HP P077tx Display :: 3D Video Controller Driver Error?
Dec 19, 2014
I have purchased HP p077tx model laptop,it comes with gt840m but when i am trying to install the drivers it shows the error message"no compatible hardware found" during installation.Furthermore when I checked the device manager it shows no gt840m in the display adpters list, the 3D video controller is showing no driver installed on the PCI 10 bus.
I am using Hp 15-d103tx  4th Gen i5 intel Notebook with Window 7 64 bit OS.   reagarding 3d video Controller Driver. I need that  driver . I tried to find out Hp offical site but not found.
But this to "video controller" and "video controller (VGA compatible)" still can't find the way to fix them, I went to dell's drivers download page and the drivers don't fix the problem!!!
I've been told that I need my video controller working so I can put my computer into standby or hibernate, since that option is not working on my computer.
My computer works fine but I really would like to fix this two issues!!!
Ethernet Controller is another device that is not working, but I'm not too worried about it since I can connect to the internet using my wireless card
M6400, Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit RTM, FX3700M, E2E RGB LED
Everything appears to be working fine in my win 7 installation with the exception of the video. If I install any video driver then the LCD display dim's down to <50% of its normal brightness compared to just vanilla VGA drivers. External monitor works fine.
I initially went with the official NVIDIA 186.03 driver, and this exhibited the dimming effect. I have since tried all manner of other video driver versions including laptop2go, etc and none of them work. Even had my first win7 BSOD when I installed Dell's latest Vista x64 driver .....
I'm having trouble finding a video or a graphics driver for a hp pavilion dv8315nr notebook pc The product and model number is EZ580UA#ABA the version of windows in my computer is windows 7, my computer has completed all of its important Windows Updates. I have updated my HP drivers using the hp support system, it is an on-going, or recent issue.
OS: Win7 64Bit Product : b0p18pa#ab4 Model: dv6-7007tx GPU: Nvidia Geforce GT 630m  On fresh install of W7 I have 2 instances of "standard VGA graphics adapter" one that is "installed correctly" (IDs below):  PCIVEN_8086&DEV_0166&SUBSYS_181B103C&REV_09PCIVEN_8086&DEV_0166&SUBSYS_181B103CPCIVEN_8086 &DEV_0166&CC_030000PCIVEN_8086&DEV_0166&CC_0300
After trying multiple times (both automatically and manually) to install the Nvidia drivers it shows an error saying "you must install an Intel driver first". I realize this is the HP forum, but i've tried contacting Intel with no luck on top of trying every Intel driver that looks even remotely relevant. (most of which error while installing mentioning my computer lacks the requirements for the install).  I've tried updating the drivers automatically through windows on top of disable/uninstall and restart, but the same problem keeps arising.
I want to install  AMD Video Driver and Control Panl  alongside with Intel Video Driver and Control Panel.  Here is My Laptop System Information :  OS Name Microsoft Windows 8.1 Enterprise Version 6.3.9600 Build 9600 Other OS Description Not Available OS Manufacturer Microsoft Corporation System Name TUHIN System Manufacturer Hewlett-Packard
Have done a clean install of VISTA HP. Keep being prompted to install driver for "Mass storage controller". Device manager shows it with yellow exclamation mark. Windows cannot locate a driver. Looked on the Acer site but unsure what to install for this one.
Device manager just calls it "other device" Acer Aspire 9301awsmi.
I upgraded to Windows 8.1 pro 64-bit on my HP split x2, and now the network controller has no driver, as well as one other device. I do not know where to find the drivers for these.  Network controller: PCIVEN_8086&DEV_08B3&SUBSYS_00708086&REV_83 PCIVEN_8086&DEV_08B3&SUBSYS_00708086 PCIVEN_8086&DEV_08B3&CC_028000 PCIVEN_8086&DEV_08B3&CC_0280  Unknown device: ACPIVEN_INT&DEV_33A0 ACPIINT33A0 *INT33A0
I’m hoping someone can help me as I’ve tried everything (which my knowledge is very limited) that I know what to do and I am unable to fix the problem I am having.
I have a Dell Inspiron 710M which is no longer under warranty and yesterday I received the following error upon boot-up. The 710M was purchased in February 2006. Windows XP Home Edition SP3 was installed.

Recently got a hand me down laptop. My brother did a reinstall of Windows 7 and formatted the hard drive before handing it over.
Its having issues - I'm trying to play FM 2013 but keep getting crashes during games. When I looked in Device Manager there were a load of yellow !. Most I solved by just right clicking and updating the drivers. The 540M graphiics were not showing up a all - so I had to download these from the website myself - but now have the Nvidia centre - which seems to work.
But still the SM bus controller still shows a yellow ! - and the game continues to crash, sometimes it forces a system shutdown.
When I click on the yellow ! and get a hardware ids i get:
i recently installed WinXP on my Acer 5930G (went from vista). i managed to find all the drivers (including the ICH9M SATA ACHI-mode driver) except one called the SM Bus Controller which is showing up in device manager with a little yellow ! symbol. Does anyone know where I can find this driver? the Intel website and their chipset identifier tool seems to be quite useless. The chipset identifier can't identify anything except the I/O controller (82801MB ICH9M SATA AHCI-mode) which was installed from the '32-bit floppy configuration files'
I have a HP Pavilion g6-1220sa notebook which has A8 AMD and running windows 7 64 bit. Â I had to reinstall windows manually as trying to make the machine a dual boot with the win7 and ubuntu resulted in me messing the partitions up. I have managed to do so and been installing/updating all the drivers. But in the device manager, the SM Bus Controller still has a yellow excamation mark next to it.Â
I should like to connect my old hp2710p to TV via HDMI. So I connect the displayport of the docking with an hdmi adpater but it doesn't work. Â If I connect my hp2760p, everything goes. Â The 2710p has w7 32bit, last version o BIOS and drivers.
I am having problems connecting an external monitor, Dell 2709W, to my Elitebook 820 G1.  I have an Intel HD 4400 graphics solution. The monitor says:  Out of range signal Cannot display this video mode change computer display input to 1920 x 1200 @ 60Hz.  I use a Display Port cable for the connection.  My OS is Win 8.1 64bit  I have used the HP support assistant to update all hardware drivers...
I am using Windows 7 Home Premium on my laptop and I am currently not able to connect to the internet. I looked up the Device Manager and I found that the drivers for Network Controller is missing.Â
More than 4 weeks I've been looking for Ethernet controller card in the laptop HP-530 for the Windows Vista Home 64-bit not this for the 32 bit, this does not work ....
Had to do a fresh install of Windows 7 Home Premium. After many failed attempts at a recovery, I was able to get an OEM disk and get the install to work. I've gotten everything back up except the  pci excryption/decryption controller driver. It is an HP laptop,  model 15-g013cl.
I cannot find the usb controller driver for the Hp 15-d035dx anywhere. the driver is intel but nothing works. it tells me that the system has minimum requirements to install this software.
Has anyone been able to get their Ethernet Controller to work on the Studio 17? I have the wireless working, but the Ethernet Controller will not load any drivers, automatic or manual. I have searched Intel's site and downloaded every 64 bit driver from Dell's Studio 17 download page.
I have had to downgrade a client's CQ58 notebook from Windows 8 64 to Windows 7 64 at their request. The process has gone quite well and I have managed to find all the necessary drivers - except one, the SM Bus Controller driver, which I am having trouble sourcing. I think this is part of the AMD Catalyst package and I have downloaded and installed the recommended package from AMD's auto-detect and this has not resolved the issue. I have also tried an slight earlier version of these drivers and this too has left me with the same problem. Is it going to seriously affect my clients notebook if I cannot find a suitable driver?
