I was wondering if anyone has any good display drivers for the go 7200? as I've underclocked the card with atitool and set up a couple of profiles.
the stock clocks are; 450 core and 700 memory and it will reach 82C I've tried the 8464 b drivers from hp but supposedly there's 8464 a drivers which I just can't download from any link I've found.
does anyone have these drivers as they are newer and its something else to try. I force installed te new nvidia notebook drivers but they work even worse.
or if there are any other drivers that other users have tried, I'll try anything that'll at least drop it below 70C, oh yeah I've underclocked it to 200 core and 600 memory and it still plays call of duty really smooth at 75 - 80 degrees! its so annoying
sorry I forgot to say its XP drivers I need . I've noticed the vista drivers are much further, can anyone tell me if these drivers work cooler? as I might actually install vista if that's the case.
I've a HP Compaq 6730b with build in webcam. According hardware info, webcam should work and drivers are installed.
When I start up HP_Webcam.exe or Youcam the blue led is not turning on and I receive the following error: access violation 00529e53 in module HP_Webcam.exe. Read of address 00000000.

I could have sworn that Dell released some new drivers for the FX2700 / FX3700 earlier this year - I could have sworn that I installed them and had problems so didn't re-install them when I had to re-image my laptop

I'm in Need of Display drivers for Dell Vostro1500, Recently I upgraded my laptop to Windows7, let me know where should I get the drivers or send me the link I'm going to download the same from that link.
I installed windows 8.1 on my Probook 450 G1 and I could not find any ATI Radeon 8750M drivers to it. The windows 8 drivers are not working properly in windows 8.1 ...
A friend of mine has the dv2000 pavilion laptop with vista installed. He decided to uninstall vista and install xp 64bit. The problem now is that I cannot find the vga or audio drivers anywhere
Some spec: AMD Turion 64 x 2 TL-58, 1.9 GHz, 1.93 Gb Ram, Windows XP Home Edition SP2
They are mostly identical, but with two exceptions.
1. One has a but faster processor than the other. 2. One used shared memory for the video (Intel Driver) and the other has an nVidia Quadro video card with respective driver.
I would like to be able to swap the hard disks between the two computer.
My question is, can I install both sets of drivers and assume the respective computer will know what to do?
I have both Intel and ATI switchable graphics in my laptop. I recently reinstalled Windows & If I try to install the ATI drivers from the drivers CD or from the HP website, the laptop hangs on the Windows logo after a restart and I have to do a system restore to fix it. If I try to install just the Intel driver it just gives me an error that says "This computer does not meet the minimum requirement to install the software". I am unable to change the brightness and the resolution is bad. In Device manager both the options under display adapter say "Standard VGA Graphics Adapter", with a yellow error sign over one of them. I am worried if the graphics card is damaged from over heating. Is it possible to disable one of the cards to check functionality of the other?
When HP'S AMD video drivers (tried all available versions) are installed, I get screen flickering when the laptop comes up to the Start screen. However, when I installed Microsoft's video driver, the screen is normal. Please note that a recovery back to factory settings (Windows 8) was already done to this point.
I am having some flickering, and glitches in the display, and it seems, that it depends on the lcd position. It starts after I open the display, or sometimes after the laptop has been in use for a long time. It happened before, and the hp service replaced the lcd, saying that was a faulty one, but now, with the new one, is starting again. Is a bad replacement? I have to worry for the videocard? or motherboard? I spent 350uss on the new lcd, and I really hope is the replacement.
I just recently had to do a clean install of windows 7 64 bit on a pavilion 15t-n200 notebook pc and discovered to my distress that the drivers page for this model doesn't have all the drivers such as display, ethernet, audio, and a few others that aren't installed. Support assistant doesn't recognize the missing drivers but they are shown as missing in device manager and don't come up with any Microsoft updates either.
I've got a pavilion 15-n086sl. When I update to 8.1 the radeon drivers doesn't work good ! I have this error VIDEO_DXGKRNL_FATAL_ERROR. Where can I find the right drivers ?
I installed windows 8.1 into my Probook 450 G1 and I could not find any ATI Radeon 8750M drivers to it. The windows 8 drivers are not working properly in windows 8.1 .
I have a HP 6t-1200 CTO Ultrabook with the Radeon HD 8750M and Intel 4000 switchable graphics.
Problem: When I am operating with Windows 8 they function normally, but upon updating to Windows 8.1 the AMD drivers fail to be able to initiate and D3D.
1. Most current driver is dated 2013-01-14 2. Generic drivers do not recognize the hardware 3. Drivers for other HD 8xxx series based HP laptops do not resolve the problem
Current workaround: Open the Catalyst Control Center and go to switchable graphics application settings under the power tab. Switch anything that uses DirectX to run in power saving mode, this will run those applications using the intel 4000 graphics which has a more current driver that works with Windows 8.1.
Solution: For now I believe that the only solution is to wait for HP and Microsoft to work together on creating a newer driver. Once that newer driver is released it should resolve the problem. The other solution is to permanently stick to Windows 8 and not update to Windows 8.1. This is a bit more difficult though since Microsoft pushes 8.1 very aggressively. There might be a way to make the notifications and automatic attempts to update stop, but I have not looked into that solution.
Had to format my hard disc and reinstall Windows XP, then upgraded to Win 7. Windows has generic VGA driver that's OK, but it can't run any copmplex videos that it used to be able to run. I know it's 5 years old, but everytime I download stuff for the "specs" listed on website, I can't get anywhere. I'm sure there have been more than one video card integrated into the board, but I don't know where else to turn!
I installed Windows 7 professional (x64) successfully.
I installed all the drivers downloaded form the support section also successfully.
The problem is that on approximately every 5~10 minutes I get the following message:
"display driver intel hd graphics drivers for windows 8(r) stopped responding and has recovered".
This message by itself is not annoying. The problem is that during skype video call after getting this message I don't see anymore nor my own video nor the video of the called.
Not only this, restarting the call does not fix the problem.
The only solution is to restart skype but this also does not work everytime.
I had similar issue with youtube videos but I fixed the problem by setting NVIDIA as preferred graphics processor for the browser application, however I don;t have such option for skype.
I've got a HP Pavilion dv6000z notebook. It came pre-installed with Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit but, I recently changed the OS to Windows XP Home Edition SP3 32-bit. It was a completely new installation of the OS.
Now, I've got a weird problem. I watch the NBA games on this website for international viewers at ilp.nba.com and it goes through an external company named RayV. They provide their own software to watch the games on, I believe it is a p2p kind-a program [if that helps?]; RayV Viewer. In this, the broadcasted video size is 608x336 or something like that and averages about 800k-1000k speed/bandwidth?. They call it the "HD" version.
The problem is, the video continuously "stutters" every 4-7 seconds.
My room mate has the newer dv5t series notebook with an intel core 2 duo 2.0ghz processor nd an intel integrated graphics adapter [x3100/4500?] nd the video works absolutely perfectly on his notebook. Same goes for my friends Apple Macbook [old "lower spec'd" white version] however with mine it has this continuous stuttering problem. I've tried increasing the process priority through task manager but that didn't help either. Most HD videos work fine in WMP [.mkv 720p] though they stutter every now nd then too.
Like about every 10 - 13 minutes, maybe a little bigger gap but it happens nonetheless.
I've tried the 182.08 drivers from laptopvideo2go.com & the DOX 182.46 version as well as the 86.38 version from windows update but none of them have been able to solve it. Any ideas as to what I could try?
I'm currently downloading the beta of Windows 7 to see how that works on this notebook, I believe the RC is just about to be released & is on some sites so could give that a shot but would love to solve it in XP itself.
I just got a 2nd gen envy 15 with an ati mobility hd 5830 gpu. I did a clean install of windows 7 x64, and now cant find any drivers online for the 5830. My graphics adapter is listed as the standard vga adapter.
