Acer Aspire V3-731 :: Print Window Closes And Nothing Prints
Nov 20, 2014
I have a HP P3015 Laser Jet printer installed on a network. My Aspire V3-731 sees it. I go to print and nothing happens. The print window closes and nothing prints. What do I do?
I had to reinstall windows from eRovery on my Acer Aspire 5734Z. It worked but now when I click on the explorer icon, the window opens but nothing - and I mean NOTHING - happens. I can't even close it after waiting and waiting for it to open any page at all! I am connected to our wifi - it tells me the connection is strong. Just nothing comes up! I have tried restarting, waiting awhile before opening the internet, but still blank.
I have just installed the HP 4635 printer to my network. All devices were printing yesterday wirelessly. Today the laptop device has a print job that I have requested to delete. It has said "deleting" for two days and I can not get it "unstuck". each time I send a new print job to the que it goes in line "behind" the print job that is stuck in "deleting" mode. I have tried re-starting. re-booting, ctrl, alt, delete. nothing seeings to get this print job "unstuck" and deleted.
I have a Dell Inspiron 15r and a Dell v313w I purchased in November 2010, both are wireless and connected through a gateway/router that have been very great over the years but about a year or so ago I noticed each time I would try to print out multiple documents I could only get one document to print out, it could include one sheet or many sheets . Any others documents would be stuck in the print queue listed as " printing " but would never print out unless I restarted the computer then it would print out all documents one after another just as they had been entered complete with all sheets per document accounted for and in correct order.
After the printer had finished printing all the documents if I needed to print another document I would have the same headache all over again and the document would remain in the queue until I restarted the computer again.I'm not a spring chicken by any means and have to think logically went operating the computer or installing software so many of the technical jargon is something I really don't understand.
I hit enter eight times, and I get a choice of entering a password or continuing, when I continue I can go on to windows. If I choose enter a password I get a blue window with a KEY. I can take the eight digit number key, and enter it in a program on another computer, 'allservice.ro/acer' which gives me the password. I enter the password into my laptop (acer aspire E1-531-2438) and it leaves the blue window, and I can continue either with the HDD loading windows 7, or I can load a cdrom or dvd.
This is great. But if I reboot, and hit F2, I enter the BIOS, and choose security, and I see that the HDD password is still set. If I hit enter, I can enter the HDD password, but when I enter the one I just used, it tells me it is invalid.
I have also tried to kill the power, and startup again going into BIOS, but the HDD password I just used is still invalid.
My hp pavilion dv6 letter p prints continuously ppppppppp? A tech is going to replace an item in the keyboard today. I'll let you know if it works. He has already rebooted my laptop which did not work and probably did not need to be done at all. My laptop is only a little more than a year old and my warranty is no more.
I have a user with a v515 printer connected by USB cable to a Latitude 5530 laptop. He's running Windows 7 32-bit.
His printer will print one document, and that comes out fine, but it won't print anything else until he reboots the computer. The second document goes into the queue and says "printing" but nothing happens. I tried restarting the print spooler, uninstalling and reinstalling the software and updating the firmware but nothing has worked.
why when I started launched Windows XP in VMWare Fusion, my video chat through iChat closed and when the other party tried to connect it said something to the effect that the service isn't available. Anyone know why this happen or how or if it can be fixed? (I have never done this before, this is the first time I tired)
my notebook has been shutting off my network connection whenever I close my lid. This didn't start happening until maybe a few weeks ago, maybe even less. I couldn't say if there was anything I did to accidentally cause this, but I certainly didn't do anything intentionally. I've looked through all the network connections properties and whatnot and I can't seem to find a fix.
I'm using an HP DV6500t that I purchased almost a year and a half ago. I have the Intel Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN.
I'm running windows 7 64bit, I got a new RGBLED screen as a replacement mid last week. Now I just realized that when I close the lid the screen isn't turning off. I've went through all of the power options and set it to "Do nothing" when closing the lid and that, for every single laptop I've owned has made the screen to shut off when closed. If I let it idle it'll dim and then shut down like it normally would during windows use. Is there a quickfix or some sort of driver needed? Also grabbed a 9cell battery from a parts sort locally, couldn't believe they had a 9cell for $30! This thing looks brand new, but I'm suspicious that it might be some chinese fake, how can I determine if it's real? It only have 1.0% of wear on it according to HWiNFO32.
I have an acer travelMate 8573 gt and I recently downloaded the drivers for the fionger print reader for the acer website but I can't make it to work because I don't have the acer pro shield where can i get it. How I can use to make my finger print reader to work...
Once win7 comes out, I wish to upgrade. How can I do this? I want to keep up the back up partition of vista and install 7(I want the backup partition just to be safe.)Would I just hit f10 on the loading screen and click use disks to format and insert the windows 7 cds.
how to disable that annoying notification window that comes up when you log in using the fingerprint scanner? It never used to be a problem but now my start bar is at the top of the screen it goes up and off the screen then back...
i am trying to print out a .pdf on the web, but am getting an error message (shown in attached files). it asks me this twice when i go to print it. i am using a HP printer.
i have no trouble with printing in other programs. i made sure that i am connected
I am trying to trouble shoot my friend's computer, it is a Dell Inspiron 1525 and the printer is a Dell V305. Every time she tries to print it says Communication Not Available...
I searched google and read to reinstall the driver which I did, installed the latest driver, and installed the net framework. Nothing worked...
The only other thing I can think of is use a back up point..
Just got my Studio 15 today. So far so good. I thought Firefox was not compatible with the finger print reader, so far it's working for me with over 25 passwords already. My only concern so far is the keyboard flex!
I recently have ordered an M1330 but I have been looking at some of the user pictures that do not have the finger print reader. Is this because it is not standard on the laptop and do you need to pay extra? (Im talking about the NZ/AUS version [url] theres no option to include or exclude it like the US site).
Also is it possible to upgrade from the LCD to LED in the future, if so how much?
