I have the Pavilion dm3-3010us Entertainment Notebook. I re-installed Windows 7 on it and now there are some hardware missing. When I go to Device Manager there is a section that says "other Devices" and under it are listed: Network Controller, PCI Simple Communications Controller, and Uknown Device. In front of all of those are yellow triangles with exclamation marks on them.

My netowrk adapter went missing because of installing windows 7 Ultimate version .Previously my laptop came with windows 8 version.And now my drivers are missing .Same with USB ports. View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a HP Pavilion dv7-6187cl Notebook and my Network Controller has seemed to quit working. I have tried numerous solutions and none of them have worked. I recently did a factory image restore on my PC, but before I did the most recent restore, I did the same thing and tried to update the driver and it worked like a charm. This time, its not so easy.

I have the HP Pavilion g6 2346 nr and I am missing the Ralnik bluetooth driver ,the last time I saw it in devices it was the 4.0 driver. I downloaded the driver from HP site an hour ago it was in a pkg (sp60071) I opened it and clicked on setup but all it did was install the device and not the driver. The instruction I read were to delete the old driver first which I did and that left me with no bluetooth in the devices column until I clicked setup in the pkg I previosly described.
BTW I can connect to the internet but this driver (bluetooth) is for my bluetooth devices ,cell etc .

I've received a used HP Pavilion G6 - 1C40CA.
There was a clean install of Windows 7 Home Premium- 64bit.
After searching around online, got a hint of what to do.
Made it to the Device Manager, these are missing or non existant (small yellow exclamation triangle):

Network Controller (Hareware ID: PCI/VEN_14E4&DEV_4727)

Along with finding the proper downloads, I'm not sure in which order I should be installing them (if there is a specific order at all), and if I need to reboot every time I install something new.
I have a Pavilion G6 1247sa A3S29EA#ABU laptop. I had a problem with it and downloaded Windows 7 sp1. All went well untill I attempted to connect to internet. There are some drivers missing. I have attempted to locate them but any that I thought were relevant have proved to be of no use (did not cure problem). There is a screen shot of device manager. There are no item id's with most of the hardware items with drivers missing as the ID's are not showing up. The only info. I have is the wifi board which is a Broadcom BCM 94313 HMGB (this info. taken from the back of the computer). The device called 'BCM20702A0' is the wifi (I presume) as it disappears and reappears from the device manager screen when wifi button (F12) is toggled. Under General for all the devices it states : The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28).

View 3 Replies View RelatedThe Wifi on my a new ProBook won't turn on. Device Manager says that the device driver for Wifi won't load and may be missing or corrupted. It says the wireless device is an Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC3160 with Bluetooth combo device. The HP driver support page doesn't have a driver for this wireless device.

This is a new ProBook G1 450 which I am still doing basic setup on; I haven't even added my programs to it. I am setting up the preinstalled OS with the HP preinstalled programs. It does successfully connect to the internet via an ethernet cable, and I downloaded many Win 7 and HP updates that way. But it will not connect via a wireless network. It does not recognize that there are any Wifi signals in the area. My old Thinkpad and my tablet recognize a number of strong Wifs in the area, and connect easily to the one which I am authorized to use. The ProBook says there is no wireless in the area.
The ProBook's Wifi is apparently disabled. The wireless light is on (white), and when I click the appropriate icon, there is a message saying that Bluetooth is enabled, but Wifi is disabled. The light is supposed to turn on if either of Wifi or Bluetooth or both are turned on, so it is not a malfunction if it turns on when only one is enabled. But I have not tried Bluetooth yet.
Many other ProBook G1 450's apparently have a Ralink wireless device or certain other devices. Not mine. My ProBook apparently has an Intel Dual Bank Wireless-AC3160 with Bluetooth combo device. That's what Device Manager says. And this device might be excellent or perhaps even a nice improvement. However, unfortunately, Device Manager also says "Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)."
The HP support page for driver downloads for my ProBook does not have any driver for such an Intel wireless device. I didn't try the wireless until having installed many Win and HP updates. At the same time that I have noticed the wifi problem, I found that one HP update won't install: that was for Hotkey Support 5. Since then, I am having a little trouble with a couple of other updates. I mention this in case it is of some interest, but I don't see any connection between these updates and Wifi.
I've downgrade my pc from windows 8 to windows 7 professional 64 bit. I found all the drivers except the one which controls wifi. I need that driver so my pc can recognize the wireless card..

I am having issue of system recovery which always show error message:Bootmgr is missing.Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart.The laptop I purchased was without recovery disc.I am having Pavilion dv3-4106tx, come with pre-installed Window 7 Home Premium(I do not whether it's a 32 or 64 bit?).I had used recovery manager to do system recovery and ended with above error message. View 3 Replies View RelatedI used HP Support assistant to install my missing drivers ,it keeps failing one 2 drivers. One driver is the SM Bus controler,I understand it is SP55101. I tried to go to the support page and get it but to no avail. Tried several different time with assistant and fails every time. Also Validity sensor sp 55109, fails every time. When I plug in my cable from my iPhone 5 the software for the usb installs at times then it fails also ,very unstable....

View 3 Replies View RelatedI recently had my hard drive crash so I just replaced it. I used the Windows 7 64bit disk for my OS and loaded the missing drivers to get it functional. I am missing key HP programs for everything else ie: Beats, fingerprint scanner, top row keyboard controls (screen dimmer, volume). The only HP programs I could find are HP Security Assistant and HP Simple pass. Simple pass still says it cannot locate the scanner.
View 2 Replies View RelatedRecently purchased a HP Pavilion 15-n248sa. It came with windows8, which I've done a fresh install to windows 7 (formatting HDD etc).
Managed to get some of the drivers for this from the HP or intel site. But there seems to be no source of two other drivers that are still to be installed. The USB 2.0 drivers (no usb ports will work). And also the ethernet drivers.
I'm VERY disappointed with the support HP has provided towards this laptop for windows 7, even though it's clearly stated it is ready to run it. Genuinely shocked that all the driver support on the page for this laptop includes only 1/3 of the required drivers for this system!
I've seen the solution of looking up the motherboard within the laptop, and then looking up drivers for laptops using that model, but I'm not quite to sure of where to look that up.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI experienced missing several DLL-files, and often got error messages about those. I re-installed Windows 7 64 bit, as I didn't want to mess with those DLLs missing.
After that re-installing, I couldn't get internet-connection to my router. Luckily I have a 10+ year old stationary, where I after some time found the driver I needed, so that works now.
But now it seems there's several other drivers missing/not been installed.
