View 2 RepliesI just had this notebook-pc HP 14-d008au 14 inch and my issues are: When the package brought to me it doesnt have any dvd or cd for all drivers, second the OS is ubuntu when I changed it to Windows 8 some drivers from your website when I run it, it can't be installed. Third the wifi and bluetooth is not working ( it cannot recognize wireless internet and devices). I can't use this thing because of some missing hardwares and drivers.
View 5 Replies View Related, I've been having BSOD over and over again. I am using Windows 7 (32-bit) on my HP 14-d008AU. I have been also looking for answers around the web, tried everything and I'm still getting this BSOD.
It pretty looked like this (I guess).
After Updating my BIOS through HP Support Assistance....while using on battery on my laptop...the battery Indicator Can't goes down...it always shows 100%....using on battery the indicator can't decrease on windows 8.1....

I have VGN-Z620D running Vista, and there is a problem with the touchpad. Sometimes when the laptop wakes up from sleep, the touchpad stops responding completely. It does not happen always but still often enough to be annoying. After a restart, the touchpad works properly again.
View 3 Replies View Relateddv6000 touchpad not recognized by driver. Also blue led always on and not effected by pushing on/off button. Had replaced motherboard due to failure just before this. All else works fine including usb mouse.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI recently purchased the xps 12 ultrabook. Now the touch pad on it will not work at all. Not sure if I pushed something to disable it or what? But the pointer is there and when I click, it does absolutely nothing!! I have to use the touch screen for everything or an external mouse that I plugged in.
View 3 Replies View RelatedUnder control panel: mouse properties tab hardware, there is no mouse shown. The same with device manager, there is no mouse listed. Changing mouse settings has no effect. There is still no mouse pointer, even though I can see it move when I hover over icons, I can click, and I can locate the pointer when I press ctrl (radar symbol). As soon as I plug in an external mouse, the mouse point appears, a mouse appears under mouse properties hardware, and I can move the pointer via touch pad also.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI am experiencing issues with my touchpad on my Thinkpad Edge AMD with 4 GB Ram.
Sometimes the touchpad will work and sometimes it will not respond. When I restart the computer, it will work but not for long. I have the up-to-date drivers which came with the machine. I just received my machine 2 days ago.
I recently had to get a new hard drive for my laptop which is an Inspiron N5010 with Windows 7 and since I have gotten it back my touchpad scrolling no longer works like it did before and I cant find the setting to fix this issue.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a Dell Latitude E6430 and touch pad has not worked since day one I got it but I always have a mouse plugged into the USB so I never used the Touch pad since testing it on day one.
I download the Dell Diagnostic tool and ran it under the "Complete Setting" and everything back as passed.
My dell touch pad doesn't work while typing. Means that if you keep pressing any key on the keyboard except ctrl and alt keys then use the touchpad the cursor doesn't move it doesn't respond. I haven't downloaded any drivers. The problem could be settings which I don't know or drivers.
View 2 Replies View Relatedi just got my z710 the other day. clone the drive (for a rainy day). Then formated and installed Win7 Pro 64bit. i managed to get everything else in working order except i would like to occasionally turn off the touchpad. i use a mouse for games and such and the hot key doesnt work to turn it off. BTW every other hot key does what its intended to do.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI bought one for a customer, and it's been a nightmare. I've done all of the suggestions and ended up taking it to an authorized repair facility. They "reset" it and said it was fixed. Of course it was not. Acer has to provide a fix as it is their product that does not function correctly.
View 2 Replies View Relatedmy touchpad will stop working and then continue to work..
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a problem with my touchpad. Sometimes everything is ok, but0 especially when I put my laptop into sleep and then power it on some functions doesn't work properly eg. the two finger scrolling.I've found is to restart my computer which is annoying.
View 3 Replies View RelatedDell n1510 - receive error 24 ... I have run all updates, tried an older driver and re-installed the latest drivers, without success.
Unable to test keyboard by pressing f8 at start-up to get to a command prompt. also unable to press f6 to enable keyboard.
In windows mobility center, the 'turn on' button for the touch pad is grayed out. Is it possible that the keyboard/touch pad connections are not plugged in tightly? i don't want to to open up the laptop unless that is a good option...
I have bought a ES1-512-C5YW and for some reason i cant get the scroll function to work on the touchpad ...
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy touchpad doesn't work but the buttons are working fine. It also clicks randomly (not with the left or right mouse buttons) so I have to disable it. I have installed the latest version of the Synaptic driver and the problem still persists. I think only the touchpad is having a problem because when I use a wireless mouse, it works fine.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have owned my Dell M1330 notebook PC (specs in signature below) for over 4 years. Several weeks ago, the left and right-click touchpad buttons stopped working. The touchpad itself seems to be operating normally. I surmise I inadvertently deactivated the touchpad. I checked the manual, but it did not reveal how to reactivate (or deactivate) the touchpad buttons. How to reactivate the touchpad buttons, such as using the shortcut keys? I read one post in a PC forum of a similar situation; in that situation, the user's touchpad cable had come loose, but I understand this is a rare occurrence. How to reactivate the touchpad left and right-click buttons.
View 3 Replies View RelatedHow to make my touch-pad scroll function work? I drag my fingertip up or down the right side of the pad, on the line, and get nada, zip. If i hold down the left click key i can scroll with the window slide bar but thats it. I have checked all of the settings for mouse that I know about. .
View 1 Replies View RelatedOkay...so, a while back, my computer had a problem where the computer would say that it's "plugged in, not charging." I fixed this by getting a new adapter. ([URL]...)
While the charging problem is fixed, whenever I plug my computer in with this adapter, the mouse becomes erratic. I can do basic navigation, then the cursor flips out and flies over what I'm about to click, so aiming for anything is like running on ice. I read a few things online as to what this is, and wound up updating my mouse driver and BIOS, even "releasing flea power" (Either I did it wrong or it didn't work) This has done nothing for this problem. I don't want to have to replace this computer. This is a Dell Inspiron N5110
latitude 3440
windows 8.1 64 bit
after switching between user accounts, I can move the cursor around on the screen, but I can't click on anything, not left click or right click
after signing out of the problematic user account and signing back in, the pad works normally
I saw a lot of reports on this problem for linux, but none for windows.
this laptop came with ubuntu installed. I personally installed windows 8.1 64 bit, which is supported, and I installed all the latest drivers.
When I disabled the touch-pad (by Fn+F3) the touch-pad is disabled but the orange light indicator doesn't work...It worked before very well I don't know what is the problem? I uninstalled and reinstalled the touch-pad driver again but there is no change..I'm working on win 8 64 bit
View 4 Replies View RelatedThe cursor doesn't even display on screen unless I connect a mouse.
It was working fine then suddenly the problem started. I tried FN + F6 but no point
I tried installing this driver : [URL] .... But that didn't solve the problem
I entered device manager >> view by connection type, and I found "Lenovo Pointing Device" with a yellow triangle on it. I uninstalled it and it disappeared forever............. But the problem is still there. It's as if the entire touchpad cable isn't even connected to the motherboard.................
Just recieved a lot of the new Yoga S1 laptops. I have searched the board and found others had this problem but the dates were old. Is there a new patch or fix?
Win 8.1 Enterprise 4gb ram 64 bit
I just got a Lenovo Y40 and the touchpad uses the ELAN software. I already set up two finger option to open right click (pop-up menu).
View 9 Replies View RelatedUsing an XPS15. My left touchpad button has some problems. It seems to only work if it's pressed 2-3 times, or if you push it down hard...
Could this be related to any settings / firmware? - I think it's more likely that's it's probably failing and needs to be replaced?
I have a permanent battery failure message...
There is another, even newer driver available from the E4300/E4200. Thanks to Logan_Nolag for posting that. It is even more responsive than the Studio driver.

The touchpad is now up there with the Synaptics from my old XPS m140.

I tried it on my E6400, and it updated to the newer drivers without issue. I am definitely noticing a diffference in the touchpad.
