After 4 hours or so while surfing webpages, suddenly it started showing no internet connection and asked to reload webpages. So I looked at the wireless network icon on the bottom right corner which showed full bars. A few seconds later a yellow colored triangle with exclamation mark appeared on the network icon showing no internet and limited internet.Â

After turning the wifi off and back on the internet connects and works for few hours. After few hours, it lost internet connectivity again with the same above symptoms. I have this laptop now for 3 days and in past 3 days I had this problem at least 25 times.Â
I have an Aspire V3-571. Please see summary below in bullet points:

3. Â After 20 minutes, HDMI signal cannot be detected from the laptop

My TV's HDMI port works with other devices when connected to it. What am I missing here? Is there a hardware defect with my laptop?
I have dell inspiron duo 1090 with a multi touch screen suportted in windows 7, and the multi touch feature (right click with 2 fingers touch, zooming) used to work until I upgraded dell datasafe local backup to version 9.4.60 (after automatic reminder) and after this install the touch screen is working but the multi-tocuh functionality doesn't (although it was enabled in the windows settings) - no zooming or right click with 2 features touch, after I restored this software to version 9.4.51 the multi-touch is back to work, I checked this again and again to isolate the source of the problem and it really seems like a strange bug in datasafe 9.4.60.
How do I report this bug to dell so I could update the dell datasafe to an updated version but without loosing the multi-touch functionality.
I bought a DV6 in 2011. I got a weird issue a few days ago. I usually browsed on Internet normally on my laptop and everything was fine. But one day, I unplugged the AC adapter from my laptop and I started to experience a very weak wifi internet connection. After troubleshooting, the problem comes from my laptop. Randomly, I just plugged the AC adapter from laptop and everything was fine, I mean worked normally . But I unplugged the AC adapter the problem came back. So I wanted to know if there is a relation between the wifi connection strenght and the AC adapter/battery.

I have an HP Pavilion DV2700 (DV2799ea) that is about a year old. It has built-in bluetooth which can be quite tempremental. A week ago I searched the net for a way to get my bluetooth working properly and decided to download the latest version of bluetooth for my laptop from the HP website. I then restarted my laptop, like it said. The bluetooth worked perfectly. My internet connection, however, wouldn't work.
I tried going into the very beginning of the laptop and rolling the computer back to a few hours before I installed the new bluetooth in the hope that the bluetooth would be gone but my internet would be back (as I would rather obviously have internet than bluetooth). This did not work.
I also started the laptop in safe mode, but this made no difference.
I also tried diagnosing the problem, finding a new IP address, restarting the laptop again, changing router numbers etc.
I also tried disconnecting the bluetooth, but this didn't make any difference.
I also tried completely removing the wireless connection and then reconnecting it all, this also did not work...................
I have an HP G60 Notebook PC with Windows Vista Home Premium, it's about 4 years old. I recently got a new Cisco Linksys E1500 wireless router, which is connected to my home computer. My laptop shows that it is connected to the home network, but it will not connect to the internet. Other laptops in the house are able to connect to the network and the internet. Mine seems to be the only one not working. Why isn't it working? What do I need to do to fix it?

I've run network diagnostics. It says "A problem with you network router or broadband modem might be preventing an internet connection." I've unplugged both of these and tried again. It didn't work! I've also connected my laptop straight to the modem and it still didn't connect to the internet. I've tried resetting the network adapter. My IP settings are set to automatic.

My internet connection wasn't a problem before last week (when I got a new router).
I just bought my first laptop and it's a DV6-1253ca itz pretty sick. I have one problem though, when I try to connect to my home network, it says im connected but I can't go on the internet or sign into msn anything related to connecting to the internet i cant do. I disconnect and reconnect and it only sometimes work. This also happens when I close the lid~put the computer to sleep and i turn in bk on again, it connects to my home network by itself but still I can't go on the internet.

The problem Im having is that I will be connected to the internet browser and it will work for about 5 minutes and then I wont connect after that. I know its not the connection because everything else on this network works and even the email button on my laptop will still sync all my emails. Ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling the browser. Â For example, am selling items on ebay and during the listing process - particularly when loading a photo - page freezes and am unable to navigate up or down or click on anything to move out of the page. View 6 Replies View RelatedSo I've had this laptop for over 5 years now (Dell Inspiron 1525) & about 2 years ago I put Windows 7 on it(the laptop came with vista). I haven't had any problem with it up until November of 2012. The problem I'm having is my wireless connection get's dropped constantly. Randomly & especially if I'm watching a video online. It does it on every browser. And I cannot reconnect to my WIFI without restarting my computer or putting it in hibernate mode & resuming windows.Â
It actually stopped for a month & is now back worse than it was before. I contacted Dell & they ran a diagnostic with me & said I needed to change my hard drive. So I have(this was 4 days ago) & the problem is still occurring. I've taken it to geeksquad even & had them run diagnostics & they said they found nothing either. I can't seem to find a solution.

The stuttering sound happens when I'm playing any kind of audio. If I'm not playing audio, the stutter wont occur but the wireless signal will drop. I've also looked into the device manager & I found this.
I've been expecting a problem recently; when I turn off/restart my Inspiron 7720 and I press F2 to load the BIOS, I notice the bar fills but it continues and loads windows normally. I tried updating the BIOS from A10 to the newest A12. If i press F12 for boot options it works fine, it's only when I press F2 for the BIOS.

I know it's not my router because I am usually running one of two X-boxes in the house and that connect never drops. The laptop works great for a couple of hours and then it drops off. I have tried restarting, shutting down and nothing works. I do all my homework online and cannot afford it dropping in the middle of a test or something. I picked it up primarily because I had some minor issues with the HP HDX16T I bought about a month ago. I loved it, but it was really about 2-3 pounds too heavy (with 12 cell battery) and the battery didn't last very long at all. It was similarly equipped, in that it had both the HD display (16" 1920x1080) and Blu-Ray drive (only a reader).
Unfortunately the battery in the XPS really didn't give me quite the performance time boost that I hoped it would, and the display looks like absolute crap compared to the HP (no offense to anyone here).
I had heard all this business about the "grainy" displays from Samsung, but I hoped either I wouldn't be afflicted or just wouldn't notice. Well, turns out I do notice...a lot.
What's worse is that it's inferior to the HP display in every other way too - color reproduction looks way off (everything is WAY too blue out of the box), its less forgiving of viewing angle, and overall the colors are just really muted in comparison.
Is it possible that I just got a bad one? Most of the posts on here indicate the only way to "fix" this issue is to replace your screen, which seems a bit daunting to be honest .....

When I try to connect my laptop to an Acer monitor with an HDMI cable, it gives me a no signal error. But when the same laptop is connected to a Philips monitor using the same cable, it works perfectly. As usual I thought that the monitor was the culprit, but when I connected another laptop to the Acer monitor using the same cable it worked without any errors. So where does the problem lie. The HDMI cable is OK, the laptop is also OK as also the Acer monitor?

I came to know its Static charge build up, but all procedures fails. My charger is working properly when not connected to laptop,the led indication lights up, but when i plug-in the charger to the Laptop, LED indication in the charger goes off. And the Laptop won't even start up.
I was setting my power saving plans on my Inspiron 17r.
Is there any problem when I set "Maximum Performance" next to video, wifi, java script in all plans on AC connected mode?
I see that by default in some plans there is Balanced or low performance set next to those option even on AC connected. Why is that. From my understanding laptop is not running on battery while connected to AC.
Will it change anything if I set maximum performance on "Power Saving" plan when AC is connected? Will it affect my battery, charging time? I'm confused only because of those default settings.

MY WEBCAM IS NOT WORKING,SHOWN AS"NO SUPPORTED WEBCAM CONNECTED",
IN DEVICE MANAGER ,NO IMAGING DEVICE FOUND.
The web cam will show up at times in the device manager but only under show hidden devices. I have gone through the delete the cam and usb hub from devices, load every update, tried every trouble shooter. and reloaded the operating system.
