Dell :: Wireless NA Signal Can Go Through 3 Storey House

Before I'll order Lattitude E6400. I've some question about wireless network. I've heard that wireless N - A signal can go far than 2x , if compare with wireless G.
In E6400 series , there is an option for wireless : 5100 , 5300. The one I'll choose is 5300 wireless N (best option)
Is it possible to use wireless N for 3 storey house. I' ve plan to located ADSL modem on Ground Floor. Is it possible that a signal can run through 3rd Floor.
Are there anybody know that we can use wireless ADSL Modem in this case?
A signal - How far can it go?
I don' want to extend a wire from existing modem. Just change to a wireless modem and I can use it for one desktop on ground floor and one laptop(wireless) on 3rd floor. Is this right?

So I've had this laptop for over 5 years now (Dell Inspiron 1525) & about 2 years ago I put Windows 7 on it(the laptop came with vista). I haven't had any problem with it up until November of 2012. The problem I'm having is my wireless connection get's dropped constantly. Randomly & especially if I'm watching a video online. It does it on every browser. And I cannot reconnect to my WIFI without restarting my computer or putting it in hibernate mode & resuming windows.
It actually stopped for a month & is now back worse than it was before. I contacted Dell & they ran a diagnostic with me & said I needed to change my hard drive. So I have(this was 4 days ago) & the problem is still occurring. I've taken it to geeksquad even & had them run diagnostics & they said they found nothing either. I can't seem to find a solution.

The stuttering sound happens when I'm playing any kind of audio. If I'm not playing audio, the stutter wont occur but the wireless signal will drop. I've also looked into the device manager & I found this.

I recently purchased an FW285D and its been great thus far.. I have been noticing issues with the wireless signal however. I have a dell inspirion 9300 also and it uses intel wireless... MY sony however is currently using the vista wireless system but i did see some intel wireless programs lying around.
Anyway basically when im upstairs in the house the internet cuts in and out constantly.. showing my network then saying its not available. 3 Other people use laptops in the house and they have no problems whatsoever including my dell.. I have it sitting beside my sony and it will stay connected while my sony keeps on having to reconnect. Its truly annoying. Its weird because it shows the wireless signal of my neighbours houses at a higher strength than my own connection and also has them ALWAYS up. No one else in my house gets this problem so i doubt it has something to do with my actual wireless router... which is a linksys WRT300N.
Does anyone have any ideas.. Will the intel wireless be better.. if i double click on the .exe file in my common(ifrmework) folder it just says i need to reinstall the program and restart.....

I just purchased my first laptop and my first wireless router and have been setting them up.
Laptop: HP touchscreen Pavilion 15 notebook 15-n088ca with windows 8.1 (fully updated)
Router: D-Link Dual Band AC1000 2.5GHz & 5GHz bands DIR-810L
I set up the router and worked out the kinks and updated the software. My laptop finds and connects with the 2.5GHz Band anywhere in the house. My laptop does not even find or see the 5GHz Band. However my Galaxy Tablet finds both bands and can connect with both, thought the 5GHz seems weaker.
I noticed that my Galaxy Tablet finds a lot more wi fi networks than my laptop (that are in houses around the street). I believe my laptop should find the 5Ghz Band and be able to connect. So I'm hoping this is a software or driver issue, and just a setting that needs to be adjusted. I don't know much about Wi Fi drivers, but I"m a Vista survivor, so I should be able to solve this.
I don't even know what program runs the WiFi software on my laptop? Or where to find it?

My AC Adapter port on my 11 month old VAIO FW came loose and it's not charging. Simultaneously I think my AC Adapter simply broke.
Sony is mailing me a new AC Adapter and is having a tech come to my house to fix the port. Anyone have experience with this

I am facing a problem with my Dell 1537. The WiFi signal as recieved by the laptop is very weak.
As soon as i reboot the singal strength goes to maximum.
All this time i get a very good signal on my other laptop.

I tried to ask the Ubuntu Forums but they came up blank. Ok I am typing on my old laptop. I have a strange problem with my new Dell xps studio 13.
The Wifi driver on it is not working correctly. I can get my wifi to work but for some reason the signal is EXTREMELY weak. i MEAN I CAN BARELY USE MY WIFI it is that weak.............................

I have a Latitude e6510 display port. The graphics card that came with the laptop is Nvidia NVS 3100M.
My display port does not output. External screen just says <No video signal>
The Nvidia control panel can also not see any other monitors.
I have tried this with multiple displays. I have updated to the latest drivers for everything including Nvidia.I ran the scan system for driver updates utility from Dell.
How do I get the display port to start outputting. Is there some special driver that is needed?

I just bought a new laptop and every night I lose the wifi connection. I know it's not my router because I am usually running one of two X-boxes in the house and that connect never drops. The laptop works great for a couple of hours and then it drops off. I have tried restarting, shutting down and nothing works. I do all my homework online and cannot afford it dropping in the middle of a test or something. The OS is that wonderful Windows 8 (in my sarcastic voice).

I have a vostro 3560, and turn it on after passing the initial checkup gives me a beep followed by silence and again on beep, no video signal gives and does nothing. which could be wrong with this machine ?.
The beep error code is only 1 continuous beep with the same time separation between the two beep, while not turn off the machine, the same sequence is repeated beep.

I recently replaced an old Linksys router with a 1TB Time Capsule. I loved the idea of an integrated solution with passive backups. Unfortunately, I am starting to regret this purchase but I'm hoping that I am just missing something.
The TC sits upstairs in my office where my Linksys used to be. On the main floor, I tried to add my PS3 to the network. It ends up showing a signal strength of about 55%-65%, with NAT Type 3. My old Linksys gave me 85%+, with NAT Type 2. I also noticed that my laptop's network signal strength is four bars when I'm on the main floor, which is one less than with the Linksys.

I have an Aspire V3-571. Please see summary below in bullet points:
1. Used to work fine when connected to my TV (via HDMI cable)
2. One night, when laptop was connected to TV, picture started flickering
3. After 20 minutes, HDMI signal cannot be detected from the laptop
4. Updated Intel HD Graphics 3000 driver (Date: 1/29/2014 Version: 9.17.10.3347)
5. Tried using different HDMI cables
6. Pressing Fn+F5 does not do anything
My TV's HDMI port works with other devices when connected to it. What am I missing here? Is there a hardware defect with my laptop?

I recently performed a clean install of Vista, all the appropriate drivers have been installed (Nothing is unaccounted for in Device Manager).
HP Quickplay and Windows Media Center both recognize the TV Tuner itself, and there is static snow whenever I select the TV viewing function.
Before the clean install, the TV function worked fine. I could pick up a few channels using the included antenna, and the cable TV adapter worked as well. Now, after the clean install, I pick up no channels. I was hoping it was just poor reception, but it no longer detects cable channels through the adapter as well.

I bought a DV6 in 2011. I got a weird issue a few days ago. I usually browsed on Internet normally on my laptop and everything was fine. But one day, I unplugged the AC adapter from my laptop and I started to experience a very weak wifi internet connection. After troubleshooting, the problem comes from my laptop. Randomly, I just plugged the AC adapter from laptop and everything was fine, I mean worked normally . But I unplugged the AC adapter the problem came back. So I wanted to know if there is a relation between the wifi connection strenght and the AC adapter/battery.

I have recently purchased Dell Inspiron 15R 5521N laptop with Windows 8 Pro. When I try to connect my laptop to an Acer monitor with an HDMI cable, it gives me a no signal error. But when the same laptop is connected to a Philips monitor using the same cable, it works perfectly. As usual I thought that the monitor was the culprit, but when I connected another laptop to the Acer monitor using the same cable it worked without any errors. So where does the problem lie. The HDMI cable is OK, the laptop is also OK as also the Acer monitor?

I know the Intel 4000 video can only handle dual video, but is there any way have both those streams on external monitors. I have one that is extended and I would like to use another port to simply passthrough the interal display signal. I am using the series 3 miniport plus which has two digital/dvi ports and a vga out. In connecting to the second digital or the vga I get no signal. Likewise with the side VGA on the PC. I wouldn't even mind if the laptop display stayed lit as long as I could see it duplicated on a real monitor AND KEEP MY EXTENDED DESKTOP on another extenal monitor.
Seems like an obvious feature for a docking station.

My Pavilion is about two years old and the motherboard was replaced by HP while under warranty.
For the second time in about nine months the notebook suddenly cannot recognize my router's WiFi signal. This time if I do a system recovery I will have to reinstall 50 apps! I am trying to avoid this if possible. I understand that changing the bios settings, how this step will affect (delete/save) files. Upgraded from WIN7 to 8 to 8.1.
