I have a HP Pavilion G6 2302ax laptop. When i uses google chrome, sometimes the screen gets some grains and suddenly becomes blue. A message is displayed saying that the system encountered an error and need to be restarted. The error is "SYSTEM_SERVICE_ EXEMPTION".
I am using the high performance graphics for running google chrome.
I am facing a severe problem of sudden crashing of windows and restart of window.............after restart it shows the message that window is recovered from unexpected shut down.

After downgrading from windows 8 to windows 7 the usb slot on the right side of the laptop is working, nut the two on the left hand side are not working. Windows driver search says no driver found and unidentified ERROR.

I have the HP- Pavilion g7 Notebook and have not had any problems until I was getting a Blue Screen of death after an update of Skype got on my computer. I had to do a system recovery several times until I found out this is a problem apparently caused by skype, now skype wants to update again and windows7 doesn't like it at all, the machine crashes again. Last resort, I downloaded an older verson of skype which works fine but in the long run doesn't solve the problem. If there is a fix what is it, I have not gotten any suggestions from skype, to get this resolved. The only thing I hear it might be related to some driver that has not been updated. What can I do?

Update your Chrome browser to Version 37.0.2062.94 m and above ... It works fantastic with the Y2P and the text is so sharp now for high res laptops running Windows ...

Touching on the screen when typing still does bring up the OnScreen Keyboard ...
Oh well ... At least the text is much sharper now compared to the previous versions of browsers ... I have a Y2P (i5) ...
My T440p slightly adjusts the screen brightness depending on what is being displayed. For example, on Chrome, one page might have more images, so the screen slightly adjusts brighter or darker. Another page it might slightly adjust again. And it does it when scrolling down a page as well. It is distracting, and I want to disable it? I'm on windows 7.

My problem is that my laptop suddenly powers off while running, not hibernating - total shutdown without any error or warning or anything. It just goes blank and dont turn on again until i connect it with its charger. Low battery is not the problem cause it doesnt give low battery error even battery sign shows that i have enough battery to work about next 30 mins.
I turned on my computer this morning after a Windows update and it wouldn't allow me to connect to my wifi. Initially it said that I was manually connected to an old network but I deleted that and tried to manually connect to my home network but no luck. I worked through all the trouble shooting options and checked to see if the driver was up to date (it was) - all without success. My computer allows me to connect an ethernet cord to it and the router and use the internet that way. I know it's not the router because I use the internet wi-fi with my iPad. When I look at the Driver details it appears it is a 32system driver whereas I believe I am running a 64 bit operating system( but I might be misreading this as I don't know a lot about these things).
My Pavilion is about two years old and the motherboard was replaced by HP while under warranty.
For the second time in about nine months the notebook suddenly cannot recognize my router's WiFi signal. This time if I do a system recovery I will have to reinstall 50 apps! I am trying to avoid this if possible. I understand that changing the bios settings, how this step will affect (delete/save) files. Upgraded from WIN7 to 8 to 8.1.
2 days ago, when starting my computer (Windows logo after POST), my screen suddenly went black. After 20 seconds it changed to my external screen as normal. This made me suspicious as my screen usually goes black only for 2-3 seconds during startup.
After startup I tried changing back to the internal WUXGA screen on the laptop by pressing FN+F8.
What happened then was that from the left side of the laptop, I heard this weird high-frequency scratching sound. The screen went on for a fraction of a second ( I could see the desktop ) but then it instantly went black again.
What can be causing this?
I installed the WUXGA screen myself about half a year ago. Can this be caused by loose cable connection or something like that?
My aspire s3 screen suddenly goes black. When I connect it to HDMI I can see the display on the HDMI device. When I disconnect HDMI the screen display comes back but again goes black after some time. It is a hardware problem or some settings to be done. This display problem happens when I restart or power on the note book.

The system is still available, but i can't see anything on the screen. The only solution is to push the power button an switch to standby mode.
