I have installed windows 7 ultimate 64bit on my hp 15 d002tx laptop. Whenever i start my laptop it stuck at login screen with no password box and no username and no picture and after 10 minutes it displays username and password box to login. Everytime when i press the start button

I then returned to find that my laptop had not started up properly, and had instead come up with a black screen displaying "Checking disk for errors. This might take over an hour." So I left it sitting there turned on and plugged in for around 5 hours, and the message stayed on the screen. I have tried re-installing Windows 8 via hard drive and disk, and it was not able to be loaded. I have also tried hard resetting my laptop, to which the same message appeared after I turned it on again.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI am currently using windows 8 as my OS. When I attempt to start my laptop the Dell logo flashes on the screen and the screen turns blank/black and sits there for a few min before displaying an empty bar and F12 Boot Options in the bottom right hand corner.
I have attempted to press F12 to try and load windows in safe mode but everything is frozen at this point.
Is there a way to determine if its a hardware issue or windows issue. When I searched for the issue I found some with a similar issue but the link provided for support was no longer valid

I know it is problem of key stuck but I can not find which key is stuck.I try dell diagnosis but it can not find. After beeps my os boot normally but after that when I come to OS the search boxes open automatic.
Every now and then my PC goes through the bootup process but as Win7 (x64) starts loading, it says Please Wait...
and then the screen starts flashing continuously... wont take me to the login screen.
only way Dell reckons to resolve it, is to go in Safe mode and go back a Restore point.

View 5 Replies View RelatedMy HP Envy dv6 recently did one of its updates and after that it restarted. Now when I turn my computer on it has the Hp logo, the login and after I log in nothing. There's just a black screen with a glow and the cursor. I know it's working because I can hear noises and the fan going but I can't see my desktop. But if I use the simple pass finger identification it will take me to the we page I saved on the designated finger. That's the only way I can get to the internet. I can't use anything else because I can't see my desktop. I can do ctrl alt del and that pops up but it doesn't do any good. I did the unplug everything, take out the battery, plug in AC adapter but not the battery , hold power button for 15 seconds then put the AC adapter but not the battery and turn on thing and nothing changed. I tried multiple restarts and shutdowns and nothing changed.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI just got a problem today on my HP Envy notebook Product number = F7P58PA. It has working fine till yesterday night. It has windows 8.1 on it, and may be some updates are installed on it during the night (I am not too sure about it).
THe issue is that when I login to windows by providing my pin the start up screen does not show up. its simply blank with cursor showing only. ALT-CTRL DEL gives the task manager and I can run internet explorer through task manager run command but start up screen remains blank.
I have done battery, memory etc tests and nothing has resolved the issue.
