Dec 1, 2014some one said it may be fan problem so i had check it and found that fan is working in starting up windwos but fan will slow after that . and it is not hit too much.

Jan 18, 2015I bought the Aspire R13 just 2 days ago, but the screen visualization doesn't automatically orientate when I rotate the display. I checked the auto rotation on the screen properties and it is on.
The auto rotation was the main reason to choose this new laptop....Could be the sensors do not work properly?

Jan 23, 2015Laptop, model is "E1-531-B9604G50MNKS". Windows 8. I , its a overheating issue, that's not true at all.
I have turned off this feature where it overheats and it auto shutdowns though power opitons, yet, it still does it. I have never see a laptop so cold have a overheating issue so I cannot be that, lets move on.Â
This laptop is about a year old? This is my mums laptop and I upgraded it to 8.1, re-installed directX which was such a pain (after I tried everything and become desprate ), tried other games, restored it to factor new conditon, did disk error scans, started the **bleep** laptop up though Safe mode, upgraded the drivers, updated every single thing, did deframents. I have really done everything possible even little things from making the game windowed or running Comptibility mode. There is nothing else I can do. I have changed power options, yes. There is no way to fix this peace of **bleep** laptop my mum wasted money on, even the trackpad freezes from time to time while the laptop remains working this lasts for a few seconds. This is the second product of Acer my mum has bought and its not going really well, both of them were not that great and had issues but this is by far the worst state I have seen a laptop being in and now I don't know if its just windows 8 or Acer but from what I have heard as a pretty hard-core gamer windows 8 is not to bad so, acer... I use windows 7 on all my systems and I will probably install it on my mums laptop.

Right now I am limited to what I can do, I cannot download any updates or such for that laptop at the moment It has recently been retorted to factory new or refreshed because it would not start up.Â
We are not sending it away to get fixed (What a waste of money), if it comes to it my mum will use my HP not ACER laptop while I use my computer. My laptop is what 4 years old? Still works fine compared to this Acer laptop.
Acer Aspire 5741 :: Shuts Down After A Few Minutes
Nov 24, 2014I have a problem with my laptop (Acer Aspire 5741G).It´s a couple of years old and the battery stopped working a year back and after that I need to use the power cable.Earlier the laptop got really hot sometimes and shut itself down.I have cleaned it inside (I took the laptop apart) and also changed to a SSD drive.Â
After that it worked better for a while but now the same thing have happened again but there are some differences from earlier. IT´S WORSE.Â
1. The laptop doesn´t get hot. It´s almost cold..... I downloaded a program to see the status of the computer and from it I could read from the sensor data that the temperature is between 30-40degC (CPU usage is as low as 0-4% if I just leave it).Â
2. The fan starts directly when I start the computer and goes on 100% all the time (even if I don´t do anything).Â
3. After 3-4 minutes the laptop shut itself down. Even if I go into the BIOS at start-up and just leave it.Â
4. I have cleaned it again and everything but the same thing happens after I have mount it together again.Â
What´s wrong? Can it be the power cable (AC adapter)? But why does the fan behave like this?

I bought it 4/5 weeks ago, and it has worked perfectly fine. (as it should)

Acer :: Aspire V3-572G Picture Breaks Up After Having It On For About 30 Minutes
Sep 13, 2014this all started when I first purchased my laptop (Aspire V3-572G-54S6, Windows 8.1) when it was on sale for a great price in mid-August. I had heard great things about Acer, loved the specs and look, and was excited to get it. It arrived a few days later, took it out of the box and with the first start up my display was messed up. About 1/4 up the screen tear a little and the top of the screen was being duplicated at the bottom........never had that happen before so I got in touch with Acer support chat, I updated video drivers, rebooted, did a complete power drain, etc. The problem persisted so they had me send it in for servicing. I got it back from servicing just about 2 weeks ago, and it was fixed! Or at least it was until this past Wednesday when the problem returned. Now the problem only occurs when I've had it on for 30minutes to 1 hour, as it is fine on start up. The service log/sheet I got back with it said all they did was software updates, updated BIOS, and nothing hardware related.

Every time I play any video games, with settings from medium to high, at the beginning the fps are around 34 to 40 but after 10 to 20 min of playing, the fps gets down to 12 to 20 specially when there is explosions and such. Jan 26, 2010I have a new XPS 1340, That seems to be having issues with starting up in the wee hours. Monday morning 4:30am I woke up for work, looked over at the Laptop sitting on the desk and the side hinge lights were on.opened screen and saw the login page. I always shut my computer down completely I don't use the hibernate feature.
Several Times last week I noticed when I came home from work and powered up the laptop instead of "starting Windows" it said "resuming Windows". I really don't know if this just started or has been this way since day one. I do know that the battery level always indicates 100% when I shut down and when I start up it's down to about 92% from just sitting turned off? Again I don't use hibernate I "Shut down". using windows 7.
Are their scheduled tasks that can start my machine I have noticed about 34 scheduled tasks in the scheduler can't quite undertsand why so many tasks come pre loaded. Anyway, most have never executed can I just delete them?any help, suggestions, greatly appreciated.
Spent the past 45 min trying to talk to Dell, been on hold guess lunch time is a bad idea.

Feb 2, 2009I have an M4300 notebook with a Quadro FX 360m as the GPU. Now, my problem is that it is automatically downclocked by about half after it reaches a temperature of 85C. I *would* be able to play Crysis (low, of course) at around 30 FPS if it weren't for this.
I thought it might be a BIOS problem; therefore, I downgraded to A02 (I had A13), but that didn't work, so I upgraded again.
I thought maybe it was the graphics drivers;
so, I installed the next lowest ones, but that didn't work either, so I re-installed the newer ones.

May 29, 2010I downloaded and installed the GlobeTrotter Connect in order to use 3g/HSPA on my z11wn.
I could make may lap connect to internet via the inserted sim. However, the connection only last for few mins, then drops. The only way to make it works again is turn off wwan, turn on and restart GlobeTrotter Connect, sometimes I need to restart lap aswel.
this is very annoyed, because I can use mobile internet for only few mins, then must shut down and reset the WWAN adapter.

iTunes 9 has neat little new feature: it will automatically import any music or videos you throw into a specific folder.
That folder is called “Automatically Add to iTunes”, and after installing iTunes 9 you’ll find it tucked away inside your “~/Music/iTunes/iTunes Music/” folder.
Anything you drag into it will be imported into iTunes immediately – and it’s worth noting that the original file (the one you put into the Automatic folder) promptly disappears afterwards. It doesn’t get trashed, but moved to the appropriate place inside the iTunes Music folder.

Will i get a box with papers, a cd, and a disgnostic tool in the mail or what bc thats what it says you get on the Apple website. Where is this stuff? or is it just auto-enrolled and i dont get anything?
