HP Pavilion Dv6-3190ee Display :: Blue Screen When Running Videos
Nov 5, 2014
I have an hp pavilion dv6.HP Pavilion dv6-3190ee.My computer crashes and gives blue screen whenever i play videos. The system says that the driver is up to date.
I've been having trouble with the screen on my HP Pavilion dm4 2070 USA. Half of my screen has some green/blue dots on it. when i open a webpage you cannot see the dots. This is the first time this has happened.
My HP Pavilion dvr-1200 CTO Entertainment Notebook PC has a huge problem. It will not display anything other than a set pattern of rotating block colors -it goes from red to blue to green to a shadow sort of grey with vertical lines, each lasting about ten seconds, than repeating over and over. You can hear the computer starting up, and you can get it to the start page by knowing when to press enter and when to scan your fingerprint; this is as far as I can get without seeing. I've had the problem for about two months; the unfortunate thing is after about a week, I decided to hook up a external monitor to it, and got a full picture, with everything but the screen display working great. Unfortunately, in excited haste, I decided it had to be a graphics driver issue, which would just mean an update or a completely new set of drivers. Great. But I accidentally deleted the drivers I had before I uploaded new ones, and the external screen I was using went blank.
I have a HP Pavilion G7-1365dx Notebook and I recently have been having issues with the screen turning white while running Netflix or Sims 3. When the screen goes white I put it in sleep mode and then wake the comupter up again and the screen comes on like normal but if I'm running Netflix or Sims 3 its only a matter of time before it happens again.

I have a hp 2000 and use internet explorer, google and bing. I have windows 8. I have been getting a green screen on all videos. My audio is there. Started a 2 days ago.
I have installed windows 8 on my dell inpiron n5110 but as it has a lot of bugs, i have uninstalled Windows 8. Now i am reinstalling Windows 7 in it but it is not working properly.
I tried installing Windows 7 several times but each time when Windows 7 installation finishes, system restarts and shows following blue screen.
Windows 7 is not moving further. Each time when i restarts computer, Windows splash screen (Windows Logo Screen) shows and then moves to error screen.
I have a hp pavilion g6-1d 60 us notebook , formerly running windows 7 Home Premium 32/64 bit operating system. I'm now using Windows Ultimate 32 bit operating system.
I have an HP dv7-6c95dx laptop and the display is out of whack. Black is shown as blue and there are even red dots where some other color should be. LCD screen is a replacement screen and I have already switched out the lcd cable that connects to the lcd screen. When picture is displayed on an alternate screen, the picture is 100% fine. I was thinking the lcd inverter may be busted but I couldn't find a replacement inverter anywhere online for this model.

Problem: After logging in, the screen flashes the Start Screen on and off in random fashion, and is unresponsive to any input.
Effort: We followed the instructions on the HP web site for this symptom (Desktop Screen Flashes Between a Blue Screen with a Blank Taskbar and a Desktop Screen on Startup (Windows 8)), but it failed at step 8 - the Start Screen flashes in Safe Mode with no way to find or enter the "Control Panel" step.
We have also rolled back the system to the last restore point, reseated the memory, and reset the BIOS - all HP recommended processes for video problems.
Current Status: We always look to resolve any problems via the HP web site first; this one had us stumped.
I'm an IT professional working on a client's HP Envy 15t-3200 notebook PC (Win 7 x64, Intel i7, AMD 7700 series)
He said (he thinks) after installing a recent windows update, it started blue screening on him with a graphics error. He restored his PC to factory install, and it was working fine until he installed windows updates and the graphics drivers again, receiving the same blue screen graphics error.
I picked up his laptop. I installed a slipstream of windows 7 that I created. Everything worked fine - as soon as I installed his graphics drivers.
First, I had installed the AMD drivers (from AMD, not HP). I thought everything was working fine, until I checked the device manager and saw that the AMD graphics were being disabled, and the laptop was reverting to the generic graphics driver. I also tried the older driver offered on HPs support page.
I uninstalled the AMD graphics, and installed the Intel graphics. As soon as they were installed, upon restarting I received the same original blue screen error and had to result in booting to safe mode and performing system restore.
When I install the AMD graphics without installing Intel graphics, it reverts itself to Generic graphics. The AMD graphics adapter shows a Code 43 in the device manager, stating that the device has stopped working because it has reported problems.
I played around with different versions of AMD graphics which did not resolve the issue, and I installed different versions of the Intel graphics, which still caused a blue screen.
The PC is working ONLY with the generic graphics drivers, which doesn't work for what my client wants to be able to do (gaming).
I found this - [URL] ..... on the troubleshooting page for this notebook, and tried using this solution which also did not resolve the issue.
I've checked temperatures of the laptop and nothing is anywhere near overheating.
My Aspire V3-771 is a little over a year old now. I don't know much about computers, but i do enjoy several pc games, and watch a lot of streaming videos. when doing so my computer almost always shuts itself off, even while running games that could hardly be called graphic intensive. I'd thought it might be an overheating issue? but i don't think that's the case.
I've also noticed that, within the task manager, the disk will often jump to 100%.
Again, for months after i bought the machine, it worked perfectly fine. many of the programs that it used to run, now cause it to shut down without warning.
I recently formatted my laptop to windows 7 ultimate and since then can not get my function keys to work. I've reinstalled drivers that I thought might work and nothing.
When I could no longer adjust my brightness is when I noticed that my function keys were not working. Is there any other way to adjust the brightness on my laptop besides the function keys? If so I have not figured it out.
Ok, so, had my laptop for just shy of a year now. Everything has been working fine until yesterday whe I booted up, the screen rotated a solid green/blue/red for a few seconds then went black (backlight still on) and there it stayed, have re-booted a few times and each go, it goes straight to the black screen, I have plugged it into my TV via the HDMI which works fine can see everything and use as normal.
i've frequantly had this problem , when i start my laptop ( hp pavilion 15n021se ) on the lock screen when i'm going to click to enter my password , just after moving mouse cruser i get the blue screen saying that the error is " invalid process attachment attempt "
i searched for this error and most results was meeting my thoughts that the cause for this error is the touch pad driver .
i've installed the latest version of the driver (sp64225) , and it doesn't suitable for my windows so i want a previous version of the driver
I have an HP ENVY TS 17 Notebook with NVIDIA GT 740M and Intel 4600HD Graphics Drivers, and running Windows 7. Whenever I want to change the resolution in games to a lower resolution than the desktop resolution, the game shrinks its view leaving couple of inches black bars on the edges. For example if my desktop resolution is 1920x1080, and I want to run a game in 1600x900, the game doesn't fill the screen, instead, it leaves some amount of blank space on the edges of the screen.
In order to solve this problem, I tried the following steps:First I tried to locate the Display tab in NVIDIA Control panel in order to set scaling/stretching to 'Full Screen', but my version of NVIDIA CP doesn't have the Display Tab (My NVIDIA drivers are the latest version). Then I found out that I should do this from the Intel HD Graphics Control Panel. My Intel HD Graphics CP has an option named "Scaling" under Display > Display Settings, and it only shows the option Maintain Display Scaling which is checked by default and doesn't allow changing it. Also, after searching through internet I saw that some people suggested entering the 'Advanced Settings' and trying to make changes there. When I try to enter Advanced Settings under Display, it says "This display does not support any of the advanced settings".
After trying these without success, I tried updating the Intel's driver through their website hoping this can fix the problem. I ran Intel's small application on their website which identifies my chipset and suggests me the latest driver for that chipset. The website told me that the driver that is installed on my computer is 10.18.10.3304, and there is an update for this which is 15.33.18.64.3496 (or 10.18.10.3496). So I downloaded the file, but when I tried running it, it gave me this error message: "The drivre being installed is not validated for this computer. Please obtain the appropriate driver from the computer manufacturer. Setup will now exit." which doesn't make any sense.
I have a Windows 7 HP Pavilion dv7. I can use the internet 2 different ways - through AOL or through Internet Explorer. It works fine going through AOL. But when I go directly thru Internet Explorer, I get the dreaded Blue Screen. I have gotten a messsage to upgrade to Internet Explorer 11, but when I try to do that, I get the Blue Screen.
Pavillion DV6-2155dx from 2010 working fine earlier today, then went to turn it back on and it generated a blank blue screen and will not go any further . . . no error message at all. Ran a "Start Up Test" which said that Memory Test passed, Smart Check passed, but Short DST failed.
I keep getting blue screens complaining about igdpmd64.sys x00000050. I noticed on the day that I suddenly started getting blue screens Windows installed a bunch of windows 7 x64 updates. Does the recent windows updates can cause this?
At times I cannot even reboot normally when it occurs. I have had to restore to a previous version.
All Windows, drivers and antivirus are updated and free of virus and/ro coruped files. Chekdisk reports no problem. cannot read Mini DUMP files. Blue screen to quick to read.
I recently bought a used HP Pavilion dv2000 used & when I went to use it I got a blue screen that says enter password. What the password could even be as I didn't know the person I bought it from so can't retrieve the password. When I hit enter 3 times I get a message saying System Disabled 05198 ....
for some reason the on screen display meter for my volume when pressing on the keyboard suddenly disappeared, I would like to get this back. I found this thread in the forum URL.... which another was having the same problem I'm having. The only difference is that I'm using HP Pavilion G7 with Windows 7.
I have a HP Pavilion G6 2302ax laptop. When i uses google chrome, sometimes the screen gets some grains and suddenly becomes blue. A message is displayed saying that the system encountered an error and need to be restarted. The error is "SYSTEM_SERVICE_ EXEMPTION".
I am using the high performance graphics for running google chrome.
I have the HP- Pavilion g7 Notebook and have not had any problems until I was getting a Blue Screen of death after an update of Skype got on my computer. I had to do a system recovery several times until I found out this is a problem apparently caused by skype, now skype wants to update again and windows7 doesn't like it at all, the machine crashes again. Last resort, I downloaded an older verson of skype which works fine but in the long run doesn't solve the problem. If there is a fix what is it, I have not gotten any suggestions from skype, to get this resolved. The only thing I hear it might be related to some driver that has not been updated. What can I do?
