of all, it often happens on start up, it'll bluescreen and restart and eventually I'll get it to let me into Safe Mode, and from there I can restart properly and it'll let me into Vista proper.
I have an Acer 6930ZG with a fresh install of windows 7 RC 32bit. I can play Call Of Duty 4, Counter Strike, Flatout 2 etc. with no problems! But when I try to open MapleStory a blue screen appears, and begin to make a physcial memory dump? . MapleStory is a 2D-game, and Call Of Duty requires much more.
I made a little research, and I found out that alot of people have the same problem, and they said it was caused by a conflict with a program or hardware drivers. I have tried to delete my NVIDIA driver, and install it again. No luck.
And yes, I have also tried to run MapleStory in compatibily mode
As I said: It's only in MapleStory I experience the problem, and I don't think it's ram-failure, since I have seen the same problem on a different computer, and I can play Call of Duty 4.

I have an old aspire 5100 which has been playing up for a long time, everytime it comes out of standby I get a blue screen and than it reboots and does a scan disc any one has this happen to them.
I bought a Acer Aspire E1 531 4836 and the screen went blue so He charge me 198.00 to re-install Windows 8 and 2 weeks later It happen again . This time He told me its my Hard Drive .
iv had this problem for a few weeks now and nothing seems to be working. Everytime I play a game I get a bluescreen about display drivers and windows Problem Reports and Solutions says its a problem with ATI Graphics Drivers aswell.
I have tried various different ATI drivers and the driverhearn mod application but all them having failed I even run Acer eReovery and restored back to factory setting and STILL have the same problem but with a new error message, popping up occasionally while just genrally using the laptop, saying that the drivers stopped responding but managed to recover... something along those lines.

for the past 3 days my Acer 8920G has been acting..very strange. It randomly turns off/has a blue screen, then I can't use it for 6-10 hours before it works again, but then only for 30 min then repeats. I've checked the temperatures for the HDD/CPU/GPU on the time I was on, and the HDD was 58C, CPU and GPU were around 50C (With FF3.5, iTunes, MSN and Vuze running). I've taken off the back panel and removed the dust but that didn't do anything at all. This morning I turned it on after leaving it upside down (back panel on) to vent all the air (if I left it open more dust would've gone in) and it wouldn't even hit the desktop. Kept crashing when it hits the desktop (that's basically what happens when I try and turn it on after it has a blue screen or turns off). So I opened the back panel and let my hand hover over the components - no heat what so evr radiated from it, which means it can't have overheated...right? Now I can only run it with the back panel off, which I'm doing now in a well ventilated area.
My acer 6920g restarts itself frequently after showing blue screen. The error in the blue screen is "driver_irql_not_less_or_equal" each time. I tried updating my driver to the new one but still the same problem.
i have a problem with my TM8006, it first died, and after i reinstalled everything several times i keep getting blue screen errors, don't know why, it might be the harddrive, but i'm not sure. If it is the harddrive can i change it by my self?
I have tried to install XP Home on my Acer 6920g but with no success.
I made an XP disk with the sata drivers via Nlite which was recognised, installed the OS but on first boot the laptop gives me the BSOD but as it is so quick I am unable to get any error code. The laptop will not boot on safe mode either which makes me think there is a physical (hardware) issue that doesn't like XP.
