how to make the 4GB SD Card works? I tried the sd card on my other computer and has no problem. I searched the Internet, it seems that the vaio has a limitation up to 2GB only.

My computer does recognize it and opens, but the card sticks out of the computer. I thought the card should be invisible, my experience in using cards for other devices. Is this norma.? I don't want to force the card.

I'm running Win7 64 Bit and in the device manager, I can see the Ericsson device showing up without any errors. Once I launche Access Connections, I receive the error message there's no SIM card inserted and I should insert the SIM and try again. The SIM is inserted as shown next to the slot (although I tried other ways, too). I tried two different SIM-cards just to be safe, both SIM-cards are working in my phone.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI was playing Minecraft two days ago using the GeForce GT 730M graphics card not the integrated Intel HD 4000 graphics card when suddenly purple squares appeared on the game screen. The purple squares didn't appear any where else. The game crashed saying I had a bad driver. Then the laptop pop a blue screen saying VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE. The laptop restarted as usual. I had this message before but further problems occurred. But this time is different.
After restarting I re-launched Minecraft but the game crashed saying I had a bad driver. I uninstalled the current driver using the programs and features and reinstalled the driver for my laptop found in Acer.com. The issue still continued. I went into Device Manager and found out that the graphics card had a code 43 issue. I found a solution online that said to install the newest driver on GeForce.com.
I did that and it seemed to remove the code 43 but when I went into NVIDIA GeForce Experience it said that my laptop didn't have a NVIDIA graphics card. Thinking it could of been a option that I changed that caused this, I did a refresh, and system restore to still see that my laptop wont recognize my NVIDIA GeForce GT 730M graphics card and that NVIDIA Driver Support Service was gone. It allows me to see when the NVIDIA GPU is in use. The system was cool when I started playing Minecraft when the problem happened.

It recognized the intel wireless from the beginning under hardware however even after installing all those files and rebooting I can't get it to recognize the switch is turned on for the wireless. In smartwi it says they are turned off. Is there a software way of turning them on?
I have windows 7 RC installed on my VGN-SR 430J/B. I download Sony Notebook Utilities drivers. I got an error message that battery is not compatiblie, press OK to hibernate. I uninstalled it immediaty, but I may want to install it again. How can I avoid this?
View 10 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to use a 8GB SDHC card on my M1530, the card is "detected" after a little while of being connected. It won't read the size nor the format but it'll say that it does need formatting. I can connect the card to my Toshiba laptop and it'll read just fine and even format properly.
I'm using Vista Ultimate / Windows 7 RC1 (doesn't work on both). I tried to download the XP hotfix but that won't install.
I can't run my 8GB SDHC card on the built-in card reader on my M4400.
Current OS is windows xp x64.
Is there an update for this issue?
One more thing is where to buy a new motherboard for the same
but the one include the nVIDIA 1700M?
I'm looking to upgrade mine, is it expensive?

I just bought a new Studio XPS 16 and it won't read my SDHC cards. I chatted with Dell last night and they took control of my system remotely.. They couldn't fix it, and finally said "The Studio XPS 16 does not support SDHC, you'll have to use regular SD"
I just find this hard to believe on a new, so called "State of the art system"
I also have a Studio 15 (1537) and SDHC works perfectly.
After fighting with several "Techs" and their "Supervisors" I returned the system and bought another..... AND, what do you know... I was right....It does support SDHC!!
From what I've read, it *should* work, but the computer does not recognize a 32GB SDHC card that reads fine on other computers and my PDA.
I've installed the latest driver available from Dell and the XP hotfix, restarted the computer, but whenever I try, I get a "device cannot start" error in the device manager.
A regular 2GB SD card reads fine.

I ordered a 2GB stick of G.Skill 4-4-4-12 from Newegg but haven't yet picked up an SD card - I had one in my fiancée's e1505 but in her taking it places it apparently got knocked out, but since that was just for ReadyBoost, no big deal. However if I have an 8GB+ SDHC card in my Mini 9 I don't want it disappearing for obvious reasons.
xps 1730 ok with sd, but sdhc cl10 doesn't upload, had to connect with usb to camera.

However on my dell laptop not working and not in another dell notebook like mine who also got in both the connection does not work.What I did and did not work:I used the program from Samsung KIES update drivers to try and gain access to the phone.I downloaded the drivers and installed samsung separated, but also without success.I uninstalled all USB drivers and let windows install them again. When I connected my phone, the driver was updated to UNKNOW DEVICE DRIVER, or upgraded to unknown device and continued not working.Already have activated / deactivated by phone usb debugging.It is seen that the problem is with my dell notebook for notes in other pcs and works normal, probably with drivers, however I can not install them and not find them available for download.
