Dell Inspiron N5010 :: How To Stop Beeping Sound - LCD Failure

I have Dell Inspiron N5010 for quite some time and yesterday LCD's just gone all of a sudden. I get 8 beeps again and again which seems to show LCD failure. I connected it to an external LCD and it works. the problem is that I am on the biz trip right now and this beeping sound really annoys me (until I solve this problem by replacing LCD or buying a new lap top). How to kill this beeping sound temporarily?

The 7 beeps means CPU crash test failure and the processor needs replaced.
Unfortunately, our laptop is out of warranty and Dell will charge me to have the processor replaced. My son has learning disabilities and requires this computer as it has programs that he needs for school that we don't have the disks for. I'm incredibly frustrated that Dell will not fix the processor without charge. After the very long and frustrating discussion with the Dell representative, we have decided that we will never purchase another Dell product. I will not be having the laptop fixed as I refuse to pay for repairs for an inferior product. If it was to be fixed and overheated again and damaged the processor, they will only provide a 90 day warranty for the replacement processor.
I will now have to purchase another laptop for my son and try and obtain the programs that he needs through the school board. However, all of his voice files are lost and he will have to spend hours retraining the new programs which will cause him much frustration.

I had a Dell inspiron 15R N5010 laptop and had been using it for more than 3 years. Before 1 year ago I was facing the starting problem in my laptop.when I power on of my laptop it showing Black screen only power light is on and also causing 7 beep sound with a few second intervals until when I power off the laptop.After 20 days later it is again running but sometimes it facing the same problem.But now I facing the same problem after 1 year later...

I have had a Hard Drive failure apropos of nothing. Could not restart (HP Pavilion 15 230 sa ) would not boot and had a clicking sound. The ID is U0C40K-76U7AE-MFPV61-60UQ03 (some of the zeros may be 'o' s , hard to tell). Can I fix this myself?Lap top is 3 months old.

My Inspiron 15R N1510 laptop emits a series of 5 shorts beeps, evenly spaced, on start-up. It repeats this until the startup music plays and then stops. Everything seems to run fine and I ran the diagnostics and it passed all of the tests. I am not sure how to make it stop beeping..

I turn on my laptop and there is no picture, the power light comes on, but no picture, it is black screen and then it is beeping continuously. This is all it will do. The battery started not keeping a charge for very long lately, but I am not sure this is what is causing the black screen and beeping. I have tried to remove it for a while and put it back in to no avail.

My laptop is just under 3 years old (seems I've done well that it lasted this long!).
I'm more than a little fed up as my old Dell was purchased in 2003 and is still working. I'm not hard on my laptop - it's never taken from home, maintained well and on my last de-frag (2 nights ago), it was in good health with only a quarter of the memory used.
I was told by Trading Standards that I should complain directly to Dell as under the Sale of Goods Act, I should expect something like this to last longer than this. They were interested to here that it seems to be a common fault in the US, too.
What are the chances of getting this repaired? Will I have lost everything on it? How much will a repair cost? Should I just bite the bullet and buy a new laptop?

My fan on the inspiron 1545 will not stop running. The laptop is quite hot. The battery from Dell died and replaced with a third party battery and adapter which have not been working well either. Battery will not charge so it is currently attached to power source at all times with the battery in the laptop.

I recently purchased my laptop about 3 months ago and had no problem with it. But when I went to go turn it on one morning it started beeping 7 long beeps. I did some research and found out that it is a problem with my processor. How do I fix this problem? Or will I need to return it to the place I bought it? I just bought a Inspiron 17R, Intel i3, 4GB RAM. I've had the machine for exactly one week and have noticed several times, this high pitch (almost like a digital watch), that comes on for about 3 seconds, followed by a 'click', as if a disk drive was done working. This noise is coming from within the computer, not the speakers. Yesterday, it did it again, except the pitch changed during it's sound; again, followed by the 'clicking' sound.
The other thing I've noticed (and maybe I'm oblivious to new technology), is the fan on the inside of the computer doesn't stay on all the time. It comes on about once every 3-4 minutes, at a about a 5-8 second cycle. Maybe it's supposed to do that. I'm use to my old machine's fan staying on most of the time, allowing you to feel the heat being pushed out. Not so much on this one.
Now, could these two be related?

Have Inspiron 3520 with W8 - daughter has infected it via Minecraft update. Original issue was dark screen and beeping, 8 at a time. Put on a external monitor and am going through the long process of digging out the bugs with anti-virus and malware removal programs.
Question is this - how can I stop the infernal beeping? It starts up if I insert the power cord or disconnect/connect the external monitor. Is there any way to silence it?

My laptop that I use for school started beeping today (7 times). I have been using it for a year and 3 months now (3 months out of warranty) and I don't know what to do.
The laptop is in perfect condition (no drops/spills/never had a virus)
Earlier today I pressed the "fn" key and quickly pressed all the "f1 through f12" buttons when i turned on the power and It worked but after about 40 minutes i put the computer to sleep the problem started again. The "fn" thing did not work anymore even after numerous times...
