HP Pavilion g4-2235dx Notebook PC Windows 8...videos that I access through social media tend to stall and the audio will "buzz". What's causing this?
View 2 RepliesI have a Pavilion 11x365, from day one when playing videos via the web I get an audible crackling, having contacted Hp support initially the Drivers were re-installed which did not work followed by a system recovery which has also failed to solve the problem, I returned the notebook for a replacement having received the replacement it also displays the same problem. using headphones or Bluetooth speaker, the crackling is not present.

The commercials that CNN play prior to the story are fine as is a DVD or my loaded music. I relly do not want to reinstall. I have had the computer 3 weeks and I am not sure if it has been there from the beginning. I have updated everything from HP including BIOS and have tried a different browser and adjusted volume levels. Windows has done updates.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have the Pavilion g7-2235dx with Windows 8.1 operating system. Nearly every automatic update messes up my ability to get on the internet. The only way I can connect is to uninstall all of the updates. The icons on my desktop also stopped working. When I click on them, it goes right back to desktop. Can't pin them to the taskbar either. The ones on the taskbar won't open by clicking on them either. Have to right click and tell it to open. Also problem getting my Norton anti-virus to open. Says it working but can't open it.

The pitch of the scratchy sound varies with screen brightness.

I have lenovo Z560 laptop. My Webcam is displayed in device manager. I had also test my webcam on Testwebcam.com and it is working properly but it can be accesed neither by Fn+Esc key nor its shorcut is on desktop or in start menu and I am unable to find it in C drive.

The sound on my HP Pavilion G6-1a19wm is not working. Sound "does" work when using the audio jack with external speakers. I have no audio. It has been previously working, but suddenly stopped. On the small speaker icon there is a red cross indicating "No Audio Output Device is enabled" When I log on to the computer i get a window that says "CWindowsSystem32AUDIOSES.DLL is not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error."
I have attempted to Troubleshoot but unable to get any sound. I have updated the Audio driver, but it is the up to date driver.

I have a HP Pavilion G6-2252sa Notebook running Windows 8 and I have just installed 8.1. All is OK, except the equalizer function in Dolby Advanced Audio V2 is no longer working. You can still move the equalizer sliders but the actual sound quality remains the same. It just sounds flat as if all sliders are permanently set at zero.

I have an HP Pavillion g6 and the sound is not working at all. I tried troubleshooting the audio playback and then it started working. Then i realized only the system sounds started working.
When i play a video or any audio on my browser (Google Chrome and Internet Explorer) it does not work, but when i play a video/audio downloaded onto the pc, it works. Why is that?
I checked all my browser settings aswell and nothing is wrong.
