View 3 Replies View RelatedI have just installed the HP 4635 printer to my network. All devices were printing yesterday wirelessly. Today the laptop device has a print job that I have requested to delete. It has said "deleting" for two days and I can not get it "unstuck". each time I send a new print job to the que it goes in line "behind" the print job that is stuck in "deleting" mode. I have tried re-starting. re-booting, ctrl, alt, delete. nothing seeings to get this print job "unstuck" and deleted.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a Dell Inspiron 15r and a Dell v313w I purchased in November 2010, both are wireless and connected through a gateway/router that have been very great over the years but about a year or so ago I noticed each time I would try to print out multiple documents I could only get one document to print out, it could include one sheet or many sheets . Any others documents would be stuck in the print queue listed as " printing " but would never print out unless I restarted the computer then it would print out all documents one after another just as they had been entered complete with all sheets per document accounted for and in correct order.
After the printer had finished printing all the documents if I needed to print another document I would have the same headache all over again and the document would remain in the queue until I restarted the computer again.I'm not a spring chicken by any means and have to think logically went operating the computer or installing software so many of the technical jargon is something I really don't understand.

I formatted the laptop to get rid of all the bloat ware and installed a fresh copy of w7 ultimate x64. I installed the IDT audio codec and nvidia audio and video drivers. The sound works fine but for some reason the on screen volume bar is gone. I can increase the sound and watch it increase in the taskbar but the on screen one isn't there, the eject key nor the treble/bass work either.
The print screen button is missing in my G560 laptop. Is there an alternate way to capture screenshot?

Usually there is a button on the keyboard for this kind of task, but I haven't been able to find any (Fn+Button) combination on the keyboard for this particular task..
PS. I know that putting the laptop screen all the way down is a way 2 solve this, but im looking for other or -the Button "shutdown" alternative....

I am trying to trouble shoot my friend's computer, it is a Dell Inspiron 1525 and the printer is a Dell V305. Every time she tries to print it says Communication Not Available...
I searched google and read to reinstall the driver which I did, installed the latest driver, and installed the net framework. Nothing worked...
The only other thing I can think of is use a back up point..
How many of you enjoy using the 13.1" (1600x900) screen on the Vaio Z for Illustrator or Photoshop? Do you all plug it into larger monitors before using any of these or other Adobe Creative Suite applications? I do a lot of complex Illustrator work that requires attention to detail, but also some light Photoshop work. Other than that, my use of the laptop would be limited to MS Office, Firefox, and iTunes.
Further, would you prefer a 14.1" (1440x900) screen for Adobe CS work, without an external monitor? Does the extra inch and lower resolution make much of a difference?
At this point, this is the only thing keeping me from hitting the order button on either a somewhat expensive, yet powerful Z (plus an extra monitor, mouse, and keyboard), or a relatively cheaper, albeit less powerful Lenovo T400S (without an extra monitor or other accessories).
(The T400S's beautifully thin (0.83") profile is also rather attractive in comparison to the Z's bulkiness.)
I have installed a clean Windows 8.1 on the Helix and have several issues. Putting them into several threads so they can be answered independently. The first thing I did after installing the system (and critical Windows Updates) was running the Lenovo System Update tool and downloading everything.
Screen rotation does not work. In “Device Manager” I can see “C5621 gw Mobile Broadband Geolocation Sensor” and “Hid Sensor Collection”. The HID one has an exclamation mark next to it. Are there some drivers I need to download to make this work. I did of course check if screen rotation is not locked – it is not (I did turn it on/off a couple of times, without any effect). Manual rotation (using display settings) works fine.
Screen went black and turning on off does not get it to work. After searching tried a few of the suggested fixes for other models and no luck. Does not work with external monitor either. Are there any known bios fixes for this model...

View 3 Replies View RelatedI recently have ordered an M1330 but I have been looking at some of the user pictures that do not have the finger print reader. Is this because it is not standard on the laptop and do you need to pay extra? (Im talking about the NZ/AUS version [url] theres no option to include or exclude it like the US site).
Also is it possible to upgrade from the LCD to LED in the future, if so how much?
Anyone ever notice that half the time the finger print scanner doesnt work and you have to reboot the system for it to work again?
